One more week closer - woo hoo! We also picked up the current Passporter book for the DCL and we're learning so much! LOL It's so much fun planning for our FIRST CRUISE!

That's not really true, of course, as I still have so much to read up on: Trip reports, and Passporter, and threads on Fish Extenders, ... Gotta go now, so busy with all that reading!

One more thing, though: Shouldn't we possibly add to the roll call at what dinner seating we are all booked? I've seen that on other cruise meet threads and think it might be a good idea. So to get that started: We have booked the late seating.

It is quiet on here this week-end. I guess everyone is out p - a - r - t - a - y - ing!!! Yesterday was my day to do all my yard work. Gots alittle too much sun. Is my face red or what!!! Also my neck, arms, back and legs. One of these days I'll learn to cover up.
Today DW and I are going over for DGD Emily's birthday party. She turns the big 1 - 0 today. It seems like just yesterday she was just a little thing. Now she is getting so grown up. She's so darn smart too. (At least ahe thinks she is!!!) Papa here can still stump her with some of my questions on history. Since I'm as old as dirt!!! That's what DW says anyways. (Gots to love 'em, huh guys!!!) Well, have to go and wrap Emily's birthday gifts. Talk to you again real soon.

We have late seating.

We have a birthday party today too...and little league all star game (Ron), I have one more costume to alter then I'm done!

Wow, looks like most people here have a late seating so far - I thought the early seating would have been much much more common.

Today seems to have been the day for birthday parties, as I was at one too! My goddaughter turned two today. And she loved the Baby Minnie doll I brought her from WDW, awww .

The weather could have been better, though: It doesn't feel much like summer here in Northern Germany at the moment, rainy, windy and around 55 degrees. Not nice ...

Well DGD's birthday was a pretty good one for her. She really rolled in allot of loot. And, she's not done yet!!! This coming week-end DW and I are taking her out to eat, her choice of restaurant, and go see UP at the theater. (You don't think we spoil her do you!!!!???!) She was our first grand child, and DW and I helped our son raise her. Her mom is not in the picture. She took off shortly after Emily was born. It is sad to think Emily will never know her mother, unless Emily takes charge when she grows up and tries to find her. But, as of now Emily couldn't be happier. She really brightens up DW's and my days.
Well, enough of the mushy stuff. I need to get started on work. Gots to earn those pay checks so we can pay for the cruise. See ya!!!

We had a great(but busy)weekend as well. I did a lot of work in the garden and had a bunch of women over for a book club meeting yesterday. That's always fun! We went and saw UP last Thursday and really enjoyed it. *warning*-There are some real tear jerker moments in it. It didn't bother the kids, but I was blubbering.

Oh, we are signed up for early dining. DD has acid reflux so we try to eat earlier than I would normally like. I would much rather have late and if she is doing better by then, we may try to change it once on board.

Here in my little part of the world (incidentally, that's only 167 miles from the shipyard where the two new Disney ships are being built ) , the new week has brought the same cold yukky weather that we have been having on the weekend. I want summer!

I have now started reading up on nenner1's trip report ... But as I am such a thorough person , I started with the first one and am still in there, slowly reading my way toward the recent report. I really like it so far!

I'm glad you are enjoying it, that's quite a bit of reading there...

Hopefully I can have the current one done before you get to the end! The newest TR is actually from a Western so it should help you learn a bit about the ports. I am still on the Cozumel day...so I have a bit of work left on it to finish up.

We are down to one laptop now (somehow the LCD stopped working on our newer one that we don't have a service plan on)...this one (that we DO have a service plan on) the power cord connection isn't working right so to charge it we have to physically HOLD the plug into the back. Annoying, but we don't want to take it in for service since it is all we currently have (besides our antique dinosaur desktop from 2001!) I am death to all LCD's..this is the third one we have gone through...I still have an old Dell laptop in the closet with a cracked LCD!

I told Ron we should just buy a new LCD on ebay and he can install it (he knows nothing about computers)...LOL I found an illustrated instructional online! I'm trying to convince him he can do it!!!!

We are still on vacation.

We spent the whole day, at beachclub by the pool....I didnt use enough sun screen on face, uughhhh, i hate a peeling face.

But the pool was fun.

We are geting ready to leave for dinner and DH is pacing so i best go.

I have finished your first two trippies and really really enjoyed them, and am now up to page 4 in the long-awaited 7-night Western trippie. I have to say I am 494 days out from my first cruise and already scared to death of trying to survive the crowds at check-in
