Have a GREAT time Bonnie! We hope to see you posting (once or twice) just to say hi from Chicago!

Nothing too exciting going on this weekend. We do have a christening on Sunday to go to. It is a Greek Orthodoux christening and I heard that it is going to be nothing like I've ever seen. They have a hall rented for a reception, just like a wedding. It is Garry's cousin who is having their son christened.

Barb, you should come in Dec too! Maybe for a few days since you have plans for later in the month. The Oct. 16th cruise will have some Oct. 19 cruisers on it, Denine and Jerry and Kaleigh, you , Patty, "Mom", and the "hunk"LOL! You won't be alone!

Denine, Garry NEVER pays!;) It's automatic that people pay him compliments! LOL!

Susan, have a great weekend with Lord Stanley! I know new "babies" take up more time then you realize. I will be around to post and keep the board alive!

And counting! I will be there in 52 1/2 hours !!!!!!

Garry: You are Such a wonderful husband to Julie. How lucky she is to have someone like you.

My son stopped by for about 20 mins. yesterday. He was on his way to a gig and coming from a job interview. He is looking for a full time/permanent teaching position. The one he has now is only part time but they are using him as a sub to make it full time. Also this year all music teachers are back so he would be a music teacher subbing for regular classes. He said it went well so keep all fingers crossed.

Not much else going on here. I can't wait for Saturday and the whole week!

I hope everyone has a good weekend! We are leaving Friday morning around 5am for Buffalo airport! I'm really excited to see my Dad and Penny and all my sisters! Weather.com says there is a chance of rain Sat. - hope not since the wedding is on the beach at 7pm!

Have a good time in Chicago Bonnie! ;)

Gooood Morning Everyone!!!!

I want to go to Disney when my Disney family is there in early
December. Since the vacation is a surprise Christmas present we can't change our plans. My reservations are already made. Jason is coming home from Korea and won't be there until later in December. Plus New Years Eve is Jaymee's birthday and I want to be there for her birthday. SOB :(

Next Oct I am sososososos disapointed that we won't be cruising together. But NOOOOOO (snotty tone) Patty says we have to go on the Oct 16 cruise! There is a possibility my other sister Linda will go and a slight possibility my brother and nephews and their families will go. Plus all of Patty's kids and all of mine and my Mom and Dad. If everything works out we would have a heck of a lot of family there. But I still wanna be with our Disney family too!!!

No plans for me this weekend. Bob is working so I think I will scrap book. It is cooling off here some. Hopefully will only be in the 70ies. I love the Fall!

More later

Where is everyone???? Already gone for the holiday weekend??

Diana...have fun with your family!! Travel safely. Glad to see you are back sort of full time...don't you leave us again!!
Hey...I just figured out why your back...you were looking for a new cruisers thread for your upcoming cruise and I'll bet you are checking in with them also!!!

Barb...kinda lonely out here today isn't it?

Laurie the lurker...will say hi to Racine if we drive past it!!! We we be in Wisc tues, wed and maybe thurs if we get our b&b.

look at that counter!!!! Less than 2 days!!!!!!!!!! YIPEE!!!!!!

Bonnie, you're right, I am checking that thread too. BUT it's not the same. Seems the thread gets lost on the 3rd and 4th page alot! Now, we NEVER let that happen!

good weekend all........

<<yawwwwnn>> nothing to report here
my life is wonderfully BORING right now
lurking...
...lurking

Have good trips, Bonnie and Diana.

Other than Stanley we have a lot of boring going on here too! The only real exciting news is that Turner made a 100 on his first spelling test and a 94 on his first science test (and the 94 was only because of incorrrect spelling). What a huge difference this year is!!

I can relate to Diana. The cruisers thread for our cruise just isn't the same either. I lurk but don't have a lot of desire to join in with them.

My Dad had some more blood work done since his iron inffusion but he still has problems. Now the ferratin is a little high and the TIBC is a little low. The HCB is 11.4. The doctor is supposed to call him back tomorrow with the next step. The diagnosis now is hemocatosis (I can't find anything on the internet for that term). I wonder if my Dad didn't get that right from the phone call. Oh well. We'll know more tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great time wherever they are this weekend. I'll be here so I wil post periodically.

