I can't comment from experience as this will be our first cruise, but I am really looking forward to our verandah. It may turn out that we will not use it much, but at the moment I can't imagine that, I can see myself sitting on the verandah with a cup of coffee and a book every morning and am so much looking forward to that! (If my body adjusts to the jetlag the way it did on our trip to WDW last year, for the first 4 or 5 days I will always wake up by 7 a.m. at the latest, which I don't ever usually do, so the verandah will be perfect for that.)

I hope the enclosure on our verandah will not be too much of an obstruction (we have one of the "secret verandah rooms" on deck 6, i.e. a cat 7 room that is in reality a cat 6 room). But from all I have read here on the boards, people actually seem to find it cozy. :yay:

:thumbsup2 Plus you can get that cup of coffee delivered to your room :cloud9:

Of course, if you are up that early, you can always go walking with Joanne and my brother Frank. I hear the conversation is very amusing :chat:

My DH alwasy orders coffee the night before to be delivered early in the morning. He sits on the veranda and drinks coffee and watches the sun come up. He will also go up to 10 and watch the sun and talk to Joanne while she walks. I on the other hand am in bed asleep.:)

Im really starting to rethink this cruise thing(OK.My fiance would never let that happen.) I took my son to the MK the other night. When we went thru the turnstyles, his AP worked, and mine didnt. So we walked over to GS, and found that I had found the AP that I had lost.So they printed me a new one.Went back to the turnstyles. This time his didnt work, it threw the same error message that mine got.Back to GS.This time the woman from GS went back with us.His now worked and mine didnt. So she walked back and reprogrammed mine again, and gave us a free ice cream voucher,(Got Mickey of course) and a express pass voucher.Got in, went to ride a few rides, and went over to the Jungle Cruise.Got within 2 boats of getting on the boat, and they started to empty the ride, and pull the boats to maintanance. After about 20 minutes, in which they kept us entertained, found out they had to tow a boat back to the dock.On the way out, after I jsut told my son to keep his in the wrapper to keep it from falling, he thru his wrapper away.5 minutes later, his hit the floor. So had to buy him a new one. There $3.50 in the park if anyone is keeping track/interested.
Next day we went back.Got in the park no problem.Got on the steam trains, and we got stuck at the Main Street Station for 15 minutes.Never did figure out why.The crew was doing something on the side of the engine that I couldnt see. Went over to the WEDway people mover, and as soon as we sat down, it stopped. No reason. It started to work, and my son and I joked about who brought Murphy with us.Ride started and went thru Space Mountain and I realized something was wrong. All of the lights were on and the ride was shut down.

And to top it all of, I tried posting this yesterday, on my dads computer since I was working on my grandmothers at the same time, and needed his, somewhere along the line, his computer logged me off the site, and when I posted all of the info, the site lost it.

I NEED A VACATION!

Anyone, want to see Space Mountain with the lights on? If not skip the rest of this post.

I use 4 or 5 pound Porks Shoulder, Boston Pork Butt whatever is the cheapest in the store. DO NOT TRIM the fat if there is any. I turn crock on to low just put salt and pepper on the poark put in crock. Sometimes I add chopped onions. Take one bottle of beer and 1/2 or 3/4 cup BBQ sauce. I like Sweet Baby Rays. Mix beer and BBQ sauce together and pour over roast put cover on cook on low 8 to 10 hrs. Check at 7 or 8 sometimes I might add a little more sauce. When you take it out just put on plate and shred with 2 forks. You can then put it back in the crock with juices and just serve with more BBQ sauce .

What is everyone with small kids doing for the countdown?

DD has figured out we're doing Mickey Cruise. She wants it NOW (hey, I understand completely, so do I!). But it's hard to explain to a 2 year old exactly how far out we are from going to see Mickey Mouse.

I was thinking the countdown rings, taking paper and linking together and tearing one off every night so she can see that we're counting down to seeing Mickey Mouse.

I'm a scrapbooker, so I also have a Cricut, and was thinking we could do a calendar with Mickey heads to take off every day until we leave.

Any other ideas?

I think the idea with the Mickey heads sounds pretty neat :thumbsup2 Hey, maybe you could even link it in with the potty training thing :confused3

Please keep posting because I can't get enough of your little cutie pie :cutie:

Will have to give this a try. Thanks for sharing :thumbsup2

I think the times have hit WDW like everywhere else. When we were there in the spring The rock-n-roller coaster was down, the monorail was down, thunder mountain was also down.

Cruising is still a great vacation so please don;t give up just yet. I also noticed some cutback's on last years cruise but it was still a fabulous vacation.
