Good Morning!!

Did everyone have a great weekend?? Glad to see you home
Susan!

Hey I have a hugh favor to ask. Can we have the gift exchange the next week instead of on the 13th?? I have had problems getting my gift. I know it will not reach my person in time. Plus I will not be home at all on the 13th. Jason is coming into town and we will be out of town all day.

This week we are having a Christmas party, a business get together, going to Denver going to Estes Park and I am making a blanket for a friend to give to her daughter. Phew! I spent the weekend cleaning I still have a few more things to finish up.

DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY........TAKE ME AWAY!!

Barb:smooth:

I'm fine with waiting for the gift exchange. But, I think I am out of town Sat.-Sun. 12/20-21. I could do it on Friday night (12/19) or Sunday night (12/21) when I get back. Turner has an exhibition tournament in Augusta, Georgia that weekend. When the WDW crowd gets back, you all decide and let me know.

AND, BARB, slow down. You are doing too much.

Whatever you guys decide is fine. I can adjust to be available. We should probably wait and see what the vacationer say though........you know they might be fine with it after they unpack, do laundry, apply aloe vera to sunburn, etc..... :rotfl:

I'll be on call for work the weekend of the 20th, so I know I'll be in town. If I'm at work however, I'll be stuck with just access to the board again like last year, I can't get into chat rooms on those computers. I'm fine with that though if the change works out with everyone else. If the opening is in the evening, the odds of me being at home are higher.

Back to work after 2 weeks off!:scared1: I am definitely NOT looking forward to it!

I guess Bonnie should be back now. Denine & Jerry and Julie & Garry should be next. Sandy and Ted get a few more days away.

Everyone have a great day!

Later!

Got in around midnight last night. I strained my back somewhere along the way and I can barely move so I am staying home from work today.

Had a terrific time in WDW. Bought too many pins...and got a wonderful one from Turner...When I mail my secret friend present I will send another pin to Turner...they had the Teddy Bear and Doll weekend and I got an extra pin for you.

It was great to see everyone...I just wish we had had more time together...always seemed to be at different parks or headed in different directions. Lunch was a blast...we all overwhelmed GLenn with our antics...Boy am I glad I wasn't the server!!! Yes, sugar packets, spit balls and straws were flying!! I think the kids were better behaved than the adults!

Everyone will have to watch the Disney Christmas parade. Glenn and I are hoping we got on camera. Also when Sandy, Ted, Glenn and I rode Splash mountain they were filming us coming down and around. I would think they would use us in since we screamed so well!!

Darren...kept missing Lorenzo. Julie and Garry had him as their server so you should be getting a picture.

Well...a bit of coffee and then back to bed...can't sit long with this back. I will read all later.

Wish you all could have been there.

Good Morning!!

The days are counting down until Disney!!!

Julie or Denine- I have reserved a 2 bedroom room for when we are there. I now have 10 people going. When my Mom and Dad decided not to go Jason invited Michelle, she just found out she can go and my parents are going too. I am not sure what to do. They say they can sleep 8. Ideas??? Can you squeeze more in??

Still working on travel arrangements. I am such a "More the merrier person." Not sure how we are getting everyone down there

Thanks for being open to moving the gift exchange.

Hi everyone! We are back! We got home around 3:15pm today. The kids were GREAT on the plane trip down and back! (beleive it or not Bonnie, no tears or screaming from the big guy!)

Had a nice time in Disney! Lunch was a whole lot of fun! Hey Turner, Garry says LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU!!!!!!!!!

Who has not received their secret santa package yet?

Darren, had a great lunch with Lorenzo! He was super! We talked about the cruise ship and how we know you and everything! He is an excellent server!

Well, gonna go unpack now! Will try to get back on later sometime. Tomorrow starts the rountine again, preschool, doctor appointment, registering at the hospital for the maternity floor, and stress test. Busy, Busy, Busy!

Jeanne and Joyce, it was great seeing you again, too bad it was so short.

Will try to post some pictures when I find the camera.

Welcome Back, Bonnie! Welcome Back, Julie, Garry, Big Guy and Makenzie!

The reality of being home is not pretty!!!

Anyone interested in a wine/nog chat tomorrow night???

I know this is a little impromptu for those Disney planners out there, but I was just missing you all, and want to hear all of the Disney scoop, "live".

Krista

I thought the same thing Julie!! We come back and nobody talks to us!!! Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye Julie but the back was killing me and I couldn't think. I also came back with the camera I had for M!!!! Stupid me!

