Another warm and wonderful day here. Although it is supposed to storm tonight. Tomorrow it is only supposed to be in the mid-seventies.

Bonnie: I hate air conditioning. It gets my asthma in an uproar. I only consent to it when it reaches 90 in the house and only because of the cats.

Everyone is doing great with their weight loss. I have been trying for a long time to lose this weight. If it wasn't for you guys, I probably wouldn't have. I need to lose 13 more pounds and then I will be happy.

Barb: I don't know either.

I have to go to the dentist today to have a filling replaced. I really hate the dentist.

Jeanne: Good luck with work. If you have to, maybe you can get a job with a temp agency. They make good money.

Sunday is the family reunion which I usually skip. But, I have to show off Kaleigh this year. I am making a pasta salad with fresh tomatoes and fresh mozzarella and a marble cheesecake.

I have heard some really good things about Mission Space. Sounds cool. I'd like to hear Garry's thoughts.

I think the temperature hit 100 today. You can't even breath when you go outside (still better than rain).

There is a viral rash that occurs when you have a virus that works it way through your body. It tends not to itch but can appear any where. Sounds like his resistance is really low, especially with the sores in this mouth. Make sure he takes lots of vitamins to help build him up.

The dryer is fixed. YEAH! $117.00 later but well worth it.

WOW! I got to leave work a little early and got to go to the Thursday water aerobics class. I really needed it. The water was wonderful because we have had the heat with 2 days in a row of red ozone alerts. The water was sure refreshing.

Turner is sleeping over at a hockey buddy's house tonight. Tomorrow is his last day of camp and they have a game in the afternoon and invite the parents to come watch. I'm taking a half day off from work and going to it.

I'm so glad to be back online with you guys. Now you can't get rid of me. How many people wake in tyhe middle of the night with a headache and head for the computer to post messages to their friends. The headache did go away after I went back to bed for an hour. Hopefully, no headache tonight. I'm sure the allergies and ozone level have a lot to do with it.

Enough for now. Can't spoil you guys too much...lol!

I don't know if it is the heat or what but not feeling well...couldn't even bring myself to post last night. Glenn says I must really not feel well if I don't post here!

Mom, I could have sworn you said that you all got together to scrapbook and only got 1 or 2 pages done because you were all too busy visiting...maybe I dreamed it! That is why I teased Barb. With Garry gone I have nobody to tease. I will no longeer do it...I will behave.

Barb...go to another doctor...I can't believe you have to wait until Tuesday though! That is a disgrace. Does he have a fever? Is that what is causing the aching? Any tick bites lately? Did he have chicken pox as a child?

I just posted and lost the whole thing!!!!!!!

Bonnie I hope you get to feeling better soon....I wasn't feeling very good last night. I have an infection in the tooth they did the root canal on and he put me on medicine for l0 days and it didn't help much so he put me on a stronger one last night.

I went to bed at nine last night and it is now 5 in the morning. I left Linda to entertain the company...I am feeling much better this morning. This is no time not to feel good.

Bonnie, I don't remember saying anything about scrapbooking but I could have. Barb hasn't been scrapbbooking with us but she does go to the crops and I remember times she didn't do much. She did good at the class....we all got 6 pages done and finished the other ones at home....they were Disney pages and really cute.

When I went to Curves yesterday they had posted the results of the gals in the weight loss class...I did better than I thought...in 6 weeks I lost l2 l/2 inches overall; 9 lbs; and 2 lbs body fat.

It is 5l out now so it may get hot today...we had rain again last night.....love the rain....Linda said it has rained everyday since she has been here but one.....may not let her leave.....

Good Morning!

Bob never did have chicken pox as a child. He is so miserable he got up 4 times during the night to put numbing stuff on the sores in his mouth. He is still not able to eat. I have been running to Mcdonalds just about everyday to get him a raspberry shake and still he looks like he has lost lots of weight. Bob is 6'1 and very thin anyway. His clothes are barely hanging on him. I feel so bad for him. He is getting so stir crazy. He went for a mile walk with me last night because he would not stay home. I later went for a 3 mile walk. I had to sneak out so he would keep his butt in bed.

He had to change primary doctors on our insurance so he has to wait until that goes through before he can see the new one.

Barb -- Do you think that he might have shingles? That is real similar to chicken pox...so I'm told. Let us know what you find out.

Lori -- Thanks for sending pics of the finished art products! They turned out great. Now I can at least visualize what you were talking about. It looks like something that we might try.

