Wish she would have agreed to a cotton Christening gown...the lady in the fabric store agreed...too hot in August for satin but I am not the mother...only the seamstress. Cotton would have been a lot cheaper also ...satin with an organza overlay on the lower part.

Hot...just came from the laudromat where I washed and attempted to dry my 2 down comforters...what a chore!!

Hot at the pool but the water was nice.

No word from Julie and Garry. I guess they'll be back online tomorrow. I hope they had a great time.

Bonnie - Glad you have a plan in place for the christening gown. Stop worrying about the satin, Olivia will be fine. and she'll look lovely.

Another work wee begins tomorrow. This sure did seem like a short weekend.

We pulled over around 11:30pm and went to bed. I'll let Garry tell you the story of the hotel. We finally got moving again around 10am and finally got home around 5:30pm tonight. Just had to day Hi and that I missed you guys. I'll type more later! Glad to be home!

Welcome back Julie and Garry. Get some rest then tell us all about your trip. Finally, there will be some posting going on!!LOL

Glad to hear Sandy called you, Bonnie. Hope they are having a great time.

Gotta run.

Later!

Here I am!

Busy weekend. I had to work. I made the cheesecake on Saturday, plus running around. Yesterday was the family reunion. I made too much pasta salad and brought a lot home. The cheesecake was attacked! It was already half gone when I went for dessert and got 2 pieces. One for me and one for Jerry. I didn't want him not to get a piece. He says I should sell my cheesecakes.

Bonnie: the Christening dress sounds like it will be very pretty! Kaleigh looked like a little doll in hers.

Julie: Welcome home!

Sue: Yeah Turner!

Just typical Monday stuff here today.

Good Afternoon!!

Welcome back Julie!! Sounds like you had a great time.
I was not able to veiw the postcard for some reason. :(
I forwarded it home to see if I can see it there.

Jeanne-Sorry that your daughter moved. I cried for a week when Jason left for Korea. It is so hard to let them go.

Bob is doing better today. He is back at work. He ate solid food yesterday for the first time in a week. His mouth has hurt so bad because of the sores in it.

Haven't heard from Mike since June 11.

Mom has been really miserable with her tooth infection. She is on a pill that does not seem to be agreeing with her. Hope she feels better soon.

Not much else to report.

Barb:smooth:

Hi this is Anna Marie. Mission Space was great! The take off is the best part of it all. Each person gets a job to do either the pilot , navigator, commander or the engineer. We went on 5 different times! I would highly recommend going on this.

As you can see, Garrry and Anna Marie gave the ride TWO BIG THUMBS up! I stayed back with the little ones. They do have an area at the end of the attraction where there is an indoor playground for the little ones and the older "less brave" adults and kids can participate in group "activity" where you all work together to get your spaceship loaded and complete it's mission before the other spaceship. (they split the large group into two smaller teams that all work together). You can also send space emails to your friends and family. We sent on to Bonnie to send out tot he rest of you, but if she didn't get it, I'll try to send it out from here.

Well, gonna go. Just thought I would check in and say hi before I finish my unloading job. Hopefully I will be ready to tell you all about the trip starting tomorrow.

CHICAGO!!!!!!!! The home of Glenn!!!!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!! Am I excited????? Oh the poor people at work!!!!!!!!! Starting early this time!!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Sorry...back down to earth...for a bit anyway...who needs mission space?

Barb-glad to hear Bob is finally feeling better. Doctor's tomorrow right?

Julie....I forwarded the video on to everyone but they would have to download QuickTime if they don't have it. I had to download it on my computer.

Denine...I figured you were busy which is why we didn't hear from you...wish I could have some of that cheesecake!!!

Garry= I want an adults (well sorta) take on Mission Space...how about it?

I want cheesecake too!!!!

Been busy today and just got home. Wanted to check in and give a quick hello.

