Good Morning Everyone!!
Tiffany and I took our first golf lesson last night. It was loads of fun!! I am the worst in the class but hey I am not being graded!
I have been saying for years and years I am going to learn to golf and now my day is here. I love it but I am terrible at it. I think Tiffany is going to be pretty good if she keeps with it.
Going to see Terminator 3 again tonight. Going with friends from church. I have been so busy this week. No time for scrap booking
I have to shampoo carpet for Missy's barbecue on Saturday night and clean the house and shop and cook and buy and wrap her gift and go to the zoo and go to the Y one more time and and and....... Phew what a busy week!

Good morning. Cloudy and raining, again. We don't need anymore rain or storms.
Garry: Sorry you had to work in that horrible storm yesterday morning. Mission Space sounds great. I love Rockin Roller Coaster.

Sue: FInd another doctor for your dad.
Sandy: Kaleigh eats Cheerios, rice cakes, Gerber veggie crackers and Gerber wagon wheels. It has to be dry, and she has to put it in her mouth. She really want to feed herself instead of being fed.
Barb: Your making me more tired than I am!
Jerry got picked. He was 1 of 52 potential jurors and is one of the final 10. It gets worse. It is a boring civil trial with at least 15 lawyers in the courtroom. It gets even worse. The trial is supposed to last 4-5 weeks! Yes, that's weeks. So much for summer. He is going into work at his usual time and then has to be at the courthouse at 9AM. So he will be doing a minimum of 12 hour days for the forseeable future. He gets paid $40 a day for his trouble.
We had to have the springs replaced on the garage door yesterday.
The good news is, I lost another pound. I am up to 19 pounds and am finally, noticably thinner. Some of my clothes are getting too big and I can fit into others.

---Denine, I hope Jerry didn't get picked for a long one. Ben went and said all the right/wrong answers and got picked for a long murder trial a few years ago. Ben had 5 lipoma's removed as an outpatient today. Anyone got a rubber mallet? He's so sore I think it would do us both a favor to just put him out of his misery for an hour or so. LOL

Garry, think I will skip that ride. I remember my dad putting in long days and then expected to show up for court. Not fun! But hey, don't blame the court. Remember, I worked there for a number of years. It is never the Court problem when the judge needs to go golfing.

Susan, hang in there. I was always sooooo frustrated with my dad's doctors. Sometimes I wonder if the medicare patients are neglected. Just stay on top of it so they know that he has YOU!

Bonnie, I keep wanting to bring something up that you said when I was gone. You felt sorry for yourself and wanted to either sing my song or yours. "all alone in my own little chair" Of course I remember it. Rodgers and Hammerstein Cinderella. I own the DVD, video and CD. Heidi's and my favorite. I put that on and sing while I clean. Man, can I ever belt out those songs, alone of course!!!!!
Having a horrible day. The refrigerator broke yesterday so I am throwing away food like crazy. Bought a new one last night. It gets delivered on FRIDAY during my garage sale. Living in a ice chest now along with the 5th wheel refrig. Got up late today and called Ted. While I was talking to him in my PJ's and hair all amess my aerator man showed up without an appt. I hadn't even brushed my teeth. I hurriedly got the outside prepared. After he left I had a half an hour to get dressed and go get my hair cut. After that, I went to get my Suburban's emission test and FAILED. What a bummer. Now we spend more money. Next went to the car wash and they were out of quarters so I left. Then I went to a post office substation and they closed it down. Grabbed a hot dog and diet coke and did a return without a hastle (cool-only good thing) but as I was walking into Sears I stepped in GUM. I am going to take a shower now and hybernate. So long!

Left work early to go home to NJ for the US...my MD office did not fax over the RX for the US therefore they would not do it!!!!!!!!! They called the doctor's office...closed...got the service...very rude to the person from the radiologist...stated no way to contact the doctor...no beeper, cell phone...only home phone #. I then called to see if she got in touch with him...rude to me!!!! They don't know that they are dealing with someone from the Insurance company! They are REQUIRED to have someone available 24 hours a day per their contract/credentialling!!!! They burned the wrong person!!!!! I will contact the networking department tomorrow...heads will roll!!!!! Finished venting. Now I have to leave work again next week !
Sandy-go back to bed!!! You did not have a good day...will we all get a "Vanna" picture of you and the fridge???

My day was ok compared to everyone elses'. I even made to my water aerobics class between thunderstorms. I miss my weight watchers class even though I dreaded weighing in. We start back next Wednesday. I really hope the scales are kind!

