Hello everyone. Bonnie says hi. She came home on Sunday and has been improving everyday. She wants to post but the body isnt up to hanging over the keyboard yet. She goes to the Dr's on Wed to take out the staples, shes looking forward to that one.One of us will let everyone know how things are going there. I think staying at home is getting to her. Shes even watching Opra. Glenn

Tonight, Garry took all of our digital pictures from the Dec. trip and put it onto a CD with the music from the Christmas parade. It really turned out well! This will be an easier way to keep track of all the trips we make picture wise!

I have been out of work for a few days sick and I feel totally forgotten!

We are multiplying! Nice to hear from you Glenn.

Bonnie I'm glad to hear you pulled through ok. Waiting for the
exchange is fine by me.

I have not received my gift yet either.

Jason got in Saturday. Tiffany place in the top 5 out of 38 teams for state. It was pretty exciting.

Only 9 days until we leave. So far I don't think Tiffany has caught on. there has been a few slips here and there but I keep explaining it off by we are talking about the cruise in 2004.

Thanks for wondering about us Sandy......Barb had the flu yesterday and has been busy as usual....

We are finally getting the carpet installed next Tues. Guess it must be my christmas present.....

Barb leaves in 9 days to drive to Disneyworld and we leave l2 days as we are flying.....my grandson is there now and his wife said it is cold at night and in the 70's during the day right now.
Guess I will take shorts and long pants.

Sally, that sounds like the weather we were having. We only wore shorts twice. Make sure that you are prepared for night if you don't plan on going back to your hotel. When it turns cold in the late afternoon it turns fast.

Barb, get well. Sounds like the surprise will work. Can't forget to tell all of us everyones reaction. Sure wish I could see that!

Glenn, thanks for the update. It was quite informative as last time. I love it, Bonnie and Oprah.

Julie, our pics are on a CD but no music. How did Garry do that? That is really cool. How are you feeling? How are the leg cramps?

I am dragging today. Last night we went to see the new
Lord of the Rings movie, Return of the King. It wasn't over until midnight. But it was worth it!! 3 1/2 hours.

I got to finish Christmas shopping tonight, time is running out!

I am here...have lurked here and there but did not quite feel up to keyboarding.

Staples came out yesterday. Return to work 1/12. I now have bronchitis on top of everything else. When it rains it pours.

Glenn has been wonderful...I made him stay in Chicago, he was all packed on Friday when he knew I was going to the ER and when he heard I was going to the OR he was coming out.

Thank you all for the well wishes. My friend Pam gave me Pirates of the Carabean (SP) DVD so I wouldn't become an Oprah junkie!!

Ohhhhh Bonnie, how wonderful to hear from you! My gosh, that is all you need is bronchitis. Coughing and incision healing. That sounds horrible. I am going to the Dr. tomorrow at 11:30. I have had four colds since Staceys wedding of Sept 13th. My chest is now beginning to hurt from coughing.

Barb, a 3 1/2 hour movie. At least it was worth it. I have to hit the bed by 9:30 lately. I am just exhausted. Must be the cold.

Jeanne, my pic of Faith and all of us didn't turn out either. Joyce was hidden by Kristy. I will write Faith and see if hers turned out.

Bonnie, I am so glad you are doing better - RELAX, don't do too much, or anything at all for that matter.

Haven't been posting lately, just too danged busy.

Dinner party for 12 last night: Puff pastry appetizers, stone crab claws with mustard sauce, prime rib, asparagus with burned butter/parmesan/toasted almonds, roasted yukon gold potatoes, broccoli with a ginger red pepper "salsa" and key lime pie for dessert.

Whew.... when I type it all out no wonder I am tired - oh that, and a little wine and champagne didn't help either.

We are leaving for X-mas on Saturday - to Tulsa. What are we thinking about the x-change????

Only a week before we leave....YIPPPEEEEEE!!!

Bonnie I am sososososo happy to see you on the road to recovery. Good timing to wait until after the Disney trip to have this!!

Today we go and get Jaymee. I am sososososo excited. My Mom and Dad are going too. Should be loads of fun!!

Got up at 5:00 and went to Curves. I think I am going to love it. I love stucture and it has lots!!

I am here! I was out of commission the last couple of days. I woke up Wednesday horribly dizzy. The room just kept spinning. I had to have Jerry come home to take care of Kaleigh. I slept most of the time the last 2 days. I think my body just said enough and made me sleep. Jerry went back to work today and I feel much better.

We are expecting 6-10 inches of snow by tommorow sometime. At least we don't live on the East side, they are supposed to get up to 2 feet of snow.

I finished wrapping presents. I put them all under the village I put up in our bedroom, since I don't have a tree to put them under.

I pulled out some stuff to start making cookies later.

Bonnie: Glad you are feeling better. I had pneumonia before I had my appendectomy and was still coughing at the time of the surgery. I feel for you! Get well soon!

Krista: Wow! That was some dinner party! Sounds wonderful!

Barb: I can't wait to hear how your surprise comes off. Hope you are feeling better.

Julie: The CD with music and pictures sounds neat.

Sandy: Let us know what the doctor says.

Happy to have some reading this morning.

Barb, didn't know that you joined Curves. I haven't been for awhile. I just don't want to do it with all this coughing that I have been doing the last couple of months. I think it is a great way to excersize because it is all laid out for you. One week from today. Wow, can't believe it.

Denine, that is how I felt this last Saturday. Ted and Heidi did the cooking for Stacey's party and I slept. That helped immensely BUT then a couple of days later the cold hit. Keep up with your sleep and take vitamin C!

