We went back to the mall and got 1 more dress for Kaleigh. It was 50% off plus we had another $10 coupon, so we saved a lot of money.

Then we cam home and went for a walk.
Then we put together a recumbent exercise bike we bought at our garage sale from our friends for $30. It was still in the box!
Then we went out to cut the grass, again!
Then Kaleigh made us sandwiches for dinner. Jerry and I were pretending we were on Mickey's boat and wanted some chicken strips from Pluto's. We told Kaleigh to go get us some. She made us ham and cheese sandwiches. So very sweet.
Then we went to the grocery store and then to Wendy's for frosty's. Kaleigh got a free frosty float from baseball.

Came home and gave Kaleigh a bath and took a shower. Now I am here. Jerry is in the shower then off to bed with Kaleigh.

Hi guys! Had a very nice HOT day today. It was 95, sunny with the heat index of 115 degrees! I will have to go on record and say this has been the HOTTEST trip we have had here. Tomorrow it's suppose to be 98!!!!! I can't imagine what the heat index will be! We have had 1- 30 min. storm and 1- 4 min. shower AND THAT HAS BEEN IT WITH THE RAIN!!!! But I'm happy to say that it's gonna cool off for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 96, 95, and 93 respectfully.... with no rain!

We had a nice lunch at TREX cafe, nothing great, but it was a neat restaurant. I think I like Rainforest Cafe better though for the different animals. Then we went to Magic Kingdom for awhile and then we went to the Contemporary to the WAVE for dinner. It was very good. Tomorrow we are going to do Animal kingdom early, then EPCOT for awhile, dinner at Italy for Father's day, and then off to MK for extra magic hours.

Having a really nice time down here, it's just a little too hot. There is a water drought down here so the fountains that work in the ponds outside the Boardwalk hotel aren't working because there's too little water.

Sandy, how did Tyler do today since he drank some of his father's drink? I hope things didn't go too bad for him.

Heidi, I want to hear more about your trip!

Denine, what did you buy me???? LOL!!! See you could have come to Disney.... going shopping, grocery shopping, garage sale shopping, ..... you just don't love us anymore.

Sorry Julie, I didn't buy you anthing. The dresses for Kaleigh are for next year. The exercise bike is because we are fat. I will have to agree that those temperatures are hot. I am happy we have low 80's and sun today.

It has been a beautiful father's day. We gave Jerry his presents this morning. Kaleigh made him a picture and a book. I got him a polo with Mickey on it that I bought at the outlet store when we were in WDW in May. Then we went for a walk and Kaleigh wanted to look at the model homes, so we did. We came home and Jerry and Kaleigh practiced baseball and played squirt g uns. After that we cooked out. I made my special potato salad this morning to go with the bratwurst. After dinner, we toasted marshamllows on the grill. Jerry and Kaleigh just went up to the store for some tonic water. Gotta have our vodka tonics later! When they come back, they are going to practice some more ball.

Tomorrow is back to reality.

I will see later in the week if Jerry's stitches are ready to come out. They gave me a suture removal kit so I can do it. Sometimes, it is nice being a nurse. This saves us a trip to the doctor and another bill. Who know's how much the trip to the ER is gonna cost.

Turner's hockey team won the Gold Medal in State Games this weekend! They had a great time and then the team had a "finally and we really mean it this time" end of season party! Several of the boys are going off to prep school next year or not returning to hockey. The team next season is still going to be a lot of fun.

I've been working my farm a little. It is so time consuming. Barb has an awesome farm!!

Sandy I meant to get back to you the other day about Tyler and his hurt head. How is he doing? My heart breaks for him everytime I think about how it. He is not old enough to understand whats going on which would make it even harder. Hang in there I can never give you enough hugs!

Had a good weekend. Went to Denver yesterday for a Fathers Day barbeque at Jason & Michelle's new house. They are so proud. I loved listening to Jason tell me all about their plans to put in this, build that, paint this etc... It was nice spending the day with my Mom and Dad too.

I got sunburned yesterday. I had sunscreen on, but it must have been old because it didn't work at all. So now I keep putting aloe gel on. ouch!

Kaleigh has a library program this evening. She has read enough hours to get another book.

We still don't have Jerry's car back.

