Oct. 16-23, 2010 - Bring Back the Magic

Great, thank you Kathy! I just feel much better knowing beforehand what I have to do when booking online, instead of figuring it out as I go along and wasting precious minutes. I know, I'm pathetic, aren't I? :sad2: I'm only ever truly happy when I've got absolutely everything under control, and that makes it rather hard to relax. I mean, I don't even know my dining rotation beforehand, how can I maintain control under these conditions? :confused3 Gee, I am starting to think I have serious issues here :rotfl2:

But seriously, now: I am sure everything will be fine, if it is not Tulum it will be some other ruins (let's just not mention that to DH, then ;)), and somehow or other I will be able to book either brunch or dinner at Palo. If nothing works online, I am sure one of you will be so nice to point me in the right direction to Palo on embarkation day, won't you? :flower3:

Hi Annika :wave2:

I totally understand about your need to get everything booked. I was going crazy waiting for my booking window as well. I was just talking to my brother last night about dinner ressies for our trip next January! I really enjoy the planning part of the trip which is what makes the DIS so much fun.

We are all in the same boat  regarding the dinner rotation. You'll know your dinner rotation as soon as you get your room key - it's printed on there.

I'm pretty sure you will get Palo (there are lots of 2 person reservations left) but if not, one of us will escort you to Rockin' Bar D as soon as we board. :flower3:

Good Morning All

Well we are having some company today. Joanne and Roger are stopping by to vist . They have been up in Canada to vist his parents so on there way back to Boston to catch there flight back to Fla they are coming through Maine. I have an Idea we will be taking them to LL Bean. Joanne hinted she wanted to go HA HA. Roger and I will just follow HA HA.

We are booked there for our day in Cozumel...there are 8 of us, 4 adults and 4 kids ranging in age from 7-14. Tripadvisor has nothing but extremely positive reviews about the resort and the limit of 100 people makes it a nice day when there are over 12,000 cruisers in port!:sad2:

Those who are thinking about Stingray City in Cayman...its' a must! :thumbsup2 We have done it twice and it is an amazign experience, and the site is world famous to boot.

Hi everyone! Checking back in to see how your Monday is going!

We're well under way with the countdown. I can not wait. Neither can DD, by the way, from when she wakes up to when she goes to sleep she wants the "Mickey Boat". I have the video practically memorized we've watched it so many times!! And yesterday I swear she was ready to walk out the door and go find it!!:rotfl::rotfl:

It's going to be a long 3 months until we go!! DH keeps promising she'll forget, but I don't think so. I've printed off a picture of the boat and laminated it so she can carry it around (mainly because I was tired of watching the dang video over and over!).

Anybody else with excited kids?

Oh, I forgot to ask, is anyone bringing a Halloween costume? Do we know if there are going to be any special Halloween events on our cruise?

DD isn't a princess kind of girl, in fact I think she's going to be Jessie from Toy Story again.

My DS (5) will be dressing up but it will be a pirate costume for the pirate party.pirate:

Not sure if Disney plans on doing any special halloween stuff..that would be great if they did.:wizard:

Does anyone know if there will be Halloween decorations up when we go?

I've done the Magic a couple of times during this same week (a week before Halloween) and have never seen any Halloween decs or festivities/activities. BUT, who says we have to rely on them to do it??? If you want to decorate your doors for the holiday& wear costumes & set a DISboards trick-or-treat night, then go for it!

I'm planning a Halloween themed Fish Extender. I shall post when it's complete!

We have then three year old. All we hear is she wants to go on big plane and mickey big boat. I also have a husband who is just as bad. We are getting anxious to go. We will be going mk on the 14th and 15th. Anybody else going on those dates?

Not sure.I know both my kids will be in school, and the 15th we are leaving early to go to the CIS.My inlaws are picking up the kids to bring to us.
However there is an intersting wrinkle, that will prob drive us nuts well before we leave.

I know that my fiance is driving me nuts about how the date cant get here soon enough.
