Good morning all. You guys guessed it. I don't feel good at all and the thought of my fingers typing away didn't sound like fun. Will try and respond to all. If I forget anyone, forgive me.

Barb, I know it is hard going through what you are. We are here for you.

Sally, thanks for going to Curves for me. Can you do it this week also? I plan to start next week again.....after I feel better. Please give Patty our love and tell her she is in our prayers.

Bonnie, that is so sad about Ryan. Hope all is well and he misses the hurricane. Yes, people have dinners here too but when you watch your $$$$ this was the best way to go. We talked about it and decided you shouldn't have to feel like you should feed people dinner to come to your wedding. Not only did we not have dinner but we did not serve alcohol either. I am a firm believer that it shouldn't take booze to have a good time. Stacey was very firm on that also.

Susan, even though I haven't posted I have been worried about you and the storm. Wow, you have been through it before. What a SAD story. How far inland are you?

Jeanne, happy to hear from you. You and your cookies just don't get along. Give Joyce a big hug from Ted and I the next time you see her. Poor thing!

Julie, I have missed the last two BB shows. What has been going on? All I know is that Erica left and that is it. I was wondering if there is a HOH this week. Hope you are doing good.

Laurie, it was wonderful to hear from you again.

Stacey leaves this morning for her honeymoon. I think that she will be just fine with the storm. It was going to get them but now unfortunately for Susan it moved. Got our pictures back from our camera. Some good. Watched the video. That was really good. I am tired of catering food. Time to cook.

Graci is here.

Denine, what a cook you must be! That pie sounded so scrumptious.

Lori, back to the old grind I presume. We haven't heard from you since decoration day or there abouts. My pretty heart is still hanging on the front door. I have to go back a few pages to read about the popcorn again and replace my order.

Diana, sounds like a whirlwind romance to me. Your long distance romance proves that it CAN work.

Let's see. Anyone else??? Can't think of anyone. Krista, where are you??

Sandy you will be glad to know you exercised again this morning....I only have 4 more times I will hit the l5 times this month....

Denine, that is some menu for a baby's party.....her eating habits are very advanced....lol....only kidding.

Well a week from today at this time we will be in the air on our way to San Diego......not too crazy about flying but sometimes there is no other way.

Got all of Jaymees' things finished and she was over to say goodbye last night....she is such a sweet girl and was so excited about going...I know she is going to have a great time at school.
Kids really need that break from family to grow up....

Joyce I am sorry to hear about your dad.....I lost my mom when she was 41 and that was hard but sometimes I think it would be even harder had she been in my life a longer time

I have missed you all so.
Reading just the past few days, I have really missed out.
It would be great if somebody could catch me up to speed, since I can't seem to get all of the posts read. (And actually don't know where I left off):D

We just got home from San Diego for 2 weeks, it was wonderful. Will be going back in October as well. David's company has a company there, so we go quite a bit. Warm and sunny, gotta love it.

Watch out for the hurricane, hope it doesn't affect any of us.

Will check in soon.
Krista

Holy cow, I know that I don't feel well but was that Krista that posted before me??? Or has my fever taken over? I love San Diego. It is so green. Would love to go often like you.

Lori, did you say that an option for the popcorn was Choc covered carmel popcorn for 15.00? If so write me down for one of those being you can't find my kernels. Too bad cuz I buy one every year.

a whole page of posts.... Will not comment on all

Jaymee-have fun at school and enjoy it!!! 4 years from now work for another 48 years!!!! YUK!!

Krista good to hear from you!!!

SMart move on the wedding Sandy!!! Way to go!!! It is crazy what gets spent on weddings...believe me I know!

Jeanne...will call joyce later in the week...got home late tonight.

Haven't heard from Ryan so no news is good news.

I was sick yesterday, last night and this morning...must have been some sort of virus that affected the lymph nodes in my neck ...I almost stayed home from work today but luckily by the end of the day all gone...I felt like I would die!!! Now I know what someone having a heart attack feels. It was awful!! Glenn even called to check up on me, and the weather at work.