Ran to the dentist today. Ted's periodontist recommended an electric toothbrush from Walmart. I decided if we were getting one that it should be quality so I asked Graci's mom (our dental hygenist) and she said they got a supply of 170.00 Sonics that they bought for 75.00 and they only had four left. Next stop is for mamm and bone density. Then a very quick dinner and off to a meeting for retirement. Ted has to go to several meetings about two years before retirement so we are just starting those meetings now. Yuck!

Tyler went for his ultrasound today. No word yet. This is interesting. He had a horrible, horrible, horrible weekend. We were thinking the pop but Richard came up with the idea that it started right after his hair cut. The stylist used GEL. Now we are wondering..... pop or gel? Both?

Lived through the tests, lol. Sheez, they really were backed up but did a terrific time getting me through. Now, the waiting period for the bone density test. Last time I was osteopeni. Hope it didn't get worse. I really, really tried concentrating on calcium.

Good morning! Work is so busy that I am going crazy. This week is all in the 90's and I have been enjoying the weather. Yesterday after work I walked around the park and enjoyed the sun. My best friend took me out for my late birthday dinner last night.

I hurt this morning. I found an old can of solarcaine and it helped some. THe thing is, I was wearing a sun dress, with only tiny straps. So, the sun got me where is usually doesn't shine!

Barb: My mantra is nothing should cost more than $25. I don't care what it is. I will find discounts and coupons and clearance sales. I do pretty well. Too bad I can't get airfare for only $25! Or a new car for that matter.

We probably won't hve Jerry's car back until Thursday at the earliest. The lines they got in were the wrong ones. UGHHH!!!!!!!!

I have a meeting a work tomorrow, so Jerry has to work from home so I can have the car.

Kaleigh has a t-ball game tonight and it won't get rained out!

Beautiful today, 84 and sunny.

Julie comes home tomorrow. Her trip seems to have gone by quickly.

Heard from Stacey. Tyler does not (again) have kidney stones. The neurologist is going to call and her questions this time around will be how soon after he eats something bad or use the wrong toiletry does it get in his system and how long will it stay in. He is wearing his helmet again. I am proud of Stacey for making him wear it. Actually I use the wrong term, make isn't right. He doesn't mind wearing it because he gets more freedom than without.

You guys talk about your farm. Well Denine is right. I am a slacker. I might have been born in So Dak but I certainly wasn't raised on a farm. LOL My city girl comes out on this one.

I was so tired when I left work last night I really wanted to skip water aerobics. I only slept 3 hours the night before but I usually only sleep 4 hours a night during the week and do just fine. The past 2 weeks its like my body is changing and wanting more sleep. I get up at 4:30 every morning and had been doing fine. I love the nights. I get house work done, catch up on my soaps and have the house all to myself. I hope I don't lose my time.

I was going to skip water aerobics last night but decided not to give in to myself. I could barely keep my eyes open. After my class we went to dinner and I drank 2 cups of ice tea. Between the exercise and cafeine I was up until 1:30 again "Farming"

Last night I went by the theater. Transformers was showing the first shows at 12:01, 12:02, 12:03 & 12:04. People were like clear around the theater they had tables and tents. Bob was like "Never would I have done that"! I said "Really?? seriously?? Even when you were young?" I would done it in a heart beat. Some of those kids had been camping out for days. Now that one I probably would not have done because I like my bathroom and comfy bed to much. Bob and I are going to see it on Friday night which will be crazy. One of my friends was laughing at me and telling me she will wait. I accused her of not being a cool joiner. She and her husband are now coming with us.

Tiffany and I do have tickets for another show that is coming out soon for the midnight showing. I wont be camping out though. Bob passed on going with us.

Sandy- Kidney stones? I had no idea little guys could get them. I am so relieved that he doesn't have them. Bless his heart. Do the doctors think there is still a chance he will outgrow this like Stacey did?

Barb: I am proud of you for not skipping water aerobics. Jerry and I weighed in this morning. I weigh 3 pounds more than my previous high. I have got to get this weight off! How can you manage on only 4 ours of sleep? I need my sleep!

Sandy: You don't have to be a farmer to have fun infarm town. Just plow, grow, harvest and go tothe market place to get a job and you will earn money to buy neat things.

Kaleigh came with me to my meeting this morning at work. It was on fire safety. We learned all about fire extinguishers and then we all had to put out a small, but real fire. It was put on by the fire marshall. I am also going to work on Monday and take Kaleigh with me for the first time. I can use all the money I can get!
