Good morning! The teeth feel ebtter this morning. Eating dinner was strange but I managed. Bonnie, I am so sorry about your crowns and root. I hope you have some dental insurance. Maybe your medical insurance will cover the oral surgeon.

Welcome back, Julie. We missed you. You may need a sedative before you go to the dentist and have Garry take you to get your tooth pulled! Don't let your kids know how much dentists bother you. You sure don't want them to pick up on your fear.

I think our rain is supposed to end today and the the sun will come back and start warming us back up. We have had way too much rain. I can't believe I said that! Our drought has got to be over. We have had one we winter. We had a lot of local flooding the past couple of days. Our yard is very squishy! Wish I could send some of it to you guys in Colorado.

Turner has hockey tonight so I probably won't be back on til morning.

Later!

Good Morning!

Friday Friday Friday!!! Things always look brighter on Friday.

Does anyone know why Disney is not listing anything under
"Special Events"?? It took them forever to take off the 100 Years
celebration. Long after it was over. But now there is nothing listed. Isn't this the time of year Epcot is having the flower thing?? I wonder if because of the war they are not advertising it or are they not doing anything.

Out of the loop again! When I work the three 12 hour days in a row I feel like I can't catch up on what's going on with you guys.

Work has been very, very busy. It was so busy yesterday that Joyce actually said a curse word - we all looked at her & just laughed! Joyce NEVER curses.

Bonnie told you all that the Nor'easter hit! It has stopped raining now but the cold goes right through you. The weekend is supposed to warm up & I can't wait.

Hope you all have a terrific weekend. Toodles

 :earsgirl: JEANNE

Bonnie: Your poor mouth! Hope you can get everything fixed without having to spend too much money.

Sue: Jerry feels for you! Hope you get used to the braces soon!

Julie: The 25th or the 26th is OK. We never have plans for my birthday. Ugghhh! Number 35!

Barb: This is the 10th anniversary for the Flower Festival. It starts April 25th and goes through June 8th. It will be featuring some of the favorite topiaries through the years. I can't wait. We love to go in May for this reason and the weather! Davey Jones will start off the concerts. I don't know who will be there when we go.

Sandy: Poor Graci! At least Kaleigh's behind is almost healed!

Jeanne and I were down there one May in 1998 and watched Davy Jones twice...the second time we moved closer....he came out to the audience singing and we were singing along...he held the mike up to us and the 3 of us belted it out!!!! Jeanne will probably remember the song. We had a blast!!! And he looked terrific!

Rain is over thank heavens! I gave up on the umbrella in town. The way the wind whips around those buildings it turned inside out.

Barb:
I heard that because of the war and low attendence that hours and events were cut in the parks. You may want to check out some of the other threads on this site to find out what's up.

Quite a day at work. Just found out that I am having a nurse "dumped" on me that has been a problem since she started. Great!!! I will have to document, document, document!!!

Funny thing! I just found out the other supervisor I work with graduated from my rival high school!! And I mean rival! We were west and they were east. First thing I said was " Everybody knows that west is best!!!" Part of an old cheer we did!
Small world considering Phila is about 75 miles away from where I grew up.

That's it....have a good weekend all!

Hi All! Did everyone get my email last night about how anyone can fund out where you live and get a map to your house? I think I did everyone in our "disney" family and the only ones who didn't come up was Sally and Dick, Paul and Susan, and Garry and I. I just thought that was really weird and that "anyone" could find you if they wanted to. If you didn't, let me know and I will send you another email.

Sandy, who is your favorite on American Idiol? Anyone else watch it and have a favorite?

Off to Boston, sorry haven't posted in such awhile.
A lot to tell here about health and such.
I will get on in Boston, I promise!!!

Krista

Have a great weekend all.

Hey Krista...say hello to all my relatives. They are almost all in Boston. Only one aunt escaped to CA!!!!

Let us know about health etc. Hope it doesn't put a damper on Boston.

Yes Julie I got your email...didn't do it yet. I did that once before looking up addresses that went with phone numbers when looking for a new Simply tasteful or tastefully simple rep.

Hello everyone. Long day. I had Colonial Day at my niece's school. That went pretty good. I was in charge of frames. Had to teach the kids how to make frames in colonial days. Was very skeptical but ended up working with a dad that I have known since my niece was in preschool. So that made it fun.

Bonnie, I found a dress today, too. Actually, lots of them. I feel better now. They are more like suits with skirts not slacks. Found all kinds of pastels. Now I have the problem of choosing which one I want to keep.

Julie, I have always leaned more toward Clay than anyone. I thought that one of the girls would have been booted off instead of Ricky. That was a complete shock. I pretty much like all the guys over the girls. Trenyce is pretty good. Susan hit the nail on the head on her advice to you over the dentist. Take her advice. No, I don't believe I got your email.

Have fun in Boston, Krista. When you get home make sure you let us know about your health issues. I have been thinking of you.

Lori, drove past your house today on the way to Southglenn. I always think of you when on Mineral. Not sure which exact house but I just pick and choose. We had dinner at Fazoli's by you today. Wasn't as good today. Pretty disappointing. It was a last minute idea but was thinking I should have called you guys to see if you could meet us there. Oh well, there is always a next time.

Jeanne, I had to laugh at your post about Joyce. Ted even had a good laugh. She is just too cute! Tell her we said hello and miss her.

Davy Jones and 2 dudettes. I can just picture that. LOL!! I always liked him but Peter was my favorite.

Denine, I DO NOT want any complaining from you. I am turning 50 this year and you are upset about 35. Come on!

Hi Barb, did Tiffany get a dress for prom yet? I heard some people talking today at Dillard's about a lot of the girls are going stag this year. Thought of you.

Susan, is there really anything called too much moisture. Don't think so. Would love to have my grass squishy. I know that isn't good either. Mushrooms can have a hayday.

Unbelievable Julie, thanks for the tip about google.com. I sent it on to my brother and a few others. Was thinking about the safety of families with kids and also the elderly. We took off quite a few numbers. Our parents and our elderly friend.

Well...had my bloodwork drawn this morning. My son's old girlfriend from high school did it. She stuck me THREE TIMES!!! I asked her " was I ever mean to you? " LOL! And of course here I am ever the nurse instructing her on the third try how to do it including finding the vien!

Rainy here again!! My feet have developed webs! Just call me Woman from Atlantis!

Baby shower tomorrow. Not many from my side going. Me, mom, my friend Linda and that's it that I know of.

Good morning. What a Friday! We had a MAJOR network problem at work around 10:00. It affected everything! Email, Intranet, Internet, servers. Even our ATMs. NOT GOOD!! Then at 10:30, I get a call at work from Turner. His space maintainer had broken and it was hurting. His dentist office is not open on Fridays so I had to have her paged. She was in surgery so she couldn't met us at the office until 3:30. When I left to go get Turner for his appointment, our network was still down and they were going to start sending non-critical people home. At hockey, I found out from Turner's hockey coach that the network was still down at 4:30 when he left work! I have no clue where it is now - up or down!

Anyway, Turner's space maintainer is repaired and he played VERY well at his games last night.

I hope all is well health-wise with Krista. I have been worried about her. Krista - Hope we hear from you soon from Boston!

We have an Easter family get together today with the kids dying eggs and having an easter egg hunt. Some of the kids will be with their other parent next weekend so we will do it this weekend and then also have a family meal next weekend too. I've got to watch the food intake during all of this. At least the sun is back out and it is supposed to start warming back up today. I should be able to get some outdoor activities in.

Have a great day! Love ya! Later!

Mighty quiet here on the board today! You can always tell a weekend.

No real plans for today. Buying fertilizer and paint. Big deal. With all the home improvement projects the paint is not matching so now we have to paint the front room and hallway. Oh shoot.:)
We have until May 18th to get it done. Do you think we can accomplish that deadline? The girls mislead me. Their graduation is NOT Mothers Day. Whew! But I am still thinking about the reception the day before because we have no idea when the ceremony will be over and knowing me, I would be fretting over who is waiting for us at the house. I am serving deli meat and cheeses, Italian salad, watermelon, chips, dips and any other ideas from you people?

Heidi is off swimming at a rec center with a platonic male friend she has had for a couple of years. Ever since the break up, he has called her several times a day, kept her busy and been by her side. I told her that I could see that relationship blossoming. We'll see. That is EXACTLY how Ted and I got together. I was dating his best friend.

Have a wonderful day. Hope your weather is as good as ours. High to be 77.

Julie, I noticed how easy it was to get a reverse search when I got hooked online while pregnant with Cody, so heck, that was in '95. "Anywho" and "infospace" come to mind. They even would show you the names and addresses of the neighbors of your search. Seemed creepy at the time and I removed my self from a few, but if you are listed in the phonebook, then it's available every year. There are so many sites that gather this info, it would be a job keeping up with removing yourself. I just got used to it, and taught the kids that giving your phone number is the same as giving your address.
I write my kid's first name and school's name on backpacks, coats, etc., instead of phone number. If police needed to get a full ID from that, they could, anyone else doesn't really need to know more.

Sandy, have you driven down Mineral at night around Christmas? Have you noticed a wooden playhouse with lights on it? (If not, you could probably type that info in on Google, and get a map LOL)

Nice day today. Cody's Pinewood Derby car placed 18th out of 74, at the district finals. Not bad, but he was still bummed. He did like the cool patch that every boy who qualified and showed up, received. Next was his soccer game, which they won 6-2, so the day improved.

Have a nice relaxing weekend everyone.
Peace out - Lori

SANDY: I can't believe Peter was your favorite. He was mine too! I would rush home everyday to see The Monkees. Davey Jones only got to sing with Dudette #1 & #2 because Dudette #3 wasn't initiated yet.

Lots of running around this weekend and I am contemplating visiting my Nurse Manager at Univ. of PA. hospital. I really like her & she had a tumor removed from her spine.

Joyce is celebrating Easter this Sunday since we have to work next weekend. My kids will be mooching over all the Grandmom's & Great-Grandmom's houses. My Easter baskets have been filled & wrapped.

Is anybody else watching hockey play-offs? Congrats Colorado!

The weather turned out to be absolutely beautiful today - started with rain, cleared up & just kept getting warmer. Hope you all have a prayerful Sunday. Toodles  :earsgirl: JEANNE

Got lucky today in many ways! The weather was beautiful and the kids had a great time dying eggs, hunting eggs, and playing games.

Turner actually is staying over night at my cousin's house. She has an 8 year-old son and is a single mom. Her son is going to Alabama next week to be with his Dad for Easter. He and Turner get along just fine so they'll have a good time.

Since that happened, Paul and I went to a movie. We rarely get an evening out to ourselves so we went to a non-Disney type of movie. Have any of you seen Phone Booth? I thought it was great!

Lots of yard work planned for tomorrow. I think some of the squishiness dried up today but it will still be wet.

Speaking from hte wife of a PI, you might as well give up on getting rid of all the ways people can find you. There are so many of them. Having an unlisted, unpublished phone number is a start but not full-proof.

Enough from me, I have a free and quiet evening available!

Later!

Hey guys, Susan and Paul are alone. Anybody want to harrass them tonight????

Jeanne, I can't believe that Peter was your favorite, too. I have never known anyone that liked him the best. Interesting! Guess whose motel room I was in once. It was Paul Revere and the Raiders. Cool, huh. Can't remember their names but the drummer came out of the bathroom naked. Fun and crazy stuff to remember.

Who is this wild woman? Where's Sandy? Has the world turned inside out? Where's my stability?

Hey Sandy! I thnik there were more of us that liked Peter best! He was my favorite also! Maybe when we were young we were all afraid to admit it because he wasn't "the cool one."

Who is this wild woman? Where's Sandy? Has the world turned inside out? Where's my stability?

She's been hanging out with us too long!!!!

Real funny guys, that was my wild and crazy days. Now I am tame. You know the meek and mild kind.