Later!

In exactly 24 hours from now I will be in a van on the way to the airport!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We are all booked for our B&B in Wisc!!! I don't think I will tell my mom about that one! LOL!

Diana-if it took another cruise thread to bring you back to us that is ok. The good thing is you're back!!!!

Sue-so sorry to hear your dad is still not up to par. Something doesn't sound right. Has he seen any specialists? Hematology/Oncology specialist? Have they looked for other causes of the anemia?

OOPS...alsome forgot Garry in my excitement. How could I forget such a wonderful person as you! Someone who works as hard as you do!

Have a good weekend...those of you who are left out there.

Denine!!! Where are you?

Laurie the Lurker-Diana is doing better than you with posting!!!

Take care all.

Good Morning!!!!

Happy Labor Day weekend!!! I hope everyone stays safe this weekend.

I have the pleasure of being the only one working today. Everyone else is either on vacation or family emergencies. There is one more girl coming in but that is not until 8:30.

Our intern Leah called last night. She seems really sweet. She should be moving in this weekend.

Tiffany cheered at her first game of the year yesterday. Bob and I were there cheering her on. WHAT WILL I DO WHEN SHE GRADUATES!!!!! AND LEAVES HOME!!!!!! NO MORE CHEERLEADERS!!! NO MORE GAMES!!! I WILL BE A BASKET CASE!!!! YIKES I am getting myself all upset..calm Barb breath.....I still have 3 more years......breath...in and out....

Ok then. I am better now. I have been a mother for so many years the shock of not having kids at home is more then I can take!! There must be a support group for this.

Barb:smooth:

Good Friday morning.

We went to the Great Geauga County Fair yesterday. We were going to go this weekend, but Jerry was looking at the weather and saw that it was supposed to be typical Labor Day weather, cold and rainy. So, he came home about 10 AM and we went to opening day of the fair. We got home about 9 PM. Kaleigh napped for all of 15 minutes yesterday and had an absolute blast! We love watching her have so much fun!

Kaleigh started pulling up on the furniture on Wednesday evening, so another round of baby proofing has to take place.

Hoping to get to the garden center this weekend for some 1/2 price stuff.

Enjoy your trip Bonnie!

Barb: Have fun getting to know your intern. How long will she be there?

Diana: Enjoy the wedding!

Sue: Congratulate Turner for me. That is terrific! Too bad about the pool.

No plans for the weekend. Jerry needs to make up the time for yesterday, but at least he will be home.

I was looking at cruises for the spring. I am waiting to hear back from my TA. I am also pricing a 10 day Southern Carribbean cruise in the spring of 2005.

Lori: Enjoy being bored right now!

Sandy: Hope you are enjoying your time off after the shower!

Surprise, I am back for a few hours. Glad I did come back last night. My gosh, you guys (thankfully) were a bunch of "Chatty Cathy's". Even Garry, popped up a few times. I would have had pages and pages to get caught up on.

Boy do I feel loved. We will try to come. Ted is still wishy washy on it. Did get our quote and it really wasn't all that bad. Heidi isn't sure if her friend can get length of stay passes or just daily passes. We asked for All Star Movies. Believe it or not, it is our favorite. Just feels like home. Couldn't drive as it is way too far for us. Plane fare was 202.00. each which is wonderful. Never paid that cheap.

Barb, you kill me. I crack up everytime I read your posts. After the kids leave home just remember the song "I WILL SURVIVE".

Bonnie, a B&B, huh? Sounds, well, sounds ROMANTIC.

Kaleigh is now pulling up. She soon will be cruising the furniture. What a fun stage. Glad you had fun at the fair. I haven't been to a fair since I moved from SD 30 years ago.

Susan, it can't be that boring now that you have Stanley. I want one!!!!!!! Whaaaaaaaaaa. Your dad is still in our prayers!

