Glad to hear Kaleigh is better.

Not much going on here. The snow melted quickly and I spent yesterday with Dad. I am heading there again late this afternoon and staying tonight.

Paul and Turner will be home tomorrow night late. So far, they have won a game and lost a game.

Happy President's Day!

Jerry is working from home today and we have school.

Expecting more snow tonight, but not as much as a little south of here.

We had a nice V. Day. It was quiet. I made a nice dinner for the 3 of us. Jerry got to watch the Daytona and we watched the Olympics while drinking our $130 bottle of wine that we got for $20. It was GOOD! I have one more bottle. Don't know when we will drink it though.

Jerry has the sore throat now.

Just hoping everyone is over everything when we go to Williamsburg at the end of the month.

Back from a night at Dad's. All is the same. He's still holding on. He didn't sleep well last night so neither did I. Increased the lasix today as well. I won't go back til later tomorrow and stay the night again.

Off to go get my nails done (some ME time). The boys should be home around 9:00 or so. They only won one game but Turner played as a defensement in the last game and let the backup goailie play. We lost another player to a broken hand during the tournament and our bench was short so they suited Turner up in regular player gear and he played out. He scored an unassisted goa in the third period but they lost 4-3 anyway. Way to go Turner scoing a goal!!!!!!!!!

I'll try to get back on later this evening.

Happy late Valentines day!! I had a great day. Got flowers from Bob and some from the girls. Bob and I went to dinner at Red Lobster then to a movie.

ARGHHH! I missed the first Amazing Race. Didn't realize it started last night. Dang.

Sandy-Hope your drive home was uneventful. Sorry about your friend.

Susan-Hang in there.

Denine-Hope Kaleigh is doing better.

Julie-you must need a hug too. Seems everyone does today

Paul and Turner just got home safely.

Now for a good night's sleep. Stanley is relaxed now that everyone is home (at least for one night).

My UTI is back so I have to go to the doctor this morning in the snow. I tried to get out of going in, but they weren't buying it.

This has been a miserable new year so far with Kaleigh having that fever and stuffy nose and the yeast infection. Me with a sore throat and UTI, now 2 of them and Jerry has the sore throat. I seriously need winter to be over!

Jerry is working from home again since his throat is still sore and I have to go to the doc.

Back from the doctor with another UTI like I already knew. Jerry just took my script for Cipro up to Target. At least it isn't as bad this time, Keeping everything I own crossed!

Anyone else watching the Olympics? I like the snowboard-cross. Men's hockey is tonight. I watched women's hockey yesterday; Canada vs. Suisse.

I just wanted to check in with you guys. We went to the funeral in Texas and were going to leave later this morning but we got an unexpected early call from Stacey's DH and that Tyler was throwing up, diarrea and very lethargic. He rushed him to the Emergency room and was admitted. We quickly got up and had to drive home from Texas. We were all emotionally drained from the funeral and now scared for Tyler and we were no where close to home. We got home around 2:00 today and up to the hospital. They said he has a virus and pneumonia. He will be staying a couple of nights because his white blood cells, platelets, and oxygen level is really low. They have him on oxygen and IV. They are doing more tests tomorrow. My mom is staying at the hospital tonight with my sister and then I will be back up there to relieve them tomorrow. Joey is with their other grandma because she can't come to the hospital because she is too young.

Heidi-your post made me cry. That little boy has been through so much. He is so blessed to have such a loving family. How is Stacey? How is Joey? How is your Mom? I am thinking about you guys and praying for all of you.
Please let me know if I can do anything for you.

Thanks guys, we need all the good thoughts and prayers we can get! Tyler is about the same. He has more coloring in his face. He is still struggling with the oxygen when he is awake but when he is sleeping his oxygen levels have been consistent. He is still sleeping about 95% of the day. He was more alert today and talked a little bit and got a little grumpy with the nurse which was good news!!! Hoping tomorrow is a better day for him. I took my mom home tonight but she will have to spend the night again tomorrow. Hopefully he will be off of isolation soon.

Barb - Stacey is doing okay. She is amazingly strong as I would be a wreck if I was in her shoes. We sit at the hospital all day just staring at the monitor and his oxygen levels. His teachers came to see him today. They drove up from Monument. Luckily he woke up for a few minutes while they were there. They had tears in their eyes which set off my mom and my sister to crying. I think everyone is more emotional because we are all so tired. They are doing the 36 hours for kids telethon so the hospital is packed and insane.

Good morning. I went to work today and will go to the hospital tonight. Waiting for Stacey to get to the hospital for an update, Rich isn't the best at giving updates! Hopefully yesterday was the peak and he is on the downside and getting better. I was hoping for a goodnight sleep last night but I was up almost every hour.

Mom - Chris told me we are getting the girls this weekend.

From the newspaper this morning: Since 12/21 we have had 45 cloudy days, 13 partly cloudy days and 0 clear days. Today is a mix of clouds and sun. At least the sun is peeking out every now and then. It is better than nothing!
We had some freezing rain over night.

I work tomorrow. I sure hope the UTI is much improved by then!

Heidi-I sit here crying everytime I read your updates. That horrible feeling of seeing someone especially a child you love so much so helpless and not being able to make it all better. Thank you for keeping us updated. Are you working today? Give Sandy a hug for me. So glad Stacey is doing ok. The strengh of a Mother is amazing when her child is hurt or in danger. I will be thinking and praying for you guys today. Please keep us updated. Heidi will send me your cell phone number again. I lost all my numbers when I washed my phone. I left my phone at home today so I can't even check if I have it. I also need Sandy and Denine's.

Denine-How is Kaleigh? I hope she is better.

Hi everyone,

As you know it has been a very emotional week. The update with Tyler isn't much. Now they don't think the virus but more full strength pneumonia. He was going for an Xray this morning. I am trying not to call Stacey as it "sets" her off emotion wise.

I really appreciate your thoughts and prayers. It's kind of funny but I just wished I had my computer yesterday so I could "talk" to you guys. I think your friendship means so much that it helps me get through things.

Tonight it's suppose to snow so I don't look forward to that with Stacey and Richard taking turns driving home to be with Joey. They keep it a secret from her that we are up at the hospital with them. She gets jealous and when she hears that she thinks it's all one big party. Bless her heart.

I have therapy today so that is why I came home. Besides that, I don't think Richard wanted me to spend the night with him last night.
