Hey DizzylandDeb I was just wondering if the roll call is current? Have you taken off all the people who have left or rebooked on other cruise?

Also who is in charge of the fish extender? I deleted a bunch of PM's to make room for votes and deleted that PM.

The roll call is as up to date as possible. I have taken off those who have changed their sail dates. Some of the earlier people who haven't posted in a long time . . .I am not sure about. But I have added and deleted as requested. And Pinkygirl is the coordinator of the Fish Extender.

okay I was just curious about the rollcall. It seems like we have a lot of people on there but not a lot of people posting. Maybe as we get closer that will change. Thats right Pinkygirl was incharge of the FE. I must have had a brain fart because I couldn't remember for the life of me. I'll pm her my question once I get my son in bed.

While we were on the ship we rebooked for next year for this cruise. Glad to be joining you!!

Hi everybody,

sorry that this quesion is slightly off topic - but really only ever so slightly since it concerns our stay at Disney World immediately following the CRUISE (see, back on subject again ).

Anyway, DH and I would love to stay at a Disney Vacation Club resort and rent points for our stay. I have done a lot of reading on the subject, yet have never rented before.

Now my question is, since we are only about twelve months out so we might start booking in a months' time if we find a home resort owner:

Does any of you rent points, or know somebody who would be interested in renting points, or have any other useful info or recommendation for me? We are looking at a 10-night stay starting 2010/10/23 (right after the cruise), in a studio, most preferably at the Beach Club Villas (2nd choice would be the Villas at Wilderness Lodge).

I realize this is not really the right board to ask about points rental, and I will also ask at the board dedicated to that subject, but I thought maybe somebody here could help me and I feel more comfortable that way since I already "know" you guys .

On the Magic. We had the option for CC, but we thought about it and talked about it and decided that you dont get a lot of time there to begin with and we didnt want to lose the entire day there.Had there been a second CC day we might have done it. So we chose the ship. Btw, all 3 wedding spots are full now. 1 on the Island and 2 on the ship.

Well, fellow cruise mates we made it back from WDW yesterday. It was touch and go though there for a while. Granddaughter Emily was running the legs off of DW. Not me though....................I could run circles aroung Emily. I'm as fit as a fiddle.................tough as nails..................strong as an ox..............ok, ok............ok who do I think I'm kidding. That show off granddaughter of ours just about killed us. Ran our legs into the ground. For example, Saturday we got to the Magic Kingdom early, Emily wanted to ride Big Thunder Mountain first thing. So we high tell it back in the back to Big Thunder Mountain and we were very lucky, we got right on............no waiting!!! We get off and Emily says, "Lets do it again!!!" (Brat!!) So we run over and get right back on..............again, no waiting!!! We all 3 ride in one seat. It's a tight fit, (DW is getting a little hippy if you know what I mean!!) But you didn't hear that from me!!!! On this second ride DW and I bang heads together...........now both of us have a splitting headache!!! Emily is as happy as a lark. She is having a great time..............at our expense!!! Plus there is some idiot right behind us hollering his fool head off!! I think this was his first time on the ride!!! He was screaming like some girl!!!! (And it wasn't me folks!!!) But anyways we had a great time, we're thinking about going over again around Christmas time. I love it at WDW at Christmas!!!
Well, better get back to work. Talk to ya'll again soon.

I can imagine GD tired you out!

We are older parents of a 2.5 year old and she can sure go…wish I could bottle some of her energy. I’m sure when she gets older, she will have us running from one end of the park to the other. For now we keep her in a stroller for at least part of the time to slow things down a bit…I just don’t have the energy that I used to.
