Off to watch some Harness racing with a friend of mine tonight. I just might make a wager or two.
My friend and I have been doing this together for maybe 10 or 15 yrs.
We go the first WED of each month
Back in the 90's he and I owned a horse together. We had him for 5 yrs and did quit well with him. Lets put it this way . He paid for himself.

Julie has a (extremely spoiled) horse too, but not a race horse.

Wendy - Very belated, but welcome! I am carrie and will be traveling with my dh, Scott. This will eb our 2nd DCL cruise.
We booked on points and had a room assignment as soon as wee booked.

Woohoo!!! We're in 7627, not far from tehre!

I'm sorry about the HA room. Probably doesn't help, but you can come sit on our couch 2 doors down.

Wow, hard to keep up with everyone! can't believe how close we're getting!

Carrie...Thank you for the laugh!!! Talked to 5 CM at DC and no luck in changing at all...not even to to a Cat. 12 GTY. Heck, I was willing to trade with a GTY 12!!! All of them kept telling me...but the room is much bigger then the reg. rooms, and will seem even more spacious since couch is not there. Yeah...Only cabin on the whole ship with a single chair instead of a couch!!! My first Disney cruise and I won the lottery on that one. Ummmm, wonder how much one of those blow up couchs cost?

Awesome!!! Is Frank by chance giving Mass on Sunday? We try to go to Mass on any vacation if it is available.

Carrie - thank you for the welcome! I still trying to get my head round my deck 2 room - so used to Deck 7 and I can see a lot of you are staying in the area I usually do! disneystick I know it may not be much consolation but the area you are in is lovely and I am sure it will work out.

As far as I know, Frank will be saying Mass somewhere on Sunday morning. Although we've never done this on Disney, most cruise lines are happy to provide a place as long they are able to offer it to their other guests.

Our first 2 cruises (DVC Members' Cruises 2005 & 2007)were on deck 2 and it was fine. I know deck 7 is halfway between things but at the time we didn't know the difference!

I'm kind of hoping it will prevent me from drinking so much free soda as deck 7was too handy for it and we will be able to get off quicker for Castaway Cay too so lots of benefits.

As far as the wedding time, Shanda is supposed to be sending a confirmation page, any day now. All of that info is supposed to be on it. I have no doubt that youll be able to find us.

I agree. I am taking tomorrow off so I can do all of the shopping before the big UK (Kentucky) & UL(Louisville) game on Sat. Both teams have new coaches. I really like the tailgating. The game is secondary.