I vote that we all meet at Krista's sometime for a dinner party. That sounded absolutely heavenly. Honestly, how long did it take you to make all that lucious food? You must be a gourmet cook of all time. Maybe you should have your own show on Foodnetwork. Hats off to you.

Going to the doctor in an hour and then hope to come home and finish wrapping gifts. Maybe make some more peanut brittle. Gee, what's for dinner, Krista?

The good news is I GOT MY GIFT today. The bad news is one of you knows me too well. The box says "don't peek" , "no, no", "do not open", "close my eyes" and "don't even think about it". How scary that we all know each other THAT well! Thanks whoever!

Denine, Denine, Denine, I am sooooooo excited. Got your Christmas card today and I love the picture. Can't thank you enough. Wish Heidi was home so that I could show her.

The Doctor gave me antibiotics in hopes it will work. Four times was what made him give it to me. He said my lungs were clear and that my symptoms were very symptomatic of????? If I don't get any better then I am to call him. No name was given to it. I begged him to give me bed rest for a month and all he could do was laugh! LOL. BUT.......he gave me GREAT news. I lost 10 pounds since I last saw him in November. He was impressed that I lost during the holidays and also while on a trip.

What a great day it has been!

Bonnie glad you are feeling better! Just take it slow! Wish we lived closer so I could come and help out.

Sandy, 10 lbs! That is awesome! I'm very happy for you! You lost it and I gained it (well, let's hope it's all baby, not that big, but take all the "extras" and not bad.... LOL!) I'm gald you finally got drugs to help with your cold.

Denine, glad to hear that you are feeling better. I figured that you were under the weather since you hadn't posted for awhile. Are you going to get a flu shot just to be on the safe side?

Barb, I wish I could go with all of you to Disney! I will be thinking of you. Have a great time!

Krista, I'm coming to the next dinner party you have so let me know when and where!

FYI.... Garry saw on the travel channel tonight at 9pm est. Walt Disney World Holidays! I had heard when we were down there that the travel channel was doing a taping for the holidays so this must be it. I can't wait.

Well, I have all my gifts wrapped (well the ones that I have!) Tomorrow I will get the last few gifts. Ususally I don't have the gifts wrapped this early, but Garry has it in my head that I will go into labor either the 24th or 25th! SO I AM TERRIFIED that I will miss the holiday festivities!

We will do our gift exchange after the 1st of the year if that is ok. I figure that Barb and her clan will be back, Bonnie will be back to her old self and it will give us something to look forward to! It that is ok. Feedback please!


OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH, our news.....yesterday the Big Guy got a BIG BOY bed! It is so high! It didn't look that way in the store! I have to use a step stool to climb up onto it. He plays on it and lays on it, but the sleeping thing.... well, hopefully soon.
Ok, just as I typed that earlier, he is now as I type sleeping in it! (it's now 11:30pm)! Yeah to the Big Guy! I put him in at 9:30pm and haven't heard a word! I checked in on him and he is sleeping like a "big boy"! Yeah! Now, only to get this potty thing going.....

Julie, I enjoyed your post. Believe me, you might have gained 10 lbs but it is definitely all baby. I couldn't believe how tiny you were when I saw you. (not talking about baby belly tho). I agree with the beginning of the new year to open gifts. Barb et al will be back and Bonnie will be her old self. Thanks for the insite to the travel channel. Maybe that is who was filming Bonnie, Glenn, Ted and myself on Splash Mtn. If you guys see someone with their mouth WIDE open (Bonnie) and someone else screaming at the top of their lungs with their eyes closed and head bowed down(Sandy) it would be our Splash Mtn. log. A really BIG boy bed for the Big Guy? How cute. I can just picture you running to jump into it. LOL

It is really cold here but looks beautiful because there is a slight coating of frost/snow on the ground.

I tried to post twice last night and they said they took but they didn't. I was trying to let you guys know how wonderful the show was that Garry was talking about. It was on again this morning and I wanted to let you guys know in case you didn't catch it last night. Thanks Julie and Garry! I really enjoyed the MVMVP and WISHES part. Faith told me that it was filmed while we were there.

Ted and Heidi went to Ted's dads open house. My doctor wouldn't let me go because of his age and that he just got over pneumonia. I am home alone trying to get things done. I was going to take a nap but all the work that needs to be done was "haunting" me.

Sandy, I agree with you about the show! I cried when they showed the wishes! I just loved that! We watched it last night at 9pm, I taped it at 12am and then Garry and I watched it again at 12pm today!

I got a flu shot today along with Makenzie. I figured better to be safe then sorry. Plus it was free! (my aunt is a nurse and works for the county and they told her to take what she needs to take care of her family and friends. They are really nice about that). Since Makenzie is around lots of kids in her school, I didn't want her to get it and then give it to the rest of us. And we all know that I can't get sick or the world stops! (At least that what we mom's think, right? LOL!)


My mother thinks that I have dropped. I don't think so, but I don't look at myself that closely. If I have, that just goes along with delivering on Christmas eve or Christmas morning! I have a doctor's appointment Christmas eve morning and if hdistory repeats....... With Makenzie, I was at my apointment and my doctor said that I was 3 cm and 50%, so he induced me that night! With Garry... I had a doctor's appointment the day he was born at 1pm, BUT my water broke at 4:30am that morning and didn't have my appointment. So with that said, it is all lining up for a Christmas baby! Just what I was hoping wasn't gonna happen. Garry is a Christmas eve baby and I didn't want another one, oh well, we will see what will happen!

Well, the "Santa Christmas Morning" shopping is ALL DONE and wrapped! Yeah! Now just a few family members to finish up.
