Good morning, Barb. It was great getting on this morning to a post from you. Poor Jaymee. We can only imagine what the poor thing is going through and feeling. Heidi has actually been staying with Chris's sister in FL. They are driving to Orlando today to catch the plane. That is why she was unsure if she could meet up with Julie.

Today is dentist day for both Ted and I. I am having a couple of old fillings refilled and one new crown. Two and one half hours. YUCK!!!Who knows what Ted is having done. My dentist is a huge DCL fan so we talk a lot about that plus he donates his time and service to Costa Rica so he likes to talk about that now. Yup, he is one of those talking to you with al that stuff in your mouth. LOL

Hello all from Disney World!!!! The weather is wonderful, sunny and in the 90's. We are moving slow today since we tried to get the basics... (grocery store, passes for Brooke and Anna Marie) last night when we got here. Got a text from Heidi welcoming us to Florida, but we didn't geta chance to meet up last night Our flight was one of the most turbulent flights I have ever been on. The kids were great, but the I'm NOT a fan of turbulence!!! Flew over LOTS of storms, but when we got here, sun sun and more sun! We did manage to make it over to EPCOT last night, rode spaceship earth and Nemo before we went to DTD for dinner at Wolfgang Puck's Express. They have VERY good food there!!!! Then went grocery shopping after that.
We are unpacked and the room is all set up like home. I have our smelly candle burning so nice in here. We are off to EPCOT today for lunch at Chef de France with Remy from Ratatouille. Then to Soaring and Test track and the others!

JULIE, how fun to hear from you! Soooooo sorry about your flight. At least you made it and your feet are planted firm on the ground.......until Soaring Please tell me more about Wolfgang Puck Express. Ted and I want to find a fast food place when we arrive for our one night stay at the Swan. I want to explore and not worry about a fancy dinner. Your remark about going grocery shopping made me realize that I need to find a way to get a 12 pack of pepsi for our cruise. Is there any place walkable from DTD that you know of? Sure wish I was there with you. Have a BLAST!

Julie: Sorry we didn't get your call last night. I hope the weather stays nice for you. We haven't eaten in France in a long time. We love Wolfgang Puck's Express. They have great pizzas.

Kaleigh's game will probably be rained out again today. The only game she has played was Tuesday and we were the snack parents. Go figure.

Yeah, I decided to join Facebook. Everyone seemed to be on but me.

I had my 6 month mammo this morning and I don't have to go baack for a year! Just like normal people!

Kaleigh's t-ball game was cancelled again. 3 out of 4 games cancelled.

Denine, facebook can be a tad intimidating in the beginning. Then it becomes overwhelming with all the requests. Thanks about Goodings. Is it a grocery store or just like a 7-11? Actually it doesn't matter. We would take a liquor store too. It just needs to be walkable. Funny about the weather holding out for you as snack parents. LOL Back ffrom the dentist. I might end up paying for this visit. I capped my yearly visit today alone.

I've been on the road for work the past few days commuting to Winston-Salem and back each day. That's about 75 miles each way. I just got home. Glad that's over.

Paul and Turner are at hockey practice. Turner's team last season has reorganized and entered the State Games tournament later this month. State Games is like an "Olympics-like" festival for NC state residents. Our local rink is going to be the host facility for ice hockey so it made sense for them to enter. They have practice tonight and Monday night and the the games will be the following Sat. and Sun.

Turner and I have eye dr. appts. tomorrow. Hope all goes well for both of us.

Hope Heidi and Co. had a great trip. Can't wait to hear about her cruise and days in FLA.

Julie - Glad you are posting from Disney. I bet you flew over our storms. We had some wicked storms yesterday. A few rolling in now too. Have a great trip and keep us posted.

Denine - How's Jazzy doing? Stay dry! What's the latest with swim lessons. Are you going to do a few private lessons?

Sandy - I'm glad you got to do the walk last Sunday. Hope you've recovered from it!

Barb - I know you are going to miss Jaymee but it sounds like you'll be with her soon. You have such a close wonderful family. I know that can make it hard when you are not together.

Need to go get a bite to eat and settle down for the night. I'll try to post again this weekend.

Hi guys! Having a nice time, we are back for a little while and then we are off for extra magic hours at EPCOT.

Sandy, if you are staying at the Swan/Dolphin you can go to the mini store at the Dolphin OR you could go to the "stores" at Beach club or Boardwalk. Boardwalk's screendoor also has alcohol too for sale. It's the big "normal" bottles. Goodie's is a car drive from DTD. It's not too far, but you need a car so if you are using disney transportation, Goodies isn't a good option.

Lunch at Chef de Frances was WONDERFUL!! Remy was a cutie!!!! I sent a picture from lunch to Sandy (I think it's upside down, but you can still see it) so if she or Heidi can figure it out, they can post the picture. LOL!!!