Sue...hope you don't get hit...we are getting ready here also...keeping an eye on Isabel.

I can't get it back. Not that I have anything to count down right now, but I miss it.

You all batten down the hatches (sp?) and take care. That was my southern for be careful in the path of Isabel.

Will be watching and thinking of you.

Tell me some tidbits of the past few months.

Krista

Hi Everyone! I hope everyone will stay safe from Isabel.

Good to hear from you Krista! The run down of the past few weeks......(most you know already)

*Sandy's daughter got married

*Our Disney family is growing...... We are expecting a new baby
in Jan. and Susan has Lord Stanley (an adorable new doggie)

* Bonnie and Glenn are still visiting each other

* Turner is doing a great job in school (as well as all the other dis'ers kids)

* Jeanne, Joyce, Bonnie, Glenn, Denine, Jerry, Kaleigh, Garry, me, Makenzie, and the Big Guy are going to be going to Disney the first week of Dec. (Susan, Paul, and Turner will be joining everyone hopefully when they return from their Disney cruise) and we are trying to talk Ted and Sandy into going then too. The more the merrier!

*Joyce's father pasted away

* Jeanne has two new housemates and one is a cat that Dodger Dog isn't too happy to see.

* Sally is going on a 10 day ( or is it a 17 day) cruise through the Panama Canal

*Barb's Jaymee left for college

* Kaleigh's 1st birthday is the 25th of Sept.

*Laurie is busy with Kristen with school and soccer

* Lori is a wild woman! When for a three day( I think that was the length of the ride) motorbike ride and is extrememly busy with the kids and school and working working working!

I think that is about the basic info from the crew! I hope I didn't forget anything. ( sorry if I did, just trying to catch Krista up)

Susan, Makenzie is LOVING school! She can't wait to go! She really has a great time! The Big Guy likes the one on one time I have with him, but he LOVES to pick her up from school. He yells "SISSY!" when he sees her. So I guess he does miss her alittle.

Denine, let me know whenis a good day and time to pick up the car seat. We also have a birthday present for Kaleigh too! It's the big #1 for her! Can you believe it?

Sandy, I hope you are feeling a little like yourself before "pre-wedding" and your cold is getting better

Bonnie, shame on you for going to work this morning! I am VERY glad you are feeling better though. Keep healthy and safe from the storm coming your way.

Susan, what kinds of effects from the hurricane are they predicting for you? Please keep everyone safe and out of harms way.

Jeanne, the ultrasound went well. We decided NOT to find out what sex this baby is. Since we have one of each, it didn't really matter as longa as the baby is healthy and tht is what the doctors say. I have only gained 1/2 pound the first 5 months (don't look like it because the baby has popped out). I have been walking on our treadmill everynight and watching what kinds of foods I am eating. The doctor said that I'm healthy and the baby sounds healthy too so I guess me exercising is doing us both ok.

Well, that is about it for now. Have a super Wednesday everyone!

Krista...Julie neglected to tell you a few things...First and foremost she forgot to tell you that Garry is the bomb!! He is the man of all men!!

Sue's family has grown also ...Lord Stanley is now a member of their family.

Diana is back!!!!

No word from our Darren!!! He should be on his break now also. Will send a quick note to him.

Sandy...take care....I hope you feel better. Get plenty of rest.

Mom...when do you leave? Have fun!!

We leave next Tuesday and board the Hollland America ship a week from today in San Diego......it is a l7 day cruise and we dock Oct llth in Fla. We are going to spend a few days with our grandaughters that live in Gainsville and will fly home the l5th..

It seems funny to think we are leaving in Sept when it is still like summer (was 89 yesterday) and will come home the middle of Oct. just before the time changes and to me that means winter!

It doesn't look like they are going to get the kitchen floor or the carpet in the living/dining room in before we go so I will have to come home to a torn up house for a couple weeks. Then the holidays will be starting and we will be leaving again in Dec. for Disney World. That takes care of another year!

Enjoyed reading the run down Julie....how do you remember all that....this is a very busy family....speaking of busy I better get ready to go to Curves and then today I have to start packing, doing laundry and hopefully get some cleaning done.

