I love Jimmy Buffett. We saw him once live in Tallahassee!!! My kids who were at FSU at the time said it was one big sing along with drunk old people!!! It was a lot of fun. I think we were the only sober ones there. Since we were with our kids there was no partying in the parking lot!!!

We can help your being a Buffett newbie. We will turn you into a parrothead in no time. You will be singing along by the time we hit the 3rd Margaritaville. A Caribbean cruise is just not right without Buffett's songs. The Margaritaville in Key West is a little bit of walk to get to but the other two are very close to where the Magic docks or tender drops you off.

Jimmy Buffet is very easy to listen to and you will love it in a minute. The one in Key West is nothing spectacular, the others ones I have been in have been a lot of fun. Key west is just too hot and stinky!! They have great frozen drinks and coconut shrimp!!!

Thank you for all those links, I promise I will do my homeworks and listen to all of them!
(Actually, I just started with Margaritaville and it's nice, really easy listening and puts me very much in a "Caribbean cruise mood"!)

Have fun at your party, Patrick says it was nice today. He had to drive someone to the Airport in Frankfort so he was wandering the streets.

Thank you for the pixie dust! The party was great fun, sunshine the whole time, great food, great party - even though it was quite stressful for us hosts, with 30 adults and 12 really active children
I can't post any pictures unfortunately, I had been meaning to take some but DH had pocketed the camera and, as it turned out later, completely forgot to use it as he was constantly busy at the barbecue

I even managed to fulfil a task that I had been set by our waiter at the Whispering Canyon last year - he had given us lots of those little round Mickey Mouse stickers, and when we told him thanks but we didn't have any kids to give them to, he said "Well, just find some kids and give them the stickers to make them happy".
That opportunity finally presented itself yesterday, and I gave them all to the kids. An hour later, they paraded past us totally plastered in Mickey stickers (a couple even wore them on their noses) waving a few soft toys, chanting more or less rhythmically and giggling like crazy. We then learned that they were all part of the "Mickey Mouse super-house team" confused3, What ever that may be, it sounded like lots of fun )

And today was great too, we sat in the garden with DH's laptop for a TV and watched Germany get on their way to the World Cup quarter finals yay by winning 4:1 against England.
(Well, to be fair it should have been 4:2 if the referee had done a better job watching, but that would still have been a great score .)

Can't get enough of Jimmy Buffet! I've been to a few of his outdoor concerts here, and there isn't any concert like his!
