What a day...to docotrs picked up refill RX first then to MD then more RX...walk in the door and not 10 min. later the doorbell rings...there's Pam!!!! She just stopped by to see if I needed any last minute things...of course sat while I ran around like a chicken with a head cut off!!! Talk about stress~!!

Disney take me away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep it going guys but remember at 150 pages they make us start a new one...who will be in charge of that??????

Well, Sandy won't get this reply until she's back but yes, we had to rearrange due to weight. One case was 42 and the other was 55lbs. We surfed right up to the last minute so a few things were damp and heavy. (and yes, double bagged)

Barb, that is GREAT news on Jason being on his way home, and Jaymee too! How exciting!
Darren, yes, you missed the Momma Mia episode. Laurie (Olando) mentioned the wild time she and her girlfriends had, and I just had to get in on that action and got some girlfriends together for it as well. That was a blast. Lets see, someone else went too.... who was that?

Just here trying to do my part to keep the thread alive.

Darren - I love Alfredo's too! Its alway a hard decision between eating at Canado or Italy while at Epcot!

Regarding Broadway shows........Has anyone seen Hairspray? That is coming to Chicago and we have the DVD and just love it. It is an old one from the 80's and Rikki Lake, Debra Harry and Sonny Bono are in the movie.

I never have had any problem with weight......suitcases that is....
.....sure hope I don't this time although I am going to try to pack a lot less as we will have a washer which I plan on using.....

I went shopping today and got mostly things for myself....Merry Christmas to me. I have wanted a food saver for a long time and decided to make the plunge and get it. Now if I only had food.....

I may be here talking to myself with everyone gone but it wouldn't be the first time....rather embarrasing when you are in a store and think whoever you are with is standing by you only to find yourself alone......

22 degrees and windy here in Wisconsin!! It sure would be
a lot nicer to be with the others at WDW. I guess the rest of
us can only dream.......or look forward to our next trip, right??

Kristen is busy as usual this time of year. We just got her basketball & cheerleading schedules. Who ever made them up certainly wasn't thinking clearly. Every Saturday Kristen has a basketball game that she plays at, then has to cheer for the boys game that is ALWAYS at least 25 miles from where her game is at!! If either team is in a tournament, that will just add more games to the mix. I guess that it is a good thing that I have just one child to chase after. But at least they are busy doing good things...... Lori, I am sure that you can relate!! Isn't Katie cheering too??

Had a fun night last night. Missy and I went shopping. She is racking her brain trying to come up with an idea for a gift to send Mike in Iraq. He is really down right now because of all he has seen, having a close friend die in his arms, not being here for the Holidays. He will be home at the end of March or the beginning of April. I suggested making cookies. I just can't see sending him stuff when he will just have to cart it all back in a couple of months. Any ideas????

Cookies would probably be a great idea!! A little taste of home. Our scout troop just sent Xmas cards to a 20 year old soldier from our community. Maybe if you know some kids, they could also make him cards. We sent probably the most "patriotic" looking Christmas cards !! I figured anything from the kids was bound to make him smile.

Barb, I'm guessing that he already has a camera, but if not, then maybe a disposable to take some pictures of those he has grown close to. This has no doubt been a life experience that he won't forget. (Just look at us cruisers!) On top of that, your idea of goodies to share sounds like it would be appreciated.

Laurie, Katie is excited for Kristen getting to cheer. Katie has only taken clinics put on by the Highschool cheerleaders, so far. Her school doesn't have cheerleading for 5th graders.

Same old craziness here. Went to the annual GirlScout cookie sales training tonight. (Hey Barb, would you like to buy and send a few cases of cookies?) Just kidding. But boy will these girls need to sell a bunch, to reach the goal of going to SanDiego's Seaworld for a dolphin encounter.

Barb - I agree with Lori. A camera would be a great idea!! Also maybe a box of 1 or 2 gallon Ziploc bags to protect some of his stuff from the elements -- Dust, moisture, etc. I don't know what the weather is like there now, but I know that at one time they said they baby wipes were great over there to use for a quick clean up, in a pinch.

Lori -- We have our cookie meeting coming up too!! Now what I am wondering is, how much changes from year to year??? And being the fine leaders that we are, don't we have it down to a science??

Good morning everyone....that is left

Not much going on here....we have been having really nice weather....I am go out and clean a flower bed. Still waiting on the carpet to come in. I have started taking what furniture I can out of the living room..

