There is something in my attic!!!!

And I am not talking about all of our Christmas decorations and unused wedding gift crystal either!

Savannah's in bed, Shane is off visiting a buddy (where his cell phone doesn't work!) and I am sitting here listening to the sond of something rustleing around over my head and (what sounds like) shreading paper!

Ewwwww! I hope is isn't rats! The squirrels we have in the back yard trying to find a warmer place I can handle (sort of!). That would remind me of the Donald Duck & Chip & Dale cartoon! But RATS? EWWWWWW!

OH MY.........did you get it fixed???? Or find out what it was.

I used to live in a basement apartment......BUT the endof the chimney of that big old houseended in the closet of my apratment.....and i used to get the weirdest things in my rooms that fell down through the chimney.

A large bird a small bird(many times) an owl....which terrified me, and a bat which was the last straw!!!!!!!

Same city moved to a big hiouse of my own and had possom babaies in my attic.........

We really didnt think it would happen so fast........

But we really found the right hiouse..........
BESt part about it is, it was really not in our price range, but our realtor told us we should put in a bid that was in our price range since it is getting ready to go to foreclosure.

Then as i was looking it up tonight, we saw that the price had been lowered a whopping $50, 000 yeah.....thats right...........

Lowered below what our highest amount was we were willing to pay!

It was almost like a miracle!!!!!!!

We are extremly excited......
4 bedroom 2 bath a little makeup room off the master bath, nice size laundry room off the dining area and 2 patios with a couple palm trees!!!!!!!

Keep your fingers crossed for us!!!!!!!!

dOes anyone know where i can online see a street map of keywest??

Trying to see how far of a walk it would be from the port to southern most point and things to do in between .........

In case we decide to go the cheap route and not rent an electric car.

Also when looking at a map i see a spot that says SHIP BASIN i think is that where we will be docked and also i thought we would be docked right at Mallory square i think its called??????

I usually use Google earth or yahoo maps. Also, Google maps has a "street view". It's like walking down the street! (you can go to google, search Key West then click on the map option)

yes it is Mallory square...try google map for a steet view, that might work??

I'm still here too. I check in every so often . . .on a daily basis I've been preoccupied with our upcoming Mexican Rivera Cruise, meeting and chatting with cruisemates on the Cruise Critic boards! We've been trying to decide excursions and dining . . .this can get kind of stressful when you want to do EVERYTHING!!

One month from today we will be @ WDW! We will be celebrating Savannah's birthday while we are there. She turns 8 on Feb. 24. We're staying at the Coronado for the first time. We usually only do day trips to one of the parks, but this time we're going to all the parks over a 5 day span. It's not a cruise, but it will still be fun.
