If it wasnt for our vacation points with our DVC i am sure we would be going the route of another cruise line too.

I know that is sad but true.

Thankfully we will use them for several more years for cruises.

The kids love the disney cruises and that is why we bought the DVC is too enjoy the cruises til the gets get older then use them for stuff for me and DH.

Although as soon as we can we will use them for the HAWAII resort and cruise with someone else in HAWAII!!!! YIPEE!!!

THank you sooo much for the countdown you have been so faithful with it!!!

I CANT WQIT UNTIL IT SAYS 52!!!!!!

and anything less than that tooo!!!!

Does any one know, why it takes us oo long to get to KEY WEST?

We dont get in until 12:30

And does any one know if you can see the coast the whole time or do they go far enough out that you dont realize you are traveling the coast of FLORIDA??:confused3

Good question! :confused3 It would only take about 7 or 8 hours if you were to drive from Port Canaveral. I realize the boat is slower but even at 30 miles per hour it shouldn't take that long. I do wish it got there early enough to enjoy breakfast at the Blue Heaven. :sad2:

Maybe someone on the main board would know. They have all the answers over there. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I don't know either why it takes so long to get to Key West???:confused3 DW and I watched the Magic pull in to dock at Key West last Sunday on a webcam at the pier in Key West. :cool1::thumbsup2 The Magic docked at 11:30am and left promptly at 7:30pm. Looked like a nice crowd showed up to cheer her off too.:banana: DW and I wondered if the Magic sounded her horn before she sailed off. Don't know about seeing the coastline of FL while we are sailing to Key West either.
Aa, oh shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, here comes ol' bossman, be vewy, vewy quite.....................................................................thanks he's gone. Better get my b...... back to work. Talk to ya;ll soon.

Whuuut? They don't serve the pecan pancakes and seafood eggs benedict all day? I thought they did.....

OK so what I want to know is how late we *leave* KW. If we leave at 7:30 (admittedly I haven't checked our itinerary for awhile) that isn't even late enough to catch all of sunset (still on EDT til November now, right?) That would be a real bummer. Geez I mean, I even missed the stove races last time we were there.....:rotfl2:

oh...pssst.... I'm BAACK! :surfweb:

Lynn, you should add this to the first post. It has a lot of useful information on it. :thumbsup2
Whoa! Hold up. This was for our last cruise with a different itinerary. :) The normal Western is different. Actually the one we went on wound up being different than this.:rolleyes1 Jen said to give her a couple of days and she'd put one together using current information from the recent Westerns. But keep in mind that information will possibly change by the time our cruise rolls around.:confused3

Okay i will wait.......

But yeah sort of like that..... but i make a chart that has what each of us will wear during the day and then for dinner and if we need to change in the middle of the day for an excursion or something...

Then everyone knows what they are expected to wear and they can just walk around mindlessly while on the cruise and i can be happy when i look and they have on clothes that match.

I usually make the chart in one color, then when i have the clothes, if need purchased, i change the color then when they are packed i change the color again,

YES:banana: I AM CRAZY!!!!

Yeah...I went to do it this morning and I can find the screenshot of it but not the excel file so that means it (was) on the other laptop and I am going to have to redo it. Shouldn't take too long to do though...

It was a huge thing on our last cruise, I made those spreadsheets up and everyone from our meet had them and THEN Disney changed everything around//port times, Pirate Night, Dining Rotations. In the dining rotation line someone from our meet was trying to argue with the CM about the dining rotations...he pulled out the spreadsheet and was telling the guy "No! These rotations are right! Look here!" (and showing the Cm the spreadsheet) And the Cm said to him "Where di you get that???" OMG I wanted to die.:rotfl2:

So yeah things will probably change. Once again we are the first cruise after drydock (which we essentially were last time too, save for the special 3-night) so I will go into it expecting a shakeup. ;)

Ohh...no...I like it! Wow, that is a great idea!

YEs it works out nicely...

My Dh thinks i am crazy but i am very OCD...
And it helps me not be soo crazy actually!!!!!!

I am going to have a hard time this time around not having all of our clothes match every day or night.

The kids think they are too old too match.......:confused3

I think it is nice for the pictures to match:thumbsup2

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!:goodvibes Jen has completed another installment of her trip report!:cool1: Cozumel day is now in the books (finally).;)

oh how nice!!!
how was the Hawaii cruise? DH and I are thinking about doing one later on. How long is the cruise? I've always wanted to go there and a cruise to Hawaii seems the best way to do that LOL

The cruise was 7 days. NCL is the only line that does inter island cruises. It keeps you from spending so many days at sea from the mainland. It was a great trip.

PINKY

We are not "dressing up" either like we have in the past.

We are going to do jeans and soemkind of matching tshirt *pirate theme* and maybe and eyepatch or a head scarf

DD and i have matching jean capri wide legs so she wants to use those, hopefully she fits in hers and HOPEFULLY i will have to take mine in,or at least sinch it with a belt.

She wants boots to wear with them i think i will do flip flops maybe????

My DH and Ds will be happy happy to be able to wear jeans one night!!!

that's what we will do too I think...jeans and a pirate shirt and bandana
flip flops would be so comfy LOL
I find it's too much work and a pain to pack extra stuff. that's the only reason i don't want to dress up. If the boys want to, then I will bring costumes for them, if not then that's fine too...

I totally agree about the coordinating clothes for pictures. It looks so much better that way!!