Has anyone ever gotten little bumps on your fingers that itch like crazy.....if I had been working outside I would have thought it was from that....haven't changed soap or eaten anything different.

Just think this time last week was Thanksgiving and 3 weeks from today is Christmas.....just thought I would brighten up your day!!

I just got to thinking I didn't even check the board yesterday!

Thanks for the great ideas for Mike. His nephew and sister came over to my house Monday night and helped with the cookies. Zack (his 4 year old nephew) had a ball decorating them. He is such a cutie!! Missy had to work so she didn't even get to help. She gets the job of packing them up!

I spent last night shampooing carpets. I want to get the entire house clean clean clean before Jason and Jaymee get home. All I have left is my bedroom then the upstairs is done!

I am going to start packing for Disney. I have been putting it off because I don't want Tiffany to get suspicious. Of course I usually start packing for Disney vacations about 8 months before.

Hi guys. Now, when I think of the 'Stayin Alive' song, I remember Maurice Gibb quoting it in jest, from his hospital bed. I'm glad his sense of humor was intact up untill the end.

Laurie, we sampled the new 'Double Dutch' Chocolate cookies and they are awful! Too much like anything you could buy at the grocery store. We have the 'Lemon coolers' this year too. I heard about them from people who's towns used the other baker last year. They weren't bad, just strong, so if someone doesn't like lemon, they'll hate these. The Aloha chip and Ole Ole are gone now. I liked the Ole's and they were the only low fat option. Oh well, they didn't ask me!

It's SO cold here today! A few flakes, then they just stopped and the cold stayed.

Set up a bookfair at school today, that's what's going on for the next week and a half.

Dick is putting a new hearth down in front of the fireplace....we had small brown tiles and he is putting in large cream colored ones in a diamond pattern like our entry....really pretty.

It is final we are going to Disney in Dec. It was on again and off again, on again and off again and finally on, as Dick purchased our tickets this morning. I think we ended up getting a very good price....$226.04 each round trip from Denver.

Our grandson gets in next Saturday but we won't get to see him probably until the next day or so as Barb has a full van going to get him. I liked it better when he was able to fly into the Springs.
I would rather fly out of the Springs but we usually have to go to Denver....Jaymee has to come in Denver too.

It is pretty lonesome here on the board....I am by my lonesome today but at least we are still alive and kicking!

Wish you all could have been with us. We only caused a little trouble acting up between our tables (a lot of sugar packets flying back and forth).

The cruise was great except for a couple of days of rough weather. Our day at sea on Sunday was cloudy, windy and rainy. And our day at sea on Thursday was extremely rough. Apparently the unexpected tropical storm kicked up the seas (13-20 ft.). A lot of people couldn't handle that day very well.

I've started on the laundry. I may be doing laundry for a week!

I'm glad that you had a good trip and were able to hook up with everyone at WDW !!

Busy weekend for us here. Kristen had her first basketball game of the season and they lost by 2 points. It was tied up with 20 seconds left in the game when the other team scored. Lots of excitement!! We have a birthday party to go to this afternoon for a little while and then I have to work at a basketball tournament at Kristen's school.

Cold and windy here.........luckily we missed getting all of that snow!!!

Welcome 'Home' Susan. It sounds like a great get-to-gether happened. So glad everyone showed up and everything. Who's got PICTURES!

We just got home from the mountains. Katie improved a ton in her snowboarding Saturday. She was really having fun with it. Oh, and that little ANGEL... Katie did the Christmas cards to you all today. At least those are going to happen this year. Now, my relatives who haven't heard from me for at least two years... I might not get those out ... again. See how special you all are

Someone please tell me, what is the postage for sending to Darren and Diana???

Sorry you all didn't hear from me again yesterday. I must have picked up a bug somewhere. I spent the rest of the day sick on my stomach (maybe delayed sea sickness?). I feel better this morning but not quite right. I'll take it easy on food today. As of yesterday morning, I had gained 8 pounds while on vacation. As of this morning after being sick, I have lost 6 of it. Not the way I planned to lose it but I'll take it.

I'll get pictures out to you all this week. Today, I have to go pick up the mail, pick up Stanley, go grocery shopping, do laundry, etc. I'm so glad I took an extra day off to get all this stuff done before going back to work. Turner is back at school this morning. He will have lots to make up.

Well, I'm off to get stuff done.