Hello all. It's me!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!! It has been a crazy 3 weeks with vacation and then Garry had another week off so we were taking it easy the third week. Now that Garry is back to work (yeah, what a welcome back with the 6 ten hour days!!) so I have to start getting back into my routine too. I have been reading the boards and keeping up to date with everyone.
Well, vacation was great! The first day was a little rough though. It was about 92 degrees but felt like 100. We were staying at the swan for the first night and the room wasn't ready yet. I packed the water sprayers with the fans, but forgot to get them out of the van when we got there, so we walked through EPCOT dying of the heat. The Big Guy was in the stroller with Makenzie (we have a side by side double stroller) and the rest of us walked in the scorching heat. We decide to eat lunch at Alfredo's in Italy since annual pass holders get a 10% discount off of lunches. Well, The Big Guy was REALLY fussy and AnnaMarie was trying to calm him down while I was checking us in. I go to sit down with Garry and Makenzie when Garry tells me that the Big Guy was acting like he was going to throw up so AnnaMarie took him to the bathroom. So I proceeded to go into the bathroom to check on them and as soon as I walk in I see Garry throwing up all over the floor in the bathroom. NICE!!! Well, lunch was out! We decided that we needed to go back to the Swan and get him cooled off. He doesn't do real well in the heat (well at least the first few days of our vacations are a little rough until he gets use to his surroundings). He was really hot and red in color all over and Garry and I knew that he was going to be a real hurting unit if we didn't get him cooled down. I have had heat exhaustion before and he looked pretty close to it. WELL< to make a long story short, we did make it back to the Swan, the Big Guy cooled off and felt 100% better by the evening and we all got to bed early since we were very tired!
Besides two really raining days, we had a few showers on and off, but we took our rain gear with us so we were all prepared for those Florida showers.
I'll type more about our trip later if you guys really want to hear all about it. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge Villas. VERY NICE! We were to stay in a studio, but after a mishap at our "first" check in, we were moved to a one bedroom after a mishap after our"second" check in. On our last morning, we were the flag family for the resort and that was really NEAT!
Glad to see the work week is almost over for most of you. I hope that tomorrow, I mean today, goes better for everyone!

Sandy- I didn't know they had Rogers and hammerstein's Cinderella on CD or DVD. I will have to look for it. It was one of my favorite TV specials when I was younger. Yes I attempt to sing those songs also...notice I say attempt! Wait! Do you have the original or the remake with Brandy? I prefered the original although the remake was good.

Bonnie, sorry about the US. They certainly don't know who they are dealing with!! I have BOTH versions of Cinderella on video and the old one on DVD. Of course the one with Stuart Damon is my favorite. I also have a record, yes I said record, with other stars. I believe it was a Broadway hit before it came to TV as a special, long before Brandy.

No moisture here for quite a while. (at least where I live) When we were camping we were hit with a terrific hailstorm. Made a "hailman". The grass is sure paying for the hot dry weather with water restrictions. It is hard to accept as we have always had the greenest and thickest lawn in the neighborhood. Now we look like the rest. Crab grass is trying to take over. We never had a problem with it before.

My son is still here......Patti and Ken are leaving today and their daughter and family arrived today.
Patti was only here for a couple days and has to get back to work......we spent the day with her and Ken....went to lunch....played golf....out to dinner....back home and played card....got to bed at 3 in the morning. I don't see how they are going to drive back but they said they would be ok. I guess Patti is use to being up late.
Guess what! I am #2 loser....at Curves last month that is. I got a water bottle and pin. Just think if I try real hard I might get to be #1 loser....lol.
Still hot and no rain.....I am losing some of my flowers in containers and hanging baskets....have tried to keep them watered but I guess I would have to water a couple times a day and I am not suppose to be watering at all....only a couple times a week......wonder if we will ever get back to no restrictions.

Oh, well in that case ... It will be an interesting experience!
Bonnie, tell me more about those requirements for Dr's to have someone available to provide an Rx. We have MRI patients now and then who have the same cruddy experience. Either the office didn't fax the orders or the scheduling dept didn't get them to admissions. I have yet to find the crack. We have a hard time getting our 4:30 to 6:30 slot patients scanned when that happens. I'd love to have a good line to tell the answering service when they give me the run around.
Barb, you are so sweet to still be working on that BBQ. Sandy did say awhile back that those proposed dates wouldn't work. Now she's setting it back even more. Boy, what a boob!
Just kidding Sandy! We'll pull something off one of these days. I know Barb, we'll just pay close attention to the wedding details as she spills them here on the board ... and we'll crash the wedding reception! Hey, lets make that our reunion party. Everybody come! Hope she has enough meatballs, my kids really like those. OK, everybody, that's the plan. (Shhh, don't tell Sandy)Julie, sure, give us a trip report! Another day. I am taking tomorrow off. I am in need of some
time away from the job. Missy's party is Saturday and I have
lots to do to get ready. Plus I need to get out and hit some golf
balls to practice!

Almost lunch time. That means almost half my day is over. I am going to the Y after work then we are going to the Zoo.

Another day. I am taking tomorrow off. I am in need of some
time away from the job. Missy's party is Saturday and I have
lots to do to get ready. Plus I need to get out and hit some golf
balls to practice!

There will be NO lights this year at the Studios! I had heard that they were only going to be on New York Street, but when we were down there we asked a few people and they said that they would not be put up this year because they cost too much money to have up. Who knows, only time will tell.
