Well darn it. I forgot that Bonnie was going to be at our airport tonight. I missed her call. But luckily for me, her plane was delayed and we were able to talk.

Tyler had a seizure tonight and cracked his head open. Went to the Urgent Care and got 2 staples put in the back of his head. He told me he has an ow wee (sp). Bless his heart. Thankfully tomorrow they go to the dietician.

Had a nice dinner at Sweet Tomato tonight with Chris and Heidi. I never ever eat like a pig there and I did tonight. I had TWO desserts and typically I don't have a dessert there. Stupid me! Feeling horribly guilty.

Barb, missing you tons.

Julie - how cool you won! I heard that pool is pretty cool, is it true? Glad you got to meet up with Bonnie, too bad it wasn't for very long. I love going to WDW with the Dudettes, they make it so fun! How cool the kids pictures were displayed for everyone to see. Sounds like you are having a great vacation, and thankfully Ragan Road was a better dinner for you!

Mom - poor Tyler. Did you ever find out if he had a concussion?

Barb - Are you swamped at work?

Heidi: Great report so far. What do your cemeteries look like in CO? We have tons around here that look like that.

Sandy: Poor Tyler! I hope this will all be a bad memory once he grows up.

We will find out this afternoon about Kaleigh's game.

Yesterday turned out to be a nicer day than it was supposed to be. We did have a gulleywasher around 6:30 PM that lasted for about 20 minutes. The Heavens just opened up.

Denine - most I have seen in CO is that the burials are underground and not above the ground.

Good Morning!

Yes I am alive and well. I have been swamped at work. If I have a minute I have been "Farming" Hahahaha I love my little farm.

Ethan had his second t-ball game last night. He still does not seem to have a clue what is going on. We really need to work with him. I think we are going to take him to a sky sox game. Last night he position was on the pitchers mound with another little boy. He kept throwing dirt at the other kid. He could not hear us telling him to stop so finally I went down to the side of the field and yelled at him. The coach looked and me and smiled and said "It's ok" I was kind of embarrassed  but I don't want Ethan to get that bratty kid bully rep.

Heidi I love the trip report. I have only read what is on this page but will read the past ones either today or this weekend.

Julie-Sounds like you are having a lot of fun even with the rain! Makes my laugh everytime I pop into your Farm and see you are keeping it up too, even at Disney. Now that is dedication!!:lmao:

Barb - glad you posted, I was getting worried about you. If you stop posting here, we are going to have to ban you from facebook. ;)

Barb, cute cute cute story about Ethan throwing the dirt. He's definitely a kid! No worries.

Denine, oh no, I am guessing you guys are getting all of our horrible storms.

Gotta run and fry tons of bacon for BLT's this weekend.

Just heard from Stacey. She got to see both the dietician and neurologist. A plus that is for sure! Anyway, the bloodwork came back ok. They are having them come back on Monday for an ultrasound. Once again, they are thinking kidney stones.

Tyler talked to me this morning and he told me his head hurts :( Poor guy, can't wait to see them.

Well POOP! Tyler got a hold of his dad's drink tonight. Of course it wasn't sugar free so now we are expecting a horrible, horrible day tomorrow. The book says that he needs to miss out on one or two meals tomorrow. I hope Richard learned his lesson about keeping his drinks up high!

Mom - I think I will try and get out at 1:30. Makes me so mad about what happened last night, I am too afraid to call Stacey!

Sandy: Oh no. I hope it won't be too bad a day for Tyler.

Barb: You have a great farm. I keep working on mine. Sandy, you are a slacker!

Kaleigh played her 2nd game last night. She did awesome! She played first base and got 2 people out and she got another one out when she played "pitcher". She had a couple of good hits too.

We went to Macy's this morning and got some good deals. They had lots for 50% off plus coupons. I got Kaleigh 3 dresses for next summer, I got a bathing suit (yuck) and a couple of tops.

I finally got Jazz to pee in the downstairs litterbox this morning. He peed on the floor yesterday. I put down foil in all of his spots and then sprinkled cayenne pepper on the foil. He didn't like that!

Yeah we had storms this morning, but it is finally in the 80's! Getting more storms later. The sun is out now.

Day 4 – June 1 Day at sea

Like I said before, we didn’t do much on this day. We ordered room service and the girls loved having breakfast in bed. The girls had become good friends with one of the girls of the family we sat with during the hypnotist show. They were pretty much inseparable for the remainder of the trip. The 3 girls went swimming up at the Goofy pool and I even had some time to relax at the adult pool. After pool time, the 3 girls wanted to hang out in our room and watch TV. Tonight was Formal night and we didn’t pack any formal clothes so we decided to try Topsider’s for dinner. Their dinner is not a buffet, but you are seated and get to choose from a menu on what you want to eat. Our friends were headed to Palo for dinner so we asked if their DD wanted to join us for dinner. The answer was yes and all 3 girls were excited that they get to eat together. The dinner was excellent, Chris really enjoyed his steak and I enjoyed my pasta. We kind of had to rush through dinner because the 3 girls wanted to watch the ventriloquist that was starting so we skipped dessert. We watched the Golden Mickey’s and then the girls decided to shop after the show, after shopping it was off to bed. (I warned you there wasn’t much to report on.)

