Purple= Owner's Locker in my book.

Julie: Did they close NR schools today? I never noticed.

Jerry was just out shoveling and said we got another 5" on top of the few inches we got yesterday. Now the wind is gusting and blowing it all around.

Sandy: Hope you don't have to have the MRI!

Purple = Epilipsy Awareness Day, March 26th. We bought the purple shirts from www.purpleday.org and they came in yesterday.

We are going skiing tomorrow, wish we had fresh snow to enjoy the powder but not this time!!!

Good Morning!
Sorry I have not posted in a week. Slacking again:guilty: Will try and do better. Seems I just don't have much to say anymore. Guess my life is boring. Most exciting thing that has happened to me is my new vacuum and new carpet cleaner. What does that mean when you get SUPER excited over a new vacuum:confused: Not much planned this weekend. Shopping, cleaning, lunch with a friend, movie more cleaning... USE MY NEW VACUUM AND CARPET CLEANER!!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1: Went to a spin class last night. Ouch! Not use to riding a bike for an hour. A little sore today but determined to stick with it. Tonight is water aerobics. Hey Mom forgot to tell you I'm exicted for you going back to Curves!!!! WOOHOO!!!

Julie-Glad you are not getting the snow you could have. There are some parts of the country that are burried! Miserable! Beaches.... Sun....Ocean....warm.....:cloud9: Thats what I am all about! How are the kids?

Sandy & Heidi-COOL PURPLE SHIRTS!! You guys are awesome supporting Epilipsy Awareness Day. Can I help??

Denine-How is Little Princess Kaleigh? princess: How she is doing better. I hope better. Any fun projects your working on?? I love hearing the fun stuff you guys do. Still thinking about your healing hearts :cat:

Susan-How is your Dad? How are you holding up?

I will check back later. PROMISE!

Another cold and dreary day. I wish it was spring already.

Sandy: How is Tyler doing these days?

Nothing going on today.

Hi guys, nothing exciting happening here. Just got back from PT. At least I can drive without pain now.

Hope everyone is doing great. Hugs.

Hi guys, maybe you can help. Kaleigh has a yeast infection and is miserable. I started using nystatin cream (Rx) that she used before when she had it. She was still in pull-ups at the time. Anyway she is miserable with the burning and itching and in frequent tears. What can I do to help soothe that? Everything seems to be for adults.

I don't have any plain yogurt.

Barb: Glad to hear from you. We must have posted at the same time this morning.

Sandy: Glad you can drive without pain.

Poor Kaleigh. I wish I had some ideas for her. Give her a hug from me.

I know I haven't posted in a while. This has been another really tough week. My Dad went to see his Urologist who treated him for 9 and 1/2 years to thank him for all he did and say good-bye. That broke my heart to watch. We were all in tears, even his doctor. We also had a hospital bed delivered this week and they changed his pain meds from oral to a patch. I only worked 3 half days so far this week but plan to work all day tomorrow. Dad's oncologist told us not to expect Dad to be here for his birthday March 12th. He said the time will go by very fast now and to be prepared for any day. The lasix has been increased and they came out to draw blood today to check renal function.

Paul and Turner are driving to DC tomorrow for a hockey tournament. Even with all the snow they have up there, the tournament has not been cancelled. I wish I could go but my place is close by my dad.

Continue sending your hugs and prayers our way. They do mean so much to us.

Love you guys!!

Susan, I feel so bad for you. I can feel your pain. I wish I could say something to make you feel better. ALL of you remain in our prayers. Hugs! LYMI

Denine, I'm sorry, too. I just don't have a remedy for you. I saw you started a thread. Let us know how things are going in the morning.

Our friend has been put in Hospice now. We will probably be heading to Texas soon. It hurts a lot to lose her. She was one of a kind. Kind of a "grandma" for our girls.

Susan: I am so sorry to hear about your dad. You are always in our thoughts and prayers.

Sandy: Sorry about your friend.

We are going to take Kaleigh to the Minute Clinic this morning. She woke up early this morning screaming in pain and the itching.

The Minute Clinic couldn't help, the don't treat below the waist. I bought some vagisil for the itching and burning and will continue the nystati unless I need to buy some monistat. I will also get Kaleigh some yogurt drinks.

Oh my goodness Denine. At least you tried. Wow, I can't imagine going through that at her age!!

Our friend passed away last night. With her strong faith, I know she is happy being in heaven.

Sandy: I just want Kaleigh to feel better. I know what she is going through.

I am sorry about your friend Sandy.

Looking foward to watching the Olympic opening ceremonies tonight.

Good Morning!

Heading out in a couple of minutes to meet a friend for lunch. THought I would drop in and say hello.

Denine-Poor Kaleigh! She has been through so much. Hope she gets better. Will you take her to your regular doctor?

Susan-I feel so bad for you. I cant even imagine how hard this is for you.

Sandy- I am so sorry to hear about your friend.

Sandy - I am sorry to hear about your friend.:grouphug:

More snow coming down!!! Uugghhh!!

Have the house to myself this evening. Bubble bath, Olympics opening ceremony and then bed. Dad's tomorrow.

:grouphug: to Kaleigh!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Love ya!!

Susan, I think a bubble bath is sooo perfect for you. Glad you found the time. Just curious, what is your average snowfall for a season? I was shocked that Washington DC was something like 10 or 15".

The funeral is Monday. We will leave here around 4am Sunday with Heidi and then pick up Stacey. It will only be the four of us going. We are going about 100 miles outside of Amarillo Texas. Not sure if we will leave TX after the funeral or stay another night.

Watching the Opening Ceremonies. Isn't it sooooo sad about the death of the Olympian from Georgia? WOW, I almost think they should close down the luge. It sounds so dangerous and boasts to be the fastest in the World. It just isn't worth a life if you ask me!

Amazing Race on Sunday. Can't wait to see Jeff and Jordan from Big Brother on AR. Did any of you watch Undercover Boss last Sunday? That was pretty good.

Hope Kaleigh is better. Hope Turner has a big huge win!!

Hugs to all.

Kaleigh is slowly getting better.

But, I have a sore throat again. I guess the virus never left my system.

More snow, but the sun is out right now.

Sandy: Yes it was very said to hear about the luger. It is a dangerous sport and they know that, so what are we gonna do? I would love to go down on a bobsled, that would be soo cool.

I only lost 0.7lbs this week, but I am down a little over 10 lbs overall!
