Excellent! :thumbsup2 At a moment like this, you can't help but wonder WWJBD???

OMG :scared1: Our weather has been so freaky, my AC went on last night and the thermostat was set to 76! Took me a minute to figure out what the noise was

Me too!!! a double dip would be nice!!

Oh yeah, now you're talking :cloud9: Or St. Somewhere :rolleyes1

We are always up for a mystery cruise. I would be a tad disappointed if we didn't go west though. We haven't made it to Grand Cayman yet. Once cause we chose to stay on the ship, once d/t a storm. We missed Cabo San Lucas on our Panama Canal trip d/t a storm. It has also been a while since we have been to Coz.

2 more days until we leave!

I've been to GC once on RCCL and LOVED it, which is why we chose Western for this cruise. Crossing fingers that Paula will fizzle and we get our regular itinerary.

Anybody up for an Eastern Caribbean cruise? TS Paula just formed and it is right where we want to be.:scared1::scared1: Not good. Let's all hope it goes away or else we are going East.

Uh-oh ... I have a confession to make - this is our fault! Believe me, whenever DH and I go on holiday, a war starts or the airlines go on strike, a volcanic dust cloud envelops the continent or swine flu strikes. I don't know what we have done - but it IS us. Believe me. :worship: :rotfl2:

:banana::banana:
We are packed too :thumbsup2

And if we have to go East, that is fine by me ;) Just so long as we get to sail, I don't care where we go! :boat:

Okay, I am picking up all you guys' good vibes regardless of the hurricane, so I think I will not panic. Okay then. You're right though, the Eastern itinerary sounds great too! I just wouldn't want to be in Port Canaveral when/if Paula gets there, since that is the only port we can't really skip, can we?

Agreed. Let's get the priorities straight!
1) Safety
2) Booze
3) Food
4) Doesn't matter where we go (even IF we can visit any ports), as long as we're going ;)

Sounds great! I might be tempted to maybe switch 2) and 3) around, but apart from that, I'm right there with you :thumbsup2

We are packed and (more or less) ready to go - only one day of work left, and our plane leaves the ground in roughly 41 hours! :dance3:

I'm really not good at reading these charts (might be because I have never seen one before in my life :rotfl2:). The outer circle is where Paula MIGHT end up? But nobody knows which of these directions it will turn? Am I interpreting that correctly?

Excellent! :thumbsup2 At a moment like this, you can't help but wonder WWJBD???

WW...what? :confused3

Hey Guys!

Let's jut hope for the TS to be a quick moving and it won't effect our cruise. BUT if it does...let just hope for sun ANYWHERE!!! I'd be happy with a double dip at CC for sure!!!!

We got some good news yesterday, my oldest daughter Makenzie was chosen by the Cleveland Browns to be the "kick off Kid" for the Nov. 7th game. She will get sideline passes for her and another adult (I told my hubby to go with her, I will be in our season tickets seats cheering them on!) and she will get to collect the kick off tees for the first half of the game. Plus we get tickets for the rest of the family to go too! We had to sign a release already for the NFL and the Cleveland Browns to use her picture and name in all publications!

We fly out on Thursday morning. All the bags are packed (except for the "hanging clothes". I'm so ready for this! Can't wait to meet all of youin person!

When DH and I first cruised on a 4-night 8 years ago (gasp) we had an itinerary change. I believe it may have been posted online, but we also got daily updates from the crew about the changes, with port excursion options at the desk and in the Navigator.

I personally don't really care about #2, which just leaves all the more for the rest of you :lmao: Just leave me Mickey Bars and I'll be fine.

And we can miss Port Canaveral, I'm fine with that. The people coming after us might not be...

Finished up the FE yesterday and have started to seriously place items on the guest room bed for packing into the suitcase. Mentally we are READY for vacation, but I must get the packing done before we leave!!

I must thank our weather for getting me in the mood. At 6:30 this morning it was 71 degrees in the house and we slept with all the windows open last night! It is expected to be in the mid 90's today and may hit the 100's before the day ends. If I only had a white sand beach and crystal clear water to go along with it!!!! :lmao:

All I can say about your weather is . . .ugh :headache:

The big circle represents the area that could be affected. The smaller circle is the more likely. The speed of the winds determines whether it is a Depression < 39 mph, tropical Storm 39-73 mph or a Hurricane 74-110 mph. The little black circles with the letter in them represent the predicted position and strength of storm.

If they run out of Mickey Bars, they will be in serious trouble. :lmao:

1. Nothing has changed.
2. It is a realatively weak Hurricane at this point, by only 1 mph wind or so.
3. The storm is small. Hurrricane force winds only extend 10 miles from the center, and the storm itself is just about 100 miles in diameter give or take.

If Paula makes the 'circle' that they are predicting and that's this week, all should be fine for us after Sunday. If my house was in the Caymans and I had to make a choice right this second about whether or not to put up my hurricane panels, I'd save myself the hassle. I've been thru much worse. I think all will be fine:)