Okay, I have to add one pic:

Day 5 – June 2 Grand Cayman

When I told the girls what our excursion was for Grand Cayman, they were less than thrilled. I booked an excursion on our own (Fat Fish) to take jet ski’s to Stingray City. They were so afraid to go because of the death of the crocodile hunter, but being the evil step mom I am, I made them go anyway! Our meeting time was early, 8:00am. We were scheduled to be in Grand Cayman at 7:30 so I was afraid we would be late. We woke the girls up early for breakfast and then headed to the Buena Vista theatre to wait to be tendered. We got there at about 7:20 and by 7:45 we were the first group off the ship and onto the tender boats.

A short walk to the Hard Rock and we met up with our group, turns out another Disboard family booked the same excursion (they booked the boat because they had a younger little boy) so it was nice to “know” someone just in case something happened! We took a short drive to where the jet ski’s and boat were waiting for us. Quickly picked our jet ski, packed our snorkel gear, put on our life jackets and off we went. Amanda went with Chris and Emily came with me.

First stop on jet ski tour – Sting Ray City
IMG_0149.jpg

Chris was the first to jump off and I was next. While Chris was begging Amanda to jump in and I was trying to also convince Emily to get in. It didn’t take Emily much convincing IF we let her stay on our back:

There was no convincing Amanda, which surprised me since she is our adventurous and outgoing one. This is where she stayed:
IMG_0167.jpg

Now the stingrays scared the heck out of me. I didn’t realize how massive they were. They would swim around you and touch you and once they found out you had food, they would all surround you and climb up your back. That totally freaked me out and from then on managed to keep my distance!

Our guide teaching us how to hold the stingray:

(there is a water drop that makes it fuzzy so I am hoping I can figure out how to get that away somehow)

More stingrays underwater:

It was great to have a one on one tour with Fat Fish. Looking at all the boats with tons of people huddled around their guide, we were away from the crowd and got our very own experience. There was a total of 12 people with us. I would definitely recommend Fat fish.

After about 30 minutes there, it was time to leave Stingray City and back on the jet ski’s. This is Amanda’s only time she actually made it into the water at Grand Cayman. You see, the girls were fighting over whose turn it was to ride with me and making a big scene. Well it was Amanda’s turn and Emily was already sitting on my jet ski so Chris carried Amanda over to mine and had both girls sitting on my jet ski.
IMG_0148.jpg

Amanda lost her balance and fell off the jet ski into the water. Pure panick, I have never seen her freak out like that before. Chris managed to hold it together while both girls where climbing all over him and having a few stingrays swim between his legs while maintaining his balance. We tease her about the only time she got in the water to swim with the stingrays.

Finally everything called down and we were on to our snorkeling spot out in the middle of nowhere and no one around. It was awesome. Both girls did not want to go, so our guide stayed back with the girls. The girls loved the jet ski’s. I came back a little later and hung around in the water and Emily jumped in with me and swam around once I reassured her there were no stingrays, jelly fish, fish, or reefs.

Our time was up so we went back and headed for the ship. We decided to stop and eat somewhere, Chris and I wanted something local and authentic but the girls weren’t buying into that so we ended up having the most expensive lunch of our trip, $100 for 4 people and all we did was get drinks and an entrée. I had fish and chips and the fish was excellent and they had the best fries ever, but still not worth $100. I believe the name of the restaurant was Breezes.

Some very tired girls waiting for lunch:

Wow look, I did end up in some pictures:
IMG_0213.jpg

We made it to dinner that night. Our poor serving team probably thought we ditched them and they were se excited to see us show up! We told them we didn’t show up because we didn’t have formal clothes and they insisted we show up for every night even if we don’t meet the dress attire. Did I mention they were awesome?

After dinner we missed the show because the 3 girls wanted to see Stitch and Stitch’s appearance was for 15 minutes in the middle of the show. Chris took the girls to see stitch and pose with the other characters while I went up to the hot tub. My body was so sore, probably from bouncing around on the jet ski’s and carrying Emily around the stingrays, so I couldn’t wait to jump in and relax. I was alone in the hot tub for awhile and then the Promenade Lounge performer jumped in with me. He must have thought I was a dumb blond after our conversation!

Him: What department do you work in?
Me: Confused, Department?
Him: Ya, what department
Me: Department of Interior
Him: Oh I thought you were a dancer here on the ship.

I felt like such an idiot, but it’s true I work for the Department of Interior! Thankfully, Chris came and saved me and I left with him! The girls went back to our room to play and when we got back to the room we all went to bed.

Our time was up so we went back and headed for the ship. We get back on the jet ski’s and both girls want to ride with me, none of them want to ride with him because they said he was going to fast and they wanted to be with me. So I took both girls on my jet ski, definitely a lot harder to drive with 3 people. The waves were a little more rough on the way back so we were catching more air. Emily was behind me and Amanda behind her. Every time we hit a wave Amanda must have held tightly on to Emily because then Emily would panic and grab on to me tighter and when doing that she would accidentally yank the emergency clip and the jet ski would die. After about 10 times of this happening, thankfully the boat pulled up next to us and took both girls in! Chris wanted to take one of the girls after about the 5th time of it happening but I didn’t want to deal with the fight of who got to ride with me so I was going to keep trying.

I LOVE the pictures of Grand Cayman! I wouldn't get in the water with the stingrays either, but the pictures were cool.

Whatcha up to everyone? It's a cool day at the campground. Expecting rain. Heidi and Chris are here so we will probably have game night.
