Been kind of quiet here the last couple days! Nothing much happening in my neck of the woods . . .just a regular ordinary day!!! That's good . . . right?

I'm doing well thanks! Came home this evening and noticed that one of the houses in our neighborhood has Christmas lights on their house already

Haven't been able to get my DH do do that for us since he fell off the roof a few years ago . . .doing our Christmas lights!!!

Bruce, put up our lights a few weeks ago but we have not turned them on yet. I have to put the candles in the windows, and my wreaths I hang a wreath on every window with a maroon colored bow on it to match my shutters!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, nope . . .we wait . . .until it might snow!! I lights on the house. Guess we'll see how it goes this year. DH is retired and has plenty of time . . .I even bought him a "kit" so he doesn't need to get on the roof. We'll see . . .

oh no!! poor guy...did he get hurt bad??

Broken ribs, bruised hip, ER visit. . . .it wasn't pretty. At least I was there to pick up the pieces

I had to put the (real) tree up MYSELF that year . . .it fell over THREE times . . .had to tie it to the wall with fishing line!!! Went and bought a nice Martha Stewart tree at kmart after that ordeal . . .its been with us ever since!!!