Sally, hang in there. My cough from bronchitis usually hangs in there even after the 3 weeks, it just gets better though. Can I fit in your luggage? When Ted retires we plan to take a long cruise such as that. I think that we will take some repositioning cruises. Passport applications can be picked up at and processed at Ted's City Hall. Perhaps, CO SPGS can do it too. I think we will now travel with passports.

Diana, a wedding on the beach. What can I say but WOW! Sure hope the weather holds out. I know that it is to be rainy tonight and tomorrow. We are to have a high in the 60's too. Yuck!

I am glad that you all brought up cruise threads other than ours. I don't personally think that I will set out and start on one for our next cruise. I am so content and happy here. I just don't think that we can meet any nicer people than what we have here. It is unique. Sorry I know that is mushy but we have to be once in a while, right???? And anyway, our cruise will have Jeanne, Joyce and Laurie's family. AND????????????????????????????anyone else?

Better go dry my hair. Heidi took off today so that we can go looking for work clothes for her. She is one that does not have patience so I better get going.

Have a wonderful holiday weekend everyone.

Sandy, I didn't understand what a repositioning cruise was but that is what we are going on....oceanview cabin....l7 days for around $l700 including tax and no tipping....l2 all day stops and 4 days at sea. It is on the Holland America Vaandam built in 2000 . We leave from San Diego and end up in Fla. The pictures of the rooms look wonderful....we sail Sept. 24th.

My cough is getting better and I even went back to Curves this morning....didn't know if I could do it or not but believe it or not I felt better after my 3 times around.

Kaleigh is growing up so fast.....enjoy every minute with her you can, Denine. First thing you know they make you a grandmother...

Have a great time (as if you wouldn't) this weekend, Bonnie.

Susan your baby may be 4 legged but they are like having a baby....our Abby is so cute!!!

Sally: A repostioning cruise is just what it sounds like. The Veendam is ending it's season out west and is repostioning to the Carribbean for the winter. I think that is the ship we were supposed to sail on. You can get some nice prices for the transatlantic repositioning cruises. A cruise ship, ends it's season in the Carribbean/Europe and sails across the Atlantic to it's new itinerary; the Carribbean or Europe.

The 10 day cruise we are looking at spends a whole day in Grenada. So many ships only spend about 6 hours total and you have to tender. Plus, they all seem to leave from San Juan which can be pretty expensive, even if the cruise isn't. We spent a week in Grenada for our honeymoon. We have always wanted to go back, but the airfare is prohibitive.

Kaleigh is growing up very quickly. Ever since she turned 6 months, the time has flown by.

I bought a Princess Aurora costume for Kaleigh to wear for Halloween. I got it off e-bay. It was shipped this morning. It still has the tags and I got it for less than 1/2 price. I can't wait to see it! She is going to be soooo cute!!!!!!!!!!

All this talk about repositioning makes me want to go NOW.

Hi Lori and Laurie.

Glad that your cough is getting better,Sally. It takes so much out of a person. Can't believe you went back to Curves already and three times around at that. Shoot, I have been out for almost 3 weeks. Plan to go back faithfully after the wedding. I think you got a great deal on your cruise. We have looked into them for the future. Ted just can't take that many days off in a row. He and one other guy have been around for 30 years and the dept. just can't seem to run without them. Sad, even his boss has to ask for advice. Can't say anything however because Ted declined the position when it was vacated.

Denine, I think we would love the transatlantic cruise. That is one we checked into. Airfare always gets in the way with everything. Takes a good deal and turns it around.

PHEW!! I thought this day would never end. My head is spinning I have been so busy today.

What is the deal with these people!! Did no one tell them they should be packing for a vacation weekend and not calling their insurance company!

I am 6 minutes away from leaving......

ohohoh now only 5........

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I will probably check in from home. My computer is really slow so when you guys post type really really slow for me...

Ohohoh now I am down to 3 minutes and counting...

have a good weekend Bonnie remember we want details when you get back so you better behave yourself

Barb:smooth:
