Hope everyone had some fun New Year celebrations!!!

Did anyone make any New Year resolutions?

I will post again when I can, unfortunatly I'm doing 10 shifts in a row at the moment and I'm on a nasty shift pattern eg 4pm - 1am followed by 12pm - 7pm followed by 6am - 3pm , oh I love McDonalds!

Julie - I'm sure your baby will come very, very soon now, just hang in there.

Sandy - It's so funny that Heidi found a picture of me! I saw one myself and (if it's the same one) I must say I think I look a little crazy in that picture! I have some more pictures that I took myself, I'll have to post them sometime.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Looking forward to 2004 & renewing friendships. We had a great time on New Year's Eve. I got a short black dress with a little beading at the top & a bolero jacket & thank God I did because it was called a "black & white" party which meant everyone wore either black or white. My underwear costs as much as my dress! Dress $49.00, underwear $47.00. The next day we went to his grandmother's (which they do every New Year's Day) & I met some of his 37 (he told me 76) first cousins. He comes from a really nice, close Italian family. Things seem to be going very well:happy1:. His new Mortgage Company started yesterday so we'll see what happens now.

HEIDI: Give me the dates, where you want to stay, etc. I can look on RCI & see if they have anything available.

JULIE: Have that baby already!

DARREN: It is so great to have you back on the boards.

SANDY: Joyce loved the picture & added it to her locker photo collection but she still favors the one with Ted pouring the drinks. P.S. Did you notice she had her arm around him when we were all in front of the castle? You better keep an eye on those two.

Need to recuperate from a very busy holiday season - both physically & financially! Miss you all. Can't wait until the Cruise Joyce & I decided WDW in January 2005 instead of December again. Hope the New Year finds & keeps you HEALTHY & HAPPY. Toodles JEANNE

Jeanne, you don't have to tell me to watch out with Joyce and Ted. I already figured that one out!!!!! Glad that you had a good time over New Years. Sure thought about you. Hope you took pictures as I would love to see that dress......and Bobby, too. At least it wasn't 76 cousins like you thought. By the way, I got the pics from MVMCP that you sent. You dirty dog. Loved the pics but the confetti?????? I am still finding pieces. It was funny. As soon as I opened the envelope the confetti actually flew out. It gave me a good chuckle. Who else would have done that but you??? And now, I think of you whenever I find another piece. Too funny!

Darren, please post your pictures. Would love to see them. Wow, your schedule really stinks! I would say "only at McD's" but Disney hours had to have been worse.

Jeanne, Heidi said thanks for the offer and she will check with her boyfriend for the dates.

I, too, can't wait for the cruise. WDW was soooo wonderful but the cruise is always so much more fun. Guess I will have to start looking for beaches. I am sure that I will have two additional people depending on me to do the research, right Jeanne and Joyce? That last cruise was fun. The Dudettes would always ask where we were going and voila, there they were. I think I am the official cruise director.

If anyone is interested Heidi found a site that a woman writes her trip report on. She writes so funny. You find yourself laughing outloud. It is written like in chapters and is quite lengthy but extremely funny. I will link it here.funny trip report Read the ones under the "table of contents". It is numbered 1-47. YOu don't have to read other peoples responses.

Gotta go. A movie is starting. Ted has to snowplow tonight so it is a lazy day.

Now let me get this straight... you need two years of experience in customer service or something more related to the positions you want with DCL, before you can get that job that you really want. Why are you are continuing to beat yourself at McDonald's? If it's going to be hard anyway, you could be working somewhere that will help you get the brass ring! You just BELONG at Disney. You ARE Disney. Maybe some of the acquaintances you made on the ship could suggest the ideal business to work at, that would really clinch that requirement, and be a decent job at the same time.
OK, I know, you already have a couple of Moms, so I'll stop. I would love to see the pictures you took on board, and I REALLY want to hear all about the whole experience, as you did promise us. (Do we need to find that post and hold it over you?) So, you don't really need sleep. Somewhere between those shifts and job hunting (hint, hint) write those memoires. Thanks, (I have to live young and free through you.)

HI all! Glad to hear from you Darren! Loved the music!

Nothing too exciting going on here. I decided to take down all the Christmas decorations today since I figured I wouldn't have the extra set of hands from Anna Marie next weekend. I really hated doing it now, but this year has been a strange and TIME CONSUMING!!!! HINT HINT! I feel like I'm going to explode! Boy am I paying for doing it too! I wasn't in the mood to do it today, but I forced myself and I think I over did it. Oh well!

Jeanne, glad to hear you had a great New Year! Can't wait to hear more about you and Bob! Hey, before it goes any further....... He DOES like DISNEY right? And did you tell him about your adoptive family? He gets all of us too! LOL!!

I am here. I wasn't going top ost today, because I really have nothing to say. I just don't want anyone to be lonely.

Julie: Good thing you took down the decorations yesterday because the weather sucks today. I won't even miss our decorations when I take them down. There aren't that many. I usually hate to take the tree down, but it is so hidden on the buffet in the dining room that it won't matter.

Jerry was doing more research into flying to WDW next month. Can't decide if we want to spend the money on renting a car or not, can't decide on what time to fly out either. Kaleigh misses a nap no matter what. That could be scary on a plane with all those other people.

I'm checking in. We had an early hockey game in Winston-Salem this morning and had to be up at 5:00!

Not much going on here except getting ready to get back into the school routine and getting some office work done for Paul.