Krista-I could go for a wine chat but not tomorrow night...I have to work on Friday not good to drink then have to work.

Back still hurts. Going to bed really early...as a matter of fact as soon as I finish this!

I am actually glad there aren't too many posts to read. It was very easy to catch up.

We had a great time at lunch! I am still innocent. I only threw a couple of Cheerios despite what some people would tell you.

Darren: We had lunch with the Lauter's with Lorenzo as our server. He was so nice and spoke very highly of you.

We really enjoyed the Christmas party even though we somehow lost Bonnie and Glenn and the Big Guy was having a meltdown and had to leave the parade to go ride some rides.

Julie: I have not received our secret santa yet. Opening on another day is fine with us, although not the 20th.

Bonnie: Thanks for the heads up on the teddy bear pin. I bought one.

Ollie is so glad we are home! The vet sent us a paw print of Shannon in plaster with her name and years and a heart on it. I started crying as soon as I saw it. I think it is the sweetest thing anyone could have done. She also sent a nice card with the Rainbow Bridge story on the front. It is going to be really strange when Jerry goes back to work.

Jerry goes back to work on Friday and I work the weekend. We also have Kaleigh's Christmas party Saturday morning. I am going to leave work 1/2 hour early so we can get there in time for her to cry on Santa's lap.

We're back. It is 10 at night and I am exhausted. Will read everything later. I did hear from Heidi that some of you tattled about lunch. I just want to say "it wasn't me"!!!!!!!!! Good night all.

Welcome back EVERYONE!

Work is just as I left it - INSANE! I am trying to fight off a cold or something. I don't have time to get sick now.

Turner has a hockey tournament this weekend. I hope he has a good weekend. He will be in goal against the other undefeated team.

I can't do the chat tonight but I could Friday night!

Later!

Just trying to catch up on stuff. Still unpacking. We did set up our little tree. I put the ornaments on and Jerry put the garland on. I still need to get out more Christmas stuff from the attic.
Kaleigh is napping and Jerry is outside.

I have not received my new Christmas labels I ordered, so my cards may be a little late.

Sandy: Glad to hear you made it home OK.

Sue: You can't get sick now! You have too much to do. I hope you feel better.

Wow, is anyone else as tired as I am? Ted and I both got sick while away and I think that our bodies are trying to catch up after all the madness. Heidi had the flu before we left so we stocked up with vitamins etc for the trip. I think that helped us not get as sick as her.

Denine, you can tell the truth!! A couple of cheerios????? And Jerry, I suppose you say a couple of cheerios, also.

Julie, I haven't received my secret santa gift yet either. But the mail was stopped while on the trip and it will resume today. Perhaps it will be waitiing. I just know that I can't open gifts on the 21st. Stacey is hosting a family Christmas Party then. Do you guys know how strange it will be to go to your daughters for Christmas? Wow, I am really feeling old now!

I have one thing to say to all of you who haven't had the pleasure of meeting Kaleigh. She is soooo beautiful and sweet. All the characters at the parade LOVED her. I don't think that one passed by without greeting her. And of course, I love her red hair. (go figure!!)

Susan and Bonnie, hope that you are both doing better.

Barb and Sally, the least you could have done was ordered warm weather to greet us here in CO. Wow, you guys are now counting the days. Hope you have a fantastic time like we did!

Krista, it IS time for a wine chat. I say let's do it. Friday is good for me.

Laurie, I am so proud of you posting like you did. Don't wait for another time for all of us leaving. Keep it up.

Where is Jeanne??????

Lori, cookies already? I just finished ours and still have popcorn left.

Still have to do Christmas cards, wrap presents, grocery shop, laundry, cook, clean. Man, I need a vacation!

Welcome home travelers. Hope your health resumes now:rolleyes: . Nothing like a trip to Florida to get you sick, huh? Sandy, that sounds pretty cool actually, to go to your daughters for Christmas. You just gave me something to look forward to (since I'll still be the same age then, too.)

Denine, the paw print was such a meaningful gift. What a cool vet.

Krista, I'm thinking you were referring to Thursday night (tonight)for the wine (or soda!) chat. (I think the key word here is CHAT):p I can come tonight after about 8:30 pm mountain time. That's getting a bit late for you Easterners I know, but if anyone else is up for it, so am I. Sandy, if you are on with them, call me to remind me!

Friday were off to the mountains, again. At least this weekend there will be some SNOW. Last weekend was pitiful.

Better get back to all this stuff I need to do. See ya. Glad everyone made it home OK.
