well we just got off the Magic Nov. 1, man was it FABU! Halloween on the High Seas was GREAT! we rebooked THIS cruise while onboard along with
sg4disney, aka, stefanie. good thing is i have 2 years to plan, sad thing is we have TWO years! aggg!

Yes i wanted to do soemthing different thsi time around but could not afford the Europe cruises.........so we have never done a WESTERN!

We just got of the Magic. I'm sad to be back but glad to be planning another trip. We had a great time meeting Amy and her family and all of our DIS friends, but I have been reading about the problems some people seemed to have had.

Anyway...I look forward to getting to know all of you.

It's time to take the braids out of Samantha's hair that she got on Castaway Cay. It still looks great, but she has a basketball game tomorrow night. Oh well, can't keep them in forever.

WE are considering staying on the baot at Key West i mean we are so close to key west.

We didn't have any storms but lots of wind and waves. I think we had 12' to 14' swells one night....lots of sick people and on formal night at that. It was in the high 70 to mid 80s most of the time and overcast. It rained a little but nothing much, unless you were one of the ones standing in the line of at least 50 people to get back on the boat the first stop at Castaway Cay when the sudden flash flood came that lasted for about 5 minutes. Everyone in line got soaked! I think a lot of people had rushed to the ship at once because they saw the rain coming. It was very nice the day we went to Key West, maybe high 70s. On the last day at Castaway Cay it was cool and lightly raining at times in the morning. Around noon, it cleared off and turned into a beautiful day. It wasn't the weather I had hoped for but it could have been worse.

Welcome Aboard... We cruised three weeks ago and loved it... Going again in Aug...!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had some weather issues on our cruise too!!!!!!!!! I guess you never know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ITA with you on OQ check out issues. I followed that over the summer and honestly I expected DCL to solve that problem before now.

Yes i read what the Op said and i almost didnt believe it at first as it seemed everyone that was posting about the "bad" had minimal post count, so i almost took it as a spam post at first then when others started to agree.......didnt know what to think.

But about the kids clubs, i was so taken off guard when we boarded the ship in May.....Funny thing is the people in the Terminal telling us about the kids club didnt even know that my Dd would be bale to check herself out they were telling us one thing and then we we got in the club it was a totally different thing.

I was so dis appointed that i went and complained which i NEVER DO!
They sent the head guy out he had on his gorgeous white suit and all his pins he was so handsome.....oh yeah back to the issue he sat down with us and talked and took us to the kids club and told the ladies in the club that i wanted my Dd to page me everytime she left the club as that was the least they could do, unfortunatley it didnt really help much.

AS she would page and be gone and i could still not say go or not go.

BUT, the flip side is, i was sick when i spoke the the head guy and could barley talk, my throat wa vey sore, and they sent a tray of hot tea to my room when we came in from an excursion the next day from the kids club and at the end of our cruise they sent us a scrabble game. it was thoughtful but did not fix the issue at hand

I hope for others it goes back the way it was before all these changes.