On our flight down, one of my sorority sisters from BGSU was on the plane with her family and while we were eating lunch, one of the secretaries from the police station walked up and said hi! SO, our record of "knowing" someone while we are on vacation stays intact! LOL!

Good to hear from you Susan. Yeah, they told us that we were flying over some really severe storms in your area. When you find out more about your trip to Kent State, let us know. Denine and I want to get together!!!

Julie, man, I thought I was on drugs until I turned the phone upside down. LOL I am not so sure any of those places you mentioned have Pepsi since Disney is strictly and I mean strictly coke. That is crazy how you guys bump into people you know while you are on vacation.

Susan, good to hear from you as always. No, not sure if I recouped since the walk. I am headed to the doctor tomorrow so we will see. I can just see Turner getting a full ride to a college/university because of his hockey!! Great university here has hockey. Wow, 75 miles is a long commute. No wonder you didn't want to buy a NEW car.

Heidi has landed. They are headed up to drop off the kids and if they get back here soon enough they will stop and get Sable. Sable is acting weird today. It is as if she knows they are coming.

Hmmmm, I want to meet up with you guys if Susan goes to Kent State. Wonder if there are cheap flight tickets. (I know, only in my dreams)

Good morning! Back home again, got home last night around 9:00pm! Have an appointment today at 10:00 and we get to go pick up our dog from my parents!!!! Came home exhausted and sick. I wanted to go see Joey and Tyler tomorrow, but now I probably can't since I have a cold, I am so bummed.

I am waiting for my weekly call from the vet. His diarrhea is finally gone, but his drooling is worse again, even after upping his pepcid to twice a day. He is still on the liver meds and doing fine in that area. We have to lock him in the bathroom this weekend to get him peeing in his box again. THe carpet cleaner has been getting a workout!

Work was busy as usual this morning.

At least it isn't as gloomy today.

Sure hate getting old. Went to doc today for my foot. He said it was so severe of a sprain that it will take time. He put me on a low dose med for thyroid. Have to go back in 6 weeks for blood work for cholesterol, liver and thyroid. All were high last time. Then in a couple of weeks it is mamm time and bone density.

Denine, I am still laughing about poking.Just don't poke me as I wouldn't get it either.

Headed to the campground for the weekend. Saturday at 10pm our time, we have to make all the ressies for the cruise. I am in the middle of trying to get a private company for Tortola but they are majorly slow with emails. I guess if I don't get my questions answered by Saturday night that I just book a Disney excursion.

Hey all!

Sandy: How's that ankle?

We spent several hours cleaning today. We cleaned almost everything. I was evenmoving furniture around to clean. At least I feel my house is habitable again.

We went to a gradutation party across the street afterward. It started to rain though and got chilly, so we came home. It was only supposed to be
2-5P anyway.

We need to lock Jazz in the bathroom tonight with his litter box and food/water. He needs to relearn how to use his potty ALL the time. This is what the vert said to do. None of us is going to be happy.

We are going to go to early church tomorrow (the first time going since sunday school finished) and then head over to Cedar Point for a while.

We were going to book our flight for September, but the price went up since this morning, so we will wait.

I've got my farm back!

Tonight I have to book our St John excursion on DCL website. Decided to take a private charter for Tortola. No Palo this time so it will be so easy tonight.....as long as the site is working!!!!

Hi guys! Just popping in to see what's going on. We are on an afternoon break. We had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare this morning and then hit MK for awhile. We are going back to MK tonight for extra magic hours, so we took the afternoon to re coupe.

Well, we survived Star Wars Weekend!!! Boy does that bring out a whole new crowd! LOL!! We managed to hit everything but Little Mermaid, but we will go back and do that later. Brooke LOVES Tower of Terror and Makenzie LOVES Rockin Roller Coaster!! G Dog said he will try RnR next time we go later on this week. The kids were chosen for Jedi training and LOVED every minute of it. The day before Captain Jack at MK made all the kids pirates as well. It was called being in the right place at the right time!!!

Hey Denine, when Kaleigh was chosen for Jedi training, did she get anything for it??

Haven't gotten together with Bonnie yet. We will try tomorrow.

Well, that 's about it for now. Going to get dinner around for everyone so we can get back to MK. Have a good evening everyone!

Hi Julie, wow, looks like you are having a different trip this time. First off Star Wars...I bet that draws in a different crowd that's for sure. Jedi training and pirates, fun, fun. Sure if Garry gets around to it when he gets home, I would love to have that web site. With Bonnie taking the red eye and first day seeing the kids, I am not surprised that you haven't seen her yet. I sure hope she has a good time.
