hi everyone!!!
I guess I forgot to mention last time that we have early seating for dinner!

Beach club was awesome and Animal kingdom rocks.....

We have now been to Downtown Disney 3 times to try and get in that new air balloon ride but each time it was down due to storms in the area....

Gving it one more try before we leave tomorrow.

Well we are going to Downtown disney to try one last time to see if the air balloon is going up.
Then come back to animal kingdom until check out.

WHHAAAAAA

Its over!!!
I dont wanta go home!!!!!!!!

See ya real soon!!!!!

Enjoy the rest of your vacation! I am keeping my fingers crossed that you will be able to go up in the balloon today :woohoo:

We did get to go up in the balloon.

Cool i guess.

Dh loved it more than i did, but i guess that is what compromise is all about.

Me i would have been happy to sit on the balconey and look out for giraffes until check out............

But he has said he will pack up everything so i can sit for an hour.

Then we are on the road for 3 hours then i can sit again at my pool and stratch my vacation just a tad bit longer.

Hi everybody,

yay, it's Friday again - can't wait for the weekend to finally begin!
By the way, I've been reading up on lots of info and have started grasping the concept of dining rotations :):
Are all of you going to request a certain dining rotation, or are you just going to wait and see what's on your KTTW card and then possibly try to change it once you're on the ship?

How was everyone's week?

Well, we have . . .

Weel, you probably read on our TR that we do request a specific rotation (esp. the fiasco with the last cruise when they changed it alkl up on us).
We have gotten what we requested from the get-go 2 out of 3 times and the third we did get onboard.

As we start getting closer (not all that far from one year away!) I will start watching more carefully how the menus and rotaions are going. I have not paid much attention lately, other than I know the new menus should be on the Magic soon.

Another Friday is here! I hope you all have a great weekend! :thumbsup2

I hope everbody is enjoying their week-end. I know I am. I finished my yard work early today and had a little R & R around the ol' pool this rest of the day. Guess DW and I are taking DGD out to eat Sunday. Nothing fancy, just some good eat'n.
We are planning on going to WDW for DW birthday this July,:thumbsup2:cool1: and then again for my birthday in September. Looking forward to going over.:cool1::yay:
Hey, Annichan, I like the picture of your three kitties. We have three also. Sabrina, a gray tabby, she is 14 our Grand Dam, Chloe, a Main Coon tri colored, she is 4, a little stand offish, And then there is Sunny, he is a yellow tabby, roughly around 3, we think. (He's the baby.........got to love him.) He showed up at our door one day and declared he was home!!! He adopted us. He is quite the ol' lover boy. Loves to be held, lay on your lap, and loves to sleep with us in the bed, with his head on your pillow.
Well better go for now. Hope all are having a GREAT week-end. Talk to you again soon.:woohoo:

we take what we get s far as rotation.

Really i dont care....

As long as i get the late dinner seating i am happy!

If our family does not join us.....which i am sadly almost positive they wont, i would love to join up at a large table with someone.

GOSh i dont want to eat alone ( with Dh ) again this sailing.

By dinner 4 last time we didnt have much to say after spending all day together.

Our kids only come to dinner on formal night and only because they are required to.

Lynn-if you were doing early seating you could eat with us.:grouphug: I promise my two kids are anything but boring.:lmao:

Not sure if we are going to request a certain rotation or not.:confused3 I'm trying to figure out what night we want Palo. I'm leaning toward formal night but that would mean missing the Golden Mickeys.:sad2: I figure we can go with the kids to the regular dinner and get photos and have a drink and appy and then go drop them at the kids club and do Palo around 7:30. How does that sound to you vets?

HI all!

Sorry to have been a bit MIA lately. I have been keeping up with the posts here, but just haven't had much time to post anything myself. Our family has spent the past week on the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Mexico and we are already hungry for another vacation. (yes, I do live and work to vacation with my family...lol)

Speaking of work- I am free for the summer!!
Well, kinda. I have a few workshops to attend but otherwise I am free!

I have been training hard for the 3 Day Walk for Breast Cancer lately. But it's hard to walk in the heat! I have been walking 3-5 miles most days, and usually have one long walk each week (usually 8 miles). I haven't lost a single pound but I am feeling strong mentally and physically. So, I guess that is SOMETHING. lol I am still working on fundraising and beginning to worry that I seriously underestimated this part of this committment! I think everyone is thinking they have plenty of time to send a donation, so very few people have actually donated already. But I need them to commit already but hate to ask. Ugh. Only 18 weeks until the event...so say a prayer and send some pixie dust my way.

As for the info requested...we have late seating for dinner. I think (hope) this will work best for us. I am considering upgrading our staterooms, but as of right now, we are in rooms 6605 and 6603 (I may have already given this info, but I am too lazy to check right now). From what I can tell upgrades at the port are less expensive, but I will probably be unable to wait til then. If we can swing the extra expense, AND can work out the logistics, I would like to have 2 porthole side by side or connecting rooms or one verandah and one inside room for the kids directly across the hall...we'll see.

Anyhoo...hope all of you are well!! :)

I would love to , but we are doing late seating....It is better for our eating patterns.

I think it sounds fine all except eating an appitizer....DONT EAT! You need all the room for Palo.

Wow, so you have got three cats, too! We are the only ones with more than one cat among all our friends, and I think they believe us to be a little crazy to have so many cats :rotfl:.
How cute that you have a Maine Coon! Two of ours (the younger ones, 3 and 4 ys) are Norwegian Forest Cats, a bit similar to Maine Coons but with more pointed, fox-like little faces. Do you have them at all in the US? They are not as popular as Maine Coons here either, but there are a few breeders who have them. They are really sweet, friendly and social - but probably not too bright ;) (the big red tomcat is a total lover-boy as well and he wants to be held all the time, but he is too stupid to drink running water from the tap, he always bites into the water stream, sneezes and hisses, and eventually gives up. Gotta love him, silly thing. :rotfl2:)

Have a great day everybody, we are off to test drive a couple of cars ... Please keep your fingers crossed for us that we find our new car, I think the old one is going to fall apart before too long!
