So, It has been a LOOONNNNGGGG time since I have been on. Apparently I missed alot. BUT, we are still coming as a matter of fact by then we will have someone else with us... I will let Gramma boast about that though

My DS & DIL are expecting another baby So, that means we will have two grandkids with us when we sail!

Okay so company is coming Friday I still have a few boxes to unpack and the office to organize, a birthday party to plan for 20 + kids and a BBQ to organize for the same night as the birthday party. Now guess what I just did...

I took all the cabnet doors off in our kitchen and laundry room, took off the hardware (which is now soaking in tsp) to clean them. Tomorrow I'm going to sand all the knobs and hinges and paint them. Nothing like adding another job to my list. I saw this on one of those home improvement shows. Called Lowes they have the stuff I need so call me crazy I'm doing it before our company arrives. (It's going to look so great. The kitchen cabnets where the only thing not replaced when we had our water leak so they need this updating)

oh gosh!!! that's alot of work...but it will look great when everything is done though!!!! goodluck

I'm sitting here drinking a beer watching Geoffrey and his buddy swim in the pool. It's great having a teenage boy as a neighbor. He is like family and plays with our son and usually wears him out right before bed.

oh that's great!!!!
we have an older boy(11) as a neighbour too and he's here everyday playing with my boys. He's like a big brother to them!!

Third Grade here in NC is when all the testing starts YUCK

Our son will be in third grade when we go on the cruise and the cruise is the same week as state testing. Good thing I asked in advance about him taking the tests at a different time.

oh wow....what sort of testing? I don't think we have that here???

Ok, for those who have cruised before, do you ever meet up with your DIS group before the cruise? We'll be down Friday night...what about meeting at some local restaurant or something to get to know each other? I thought that might be a great time to hand out lanyards and stuff like that? Anybody?

we did on our last cruise...a huge group of us all stayed at the same place (country inn and suites at the port) and we all hung out the night before!!!! it was alot of fun to get to know each other!!!

Actually my husband says that we like our booze in Canada so much because there is nothing else for us to do as we are snowed in most of the year. I know he's an *** but i love him
