Hey James, we're coming your way tomorrow for the State Fair. YeeHaw!!! The weather is beautiful, so it'll be fun.

We did have to break down and get a new fridge. The old one was going to cost more to fix than the durned ole lemon was worth.While looking for a new one yesterday, we told the salespeople "anything but a Frigadaire". We ended up with a GE, supposedly made right here in Ky. I certainly wasn't planning on that coming out of our budget as well and now see our WDW trip slipping further away from me. At least I still have the cruise to look forward to.

Ah ... the KY State Fair! Hope you enjoy your stay.

I used to work at GE's plant a long time ago. There's a good change your fridge was made here. Thanks for contributing to my local economy!

Just in from another fun day with Candy and Randy!!!!!!!!!! Today, we all met @ Hollywood Studio's !!!!!!!!!!! IT was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight, we got rained on at the Hawaiin Lau..........Such, FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had the best summer ever this year and if it was possible I would take at least 3 or 4 more weeks. Geoffrey grew up so much during the summer it was great having all that time with him.

I can't believe he started 2nd grade today
He had a great day, loved his teacher etc but the house was sure quiet today.

maybe it's different for me having 2 who can't be in the same room together for more than 5 minutes without getting on each other's nerves LOL I think they need their time apart soon LOL

The two stops at CC was the BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will post more hopefully tomorrow...............I have to say Cozumel was my least favorite port. More to come on that I promise...........

I love the Eastern Itinerary more than the Western.................

... I have to agree... we generally prefer the Eastern port rotations to the Western... and we generally prefer the southern rotations to eastern. AND... we prefer ANY port rotation to none! < chuckles >

On the one hand I have cheerful greetings to our returning globe trotters Pinky and Kristen!!! And on the other hand... I have somber news. Tonite my MIL went into cardiac arrest - was rushed to the hospital ... and my spouse if flying out for Honolulu first thing tomorrow morning. She'll be there in a few hours. Not sure what to expect but the ... ??? Sorry to drop that bit of sad news - but there it is. What can be done? I'm prparing to fly the rest of the family out when the word comes.

Most of our friends have two children also and they've all said the same as you its different when you have 2 because after the first couple of weeks they get on each others nerves so bad you want to send them back to school

As for keeping busy trust me I won't have any problems with that

I'll spare everyone the ... details. However, I can diplomaticly say her kids are all flying in now... except the one who is in Honolulu. My spouse switched to a slightly later flight today as it most likely will not make a difference.

I'm thankful we had a chance to gather most of the kids and grandchildren for a group cruise this past August - that was the Panama Canal REPO with the Wonder ... LA to PC. Plus I'm even more thankful we had the triple Baptism of 3 of her grandchildren in Boston for her to observe when my in laws flew in from Honolulu a few weeks ago. That was the last time our children are likely to see her (while lucid) and it will be a nicer way to remember her for them. The last time she was out otherwise was to attend Sunday services a couple of weeks ago.... or was it just this past Sunday?

We're just not sure about flying in our kids (her grandchildren) now. They start school tomorrow - and it seems we'll be returning again in another week or so. It might be better for the kids ... I just don't know for sure what's best - but we settled on this route for now. This is the path we're on now...

I have to get going now.... a lot of things remain to be done now.

Hi Ho everyone. Sure is quite on here lately. Whusup!!!! I know, school has started so that has taken front seat with everybody. I hope all of the kids got the teacher they wanted. Our granddaughter Emily was sure happy, she was hoping she got this one teacher she had last year, and she did!!!

My spouse Alicia was flying enroute to Honolulu when her Mom passed,

It's OK I guess, as she was not lucid and mostly asleep the whole time if you can call it that. They're making arrangements later today - and I'm told it could take up to a few weeks for the final arangements to be scheduled. As I might have mentioned earlier - we achieved many near perfect moments over these last few years with her. We knew we were fighting something bad and time was growing short... so this was no surprise... and yet it is still supremely difficult. I lost my Mother many years ago - and had grown very very close to my MIL & FIL... they are/were the best a SIL could ever hope for.

Maybe that's more info than needed... but there it is. Thank U for all your prayers and kind thoughts. Remember, one of the last things my MIL was forceful about doing was attending Mass this past Sunday, so her faith was very strong and devout. All is well with her again.

At any rate - I've got to get the kids to thier first day of school now. Plus my spouse sent me an email reminder with a dozen "chores" for me to tend to... as usual < wink > ....