Last night I went to a Heritage scrapbook class.....I am making 5 albums...one for us and one for each of the kids...would like to have them done for Christmas but I don't think I will make it as it is not an easy job getting everything organized and arranged in the albums...I had l0 grandparents when I was born and our first child had 7....that is a lot of pages.

Congratulations Julie, that is great!!!

Where is Jaymee going to school?

So many things going on.

Glad Diana is back!

Sorry about our losses.

Looks like Disney in December is the place to be! Don't think we can make it, but will definitely be thinking of everyone!

Have a great day, and those in the path, avoid Isabel, I think she is definitely a scorned woman.

Krista

Krista: Sounds like you had a nice trip to CA.

Julie: You can come by just about any time. We aren't planning on going anywhere this weekend, I have to work in the morning each day.

I weighed in: I lost the pound that I gained plus another. I have now lost 21 pounds! :Pinkbounc

Sandy: I hope you feel better! I didn't want any alcohol at our wedding, but I lost. No one got drunk though.

Bonnie: I hope you feel better!

Sally: We will be in WDW when you get back from your trip. I guess I'll have to wait to hear the trip report.

The little girl that is 2 weeks younger than Kaleigh is having what my friend says is the "Italian baby wedding" for a 1st birthday party. There will be 70-100 people! Lexie's dad is Italian and has a huge family. I can't begin to imagine!

Today is a pretty day. I don't want the nice days to end!

Watch out for Isabel!

I'm getting antsy for documents! Boy does that line ring a bell for this time of year. I booked the Hawaii trip and the tickets and stuff are to be sent out 30 days prior. I counted and that's TODAY! No excursions to book. We'll just fly by the seat of our pants with my very experienced brother-in-law to guide us. Oh, speaking of flying... I'm going to take the kids on either a helicopter ride or a glider flight. Does anyone have experience of preferences between the two? Tell me what you know.

Sandy, sorry I don't know about those kernels, being new to this stuff this year. Get well, so we can go to lunch! I'll ask around about the kernels and put you down for the chocolate.

Krista, good to hear from you!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Susan, how close are you to the coast? Come out and visit US for a few days. We don't know much about rain around here.

Oh and Sally, I haven't gotten an email notification in ages. I forget to check in some days with out them (well, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it;))

SEE yaaaa, take good care everyone
Lori

Good morning.

Sally, I am not getting notified anymore either. I really miss it as it takes so long getting on this way! Wow, sure wish i was you and could be packing now getting ready for a 17 day cruise. I can't imagine how excited you must be.

Susan, where are you?? Hope you post today. Sure am wondering about you and the hurricane.

Bonnie, Joyce, and Jeanne. Will the hurricane affect you?

I am still not up to par. I woke up today knowing that I don't HAVE to do anything and that is a nice feeling. I am still in my PJ's. I am still coughing like crazy but don't think that it will turn into my Sept bronchitis. YAHOO! My voice is doing much better too.

Thanks for writing me down Lori. Now we have to go to lunch to exchange money and popcorn!

Barb, we WILL still get together. Maybe a lunch. The Cheesecake Factory worked out pretty good, didn't it?

Denine, you are doing so good on your diet! I hope Sally keeps exercising for me so I can lose while feeling yucky!

Krista, keep up the good posting! Glad to have you back.

OK Bonnie, are you going to "fess up" to what Garry has on you? "Garry is a bomb, man of all men"?? Must be something good!

JULIE: You ARE the bomb! How do you keep everything straight? I think you should publish a monthly newsletter.

It looks like Isabel will hit us but it should only be rain tomorrow. Next year I was going to wait until the week after Labor Day to go to Nags Head - could you imagine being evacuated with the whole family, cars, food, dogs, etc. & having an eight hour ride home? I am re-thinking next year's vacation in North Carolina.

Can't wait until Disney December!:bounce: :bounce:

It's almost time for the Craft Fair weekend in Ocean City, N.J. My 35th high school reunion is November 1st in Avalon, N.J. Lot's of fun things coming up. This Sunday is a surprise bridal shower for a co-worker.

