If you go to vistaprint.com you can purchase a large car type magnet for free just pay shipping. If you did that you could customize it with our group name and cruise dates. You can search to find different types of pictures on it.

good to know!!
but I already put in a request for a design on the DISign thread on this board. they do excelent work with no shipping cost LOL!!!!

We did it on our first cruise for the brunch, dont know if that is the only thing they do it for or not.

I LOVE PALO...

I hope to do it at least 3 times and will get wailisted for more.

the tag game is played with a magnet that is placed on someone's door. Behind the magnet is a list of people with room numbers for you to choose from to tag. Every time you get the magnet on your door you take the magnet and place it on a door of someone who is also playing. We did this on our last cruise and got tagged twice in the week that we were there.

My son says to sign us up for "Tag". He is excited about it.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Summer :sunny:
As of today, we have . . .

Hi everyone! My name is Joanne and my family and I are very excited to be joining all of you on this cruise. This is our first cruise ever and I am thrilled for it to be a Disney cruise. I have been lurking on these boards for a while and finally decided to join. In fact, reading these boards is what made us decide to take a Disney cruise.

Yup, us too! You can put both of our rooms together 6634/35. Thanks! :thumbsup2

I have a few questions about the fish extenders we are doing on this cruise...

1) Do we sign our name on our gift?
2) Do we have a rough idea how many people have signed up so far?
3) How far in advance will we get info on this so we know how many people to buy for?
4) Is there a price limit or do we just do what we want?

Thanks in advance to whoever can answer my questions.

Angela

I know you've been answered but here's some insight...

1) We made little name tags we attached to our gifts that had our disnames on it. We liked seeing who had stopped by and left us gifts too, but it was also fun to get "anonymous" gifts. Either way is perfectly acceptable.

2/3) On our last cruise the sign up deadline was right before the 90 day payment deadline and the final list we got right after the 90 day paymnent deadline. We did have a couple people drop at the 90 day payment mark. Of course we did have some last minute sign ups too. They were added to the bottom of the list with an asterisk so that anyone with extras could deliver to them but of course it was not "required" or expected since they arrived after the offical deadline.
IMO, it worked well. Pinkygirl is an experienced FE runner so I know this exchange will run smooth!

4) Oh totally just do what you are comfortable with. Our last cruise ran the gamut too but I'd say the average was a bit lower around $1-$2 spent per cabin. We had between 50 and 60 participants. For example our gift was simple (but hopefully memorable) and it cost total around $90. (for 60). I thought that was very reasonable! :)

There was not ALOT of Cruise things BUT more than i had ever seen previously.

I so wish i had gotten the CASTAWAY CAY shirt but there was no large only M and XL and i was afraid neither would work for me. they had a good many of those.

And only a few Mexican Rivierra things...which i snagged
And a bunch of 2008 things...
Which i got one of each.

The Mexican Rivierra shirt is goona be too big but i had to have it, my DD showed me how to do this know thing down both sides of a tshirt and it will help i can use it for a bathing suit cover or soemthing.

I was messing around in Elements and thought I'd throw one of these together really quick....

Please use it if you like! :goodvibes

aww you are so kind!!!! thanks :goodvibes

I forgot to add before that on our last cruise we had a deadline as well... I think it was a month or 2 before and after that we did the same, if people had extras for the late comers then they would let them know they would receive something from them.

This is nice. I say we use it. I like the sailor Mickey . . .maybe we could incorporate him as part of our logo?

Had to say hello! We sailed with Dizzi in 2007. She was a big part of that cruise, but I just saw post #1 here. WOW! We sail the Magic on the 10/23/10 Eastern, and will be sure to keep an eye out for holdovers.

Good night to the wishers...

I love your design for the magnet. I agree with everyone we should use that. Thanks for the information on the FE.
