I don't know if you will believe this or not, but the excitement gets even worse once you've sailed with Mickey Just look at all the return cruisers here on the thread that can't stop talking (excitedly ) about their preparations. You are in for a real treat and will be spoiled, cruise-wise, forever. I have cruised with a number of other cruise lines and we've always found ourselves saying 'this isn't as nice as Disney' or 'Disney does this soooo much better'!

So true! We have only done 1 3-day DCL cruise. The weatehr was awful. ALl excurions cancelled. Didn't even get to do CC, because it was too rough to dock. Still, Holland America did not compare and we can't wait ot be on DCKL again! On the flip side, I apologize in advance if we caused Paula and we end up not doing CC.

I just got off the phone with DVC member services. She told me that I do NOT get any type of credit/onboard credit for port charge changes/fuel surcharge changes. (she confirmed with DCL). She also told me that on Saturday I wouldn't be allowed to pay to upgrade cabin since I booked with points. Is she right?

We booked via DVC in 5/09 adn we are getting the OBC for fuel.

I love it!!!! Speaking of Jimmy Buffet I had interview # 4 with Margaritaville yesterday. I have never interviewed so much for a job!!! I told them I was leaving thursday for two weeks so hopefully I will hear from them today! I talked to the CFO yesterday and he too was from NY so maybe that will help!!!

For me, it is too early to worry about Paula.

We will be at WDW on Friday and arriving at the terminal Saturday morning. We need to pick up our Owner's Locker.

We will finish packing this evening while DD is at PSR. We will be missing a meeting about her First Communion and First Confession while we are gone, but I am guessing they will fill us in. I wrote her teacher a note that she will be missing the next 2 weeks of PSR and the meeting.

Is it time to leave yet?

DH has a meeting with his new manager in the morning. Just what you want to do on your last day before vacation right? It is his 3rd new manager this year.

I agree - I'm not worrying about Paula at all.

DD might miss her meeting but at least you can go to Mass on Sunday, at sea, if you want. We still don't know where it's going to be though

Just wanted to check in and say hi to everyone. Everything is packed and ready to go!
We work all day tomorrow then spend the night at the airport hotel before flying out Thursday morning. I have no idea how I'm going to get anything done tomorrow!
And thanks for the Jimmy Buffet video! We belong to the local Parrothead Club and just came back from our monthly meeting as a matter of fact. LOL
Oh and I'm too excited to sleep. I should already be in bed since I have to get up EARLY tomorrow but I'm just not tired. I wonder why!? LOL

Well we are all down to it we are all packed. Today we do last minute things. This time tomorrow morning we will be in the Jet Port awaiting our 8:40AM flight to the sun and fun with all our friends and new ones.