Hope you all have a good day and avoid Isabel! Toodles:earsgirl:  JEANNE

That might just be a good idea Jeanne! I could do that. Everyone can send me a PM or an email and I can create a newsletter for everyone. I already try to announce everyone's birthdays and anniversaries so adding more exciting info from everyone wouldn't be anymore work for me. Let me know what everyone thinks about it. We would have to come up with a name for the newsletter too.

Since I am on a roll here..... everyone in for the gift exchange this year? I know Sally wants to be added this year. If you would like to be added or deleted from the gift exhange this year please email me and let me know. We had these families from last year:

Lauter's
Denine and Jerry and Kaleigh
Sandy and Ted
Bonnie
Susan, Paul and Turner
Jeanne
Laurie, John, and Kristen
Lori, Ben, Cody, and Katie
Patty and Ken
Barb and Bob, Jaymee, Jason, Tiffany, Missy, Amanda
Diana, Greg, Ian, Alina, Lianna, Annika
Krista, Dave and Clare

We will be adding Sally and Dick this year if my memory serves me correctly. So IF we are all still up for it again this year, please drop me a line and let me know whether to keep your faimly in or take them out.

AND, (seeing Denine's post about her weight loss) Garry lost 8 pounds in the past two weeks and 15 since he had surgery on his knee last year. We are both watching what we are eating and exercising A LOT more! I'd like to see how much I have lost, BUT due to the baby situation right now, I guess I will have to wait until Jan. I do know that I tried on my old shorts before I had Makenzie and the Big Guy just for a laugh AND I could get them on! I couldn't zip them because of my belly, but they fit over my hips and up to my waist so I am hoping that once I have this baby I will be able to wear them again! Well, that is the plan anyways.

Ok, enough from me right now. I'll check back in later!

P.S. Sandy, I didn't watch Big Brother lst night, I have it taped so I am going down now to watch it. I sure hope that Allison or Jun goes tonight !

Julie, me too....I don't care for either one of them but I am afraid if Robert doesn't get HOH tonight he is gone.

I didn't know I wanted to be added to the gift exchange...lol What does it involve?

We are suppose to get a cold front moving in later....it has been rather dark all day and I had the fireplace on....I had to deliver some Creative Memories things this afternoon and I stayed and talked so didn't get much done....seems like I don't need too much of an excuse not to do anything.

I put chicken and noodles in the crock pot so at least dinner is done and then I am going to watch Big Brother but know I am going to be upset with what happens....lol

Aren't you people impressed with how much I have been posting....but I am going to be gone for a month and I don't want you to forget me......

Impossible!
Do I love you...

THANK YOU SANDY AND TED!!!!!!!!!!

I got it I got it!!

What could Garry possibly hold over my head??? He is just such a wonderful guy I can't stop singing his praises!!!!

Mom-you are posting for both you and Barb and Patti alias Patty...good job!!

Julie: Count me in!

Delaware is declaring a state of emergency...we should be ok here in NJ...they are saying tropical storm type winds...we will survive.

Not expecting much of a storm impact here. We are about 180 miles inland. We may have a few widely scattered showers but winds are expected to gust to 40mph later tomorrow afternoon and evening. Looks like our NJ friends (Bonnie, Jeanne and Joyce) will see more of an impact that us just because they will be on the east side of the storm and we are on the west side.

Turner had hockey practice last night and I didn't get a chance to post and then I was little busy with Stanley this morning. Stanley takes up a lot of what used to be our free time. At least Turner and I study spelling words on our long walks.

I went to Weight Watchers today and had missed the last two weeks due to work schedule and I had gained 2.2 pounds. I really thought it would be more since I can't eat the fresh fruits and vegetables right now and I am eating more bread and potatoes. I got to take care of the ulcerative colitis before I worry about the weight right now.

I love the idea of a newsletter and I am definitely in for the gift exchange again. We even need a wine chat again sometime soon. Anybody else interested?

Talk to you all later!