Well, I have off today and I am taking care of my cousin's 2 month old baby girl. She is such a doll!! The are so good at this stage.... you just love to just sit there and look at them and wonder what is going on in there little heads??

Another beautiful day here so I am sure we will be outside!!

It is only supposed to be in the mid-seventies, but at least it is sunny. It will get warmer for the weekend. I have to work.

Got through my dentist appointment yesterday. He replaced 2 fillings. Hopefully I am done for now. It is Jerry's turn.

Ordered a bunch of stuff from Steiner. I received a postcard yesterday that said they have improved the product which will result in a 10% increase as of July 1st, but you could still order the other by June 30th. I use the La Therapie line. It is great stuff, just expensive.

Julie heads home tomorrow. I hope they had a wonderful time.

Got to go finish my pasta salad.

Thank you all...feeling much better...I just ate too much junk yesterday and it did not agree with me at all! That on top of the heat did me in big time.

Of course after telling Glenn that I forgot to check the airfare for my sept. trip I dragged myself out of bed to the computer. Thank heavens I did....got the airfare $21 less than it had been....made the ressie right away...woke up this am and checked...it was back up again!!! Of course Glenn then beat me for his August trip out here by $35!!!! I think I will call him a brat tonight!!!

Mom- Great job on the weight and inches loss!!!! Curves sounds pretty good!

Denine- I will gladly take the 70's!!!! You can have our muggy 90's!

Laurie...good to hear from you!

Barb- I hope Bob feels better soon!!! I never had chicken pox either but I had a titre done and I have enough antibodies so I am safe.

Turner's team won the hockey game and they had a great time. They worked so hard but the coaches made it worthwhile with a lot of fun built in. They had a game coaches against the kids yesterday and the coaches picked Turner to be their goalie. The coaches (and Turner) won. That made Turner's day.

Just got home from helping my stepfather get my mom's car in to the shop. Something related to the power steering went wrong on her way to work. Hopefully it is just a hose but they'll know tomorrow when the garage opens. They were planning to buy a new car to replace it in the next few weeks. Oh well. Isn't that how it always happens.

I wonder if the Lauters are watching fireworks about now and starting to feel sad about leaving to go home. I hope she calls tomorrow but part of the day I will be at my nephew's birthday party cookout. I'll have mjy cell phone with me so maybe we'll get together or my record will remain!!LOL Denine knows about my record of NOT getting to meet anyone when they come through Charlotte!!

Celebrate!!! It's the weekend!!!!!

BONNIE: Thank you for forwarding the postcard from Julie & Garry but the music played - no picture! I loved the 4th of July fireworks.

My daughter moved to Long Beach, California, yesterday & I haven't stopped crying since she left. I can't even type about it without crying . She was not only my daughter but my friend & there is just a hole in my heart.

The rain is back today for us. I guess that is sort of good after the hot week we have had. Dry, nice day expected for tomorrow.

Good late morning all!

Callled Jeanne to try and cheer her up. Talked of WDW etc.

Supposed to be cooler today but it really doesn't feel like it anymore. Still too hot for me. I like 70's but at least some of the humidity is gone.

Going to look for Christening Dress patterns. I volunteered to make the Christening gown for Olivia...Am I crazy???? Unfortunately my DIL wants a satin one! For August!!! I prefer the traditional cotton ones. Maybe I can convice her to do a nice cool cotton. We'll see.

I can't wait! 5 days not counting today for my Chicago trip!!! Yea!

I hope others were able to view Julie and Garry...You need to download Quicktime in order to view it...took a little while but it was worth it.

BARB: Tell Bob I got the chicken pox for my 21st birthday. I am ashamed to say I did go out that night and probably contaminated more people.

I am working tomorrow for "critical pay". I better start saving my money in case we strike. I hope if we go on strike it is the week I am on vacation in Nags Head, North Carolina, 7/20-7/27. I won't get paid but at least I won't have to worry about what's going on. I think I am going to say good night and go upstairs, get in bed & watch "Panic Room" which comes on HBO at 8 PM. Back from my nephew's birthday party. Ate more than I should have. But, we had a nice time.

Didn't hear from Julie today but I had my cell phone with me. Maybe they stopped somewhere south of here for the nitght and they'll call tomorrow. I'll be around except for early morning mass and if it is a better day tomorrow like they say, we may go to the pool.