Hi guys. Gosh, before leaving I thought about posting my observation that everyone was healthy at the same time, then thought better of it since it would seem like a jinx if someone came up sick. Well, shoot, it happened anyway! Barb, I hope Bob gets completely better very, very soon! Sally and Bonnie, fell well! Jeanne, plan a visit to your daughter soon. (With that extra time you have during the strike)
The campout weekend was great. Lots of really great people in one place (sort of like our secret verandah wine party!) I had a blast riding the bike Fri and Sunday. (My Mom made a no machines rule for Saturday which was fine.) Lots of non-campers came just for the Saturday events, so it was pretty busy. Yesterday after getting the tent and stuff all packed up I was riding pretty seriously, trying out some new techniques that the "Big dogs" were teaching me. I learned to do a tight corner while putting my weight almost all the way on the front tire. Then I learned not to downshift right in the middle of doing it downhill. LOL They gave me a 9.5 for the style of the flight ... I'm pretty lucky not to have landed in cactus! This morning the only part of me still really sore was my shoulder, so I had the girls do an MRI on it. Dang, I seperated my AC joint. No wonder it hurts. I got an orthopedic Dr. friend to look at the films and poke at me this afternoon and he said it will be healed up on it's own in about 7 weeks. Pretty lucky that I had the helmet on. I really snapped me head back hard, it left me neck muscels sore. Lucky, Lucky. AND It was still so fun it was totally worth it!
Back to the housework life for a few days. <yawwwn>
Later all, Lori

Lori... Be careful!!!!! You definitely get the award for crazy!!! At least you live your life to the fullest! I guess. You couldn't get me on a motorcycle going straight let alone all that you do!

Mom...I hope you feel better with your tooth...antibiotics can do a number on the stomach sometimes.

2 days and 12 hours to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's all...Good morning all...have a good day.

Have you heard of Clindamycin? That is what I am on.....I started taking it last Thurs. Sunday I had to leave church because I felt like I was going to throw up but didn't. When I take it I can't lay down for 30 minutes and I get so tired I sleep a couple times a day. Sometimes my stomach hurts.....not fun stuff to take....the dentist said if this doesn't work he is going to do the root canal over....although I don't know what good that will do since the infection would still be there. He didn't have me take anything the first time...just did the root canal with the infection there.

Good Morning!!

Hope everyone is having a good week.

Ins the state of Colorado we have had a major change in auto insurance affective today. We are being slammed with questions and upset people. A lot of answers we don't have yet. The change took place so fast that insurance companies were not prepared. Yikes I should have stayed home today.

Suppose to be 90 today and for the next few days. Hope we get some more rain.

How many are planning on going on the Cruise Oct 16 2004??

Barb:smooth:

Good morning!

Mission Space sounds fun. We would like to hear about it from Garry though.

Sally: Hope you feel better soon!

Barb: Glad to hear Bob is feeling better.

Jeanne: I hope your daughter finds happiness in California.

My mom gave me her bread machine on Sunday. I am currently trying it out. I need to see if my yeast is still good, plus I am just playing. I used to make my own bread, I just haven't had time. Jerry will like homemade bread again.

Lori: You certainly have more guts than I do. Hope your shoulder feels better soon.

Tomorrow is weigh in day. Hoping for good results for everyone. Even those of us that overate this weekend!

Bonnie: It's too bad you are not excited about this weekend.

I have to work Friday morning, then we are having friends over in the afternoon. Saturday we are going to another friends house and Sunday, I am collapsing!

Hello, hello, hello. Just here for a short time today. Just wanted to tell all that I miss you all very much. It is so wonderful sitting around for almost 3 weeks. I am soooo spoiled. It gives me time to realize that I am having withdrawals from all of you. Will read all the post when I get back. Hope everything is going great with each and everyone of you.

Sandy!!!! I miss you!!!! Glad you could post!

Mom...the dentist NEVER should have done that root canal without getting rid of the infection first!!! Take the clindimysin after eating...see if that helps...I can't take erythromysin because it tears my stomach apart. Try calling your regular doctor and see if he has any suggestions to an alternative. Just a thought.

No Denine I am not too excited! I even called Glenn at work while walking to the train this PM!!!! Totally bouncing here!!!

Hey Garry!!! How about your take on Mission Space!

Denine- I have a bread machine...very important that the yeast is fresh. ALthough Glenn likes the beer bread that I make. I get the mix from Tastefully Simple, add 12 oz of beer, mix for 30 secs and bake...so simple yet so good!!!

Beer bread? Ben would probably like that. He likes beer brats.

Good to hear from you Sandy!

Just checking in. No news. (yawn) Life is so boring! Just sitting around looking at the housework that I'm not doing.

Just a quick note tonight.
I really am missing all of you, and once again promise to post more tomorrow. (Have a day off/to myself).
All is well here. Have lost 13 # and am very pleased.
Went out to dinner and got a pair of incredible diamond hoop earrings for my b-day.!!!
Yippeeeee, have been begging for years.

Love the personal notes and e-mails from everyone, and the card from Julie and the gang.
Life is just not the same without you all. So must re-connect.

Hope life is treating everyone kindly. Wish all the best. and I PROMISE to post and read tomorrow.

Good night,
Krista
