Hi everyone! :wave2:

It is going to be 103 degrees here today and yesterday it was 104. I am quite tired of it and I keep putting off the lawn mowing because it is just too hot to do so much outside. It is supposed to "cool off" to the 90's soon but that dosn't sound much better does it.?!

Hi Mdavison! Happy to meet you. :goodvibes

:rainbow:

SUE

Jules, on the on line check in forms there is a payment authorization form. On it is listed all other parties traveling with you. We are all listed there. If you two want to check my name and authorize my ship board expenses to be charged to you its okay with me :teeth:

Ellen

Sue it is lovely to hear from you, it is much cooler here this week, back to normal UK weather which is not good news for Linda in her caravan !! You all seem to be having great weather, not good when you have to work though.

Jane I am just off to authorise all your payments to our account ha ha !!

SUE

Our youngest DD is 4 as well. Are you putting your DD in the Oceaneers Camp? Hope to meet you on the ship. Also looking forward to everyone else going on the cruise.

 :woohoo: :wave2:

Jules and I have been out finding newbies again. We have invited dwoct06 to join us here. Hope she finds us soon. Won't Linda be suprised when she gets back and we have all these newbies with 4 year old DD's (dwoct06) has a 4 year old neice coming.

It will certainly be exciting when we all meet on board. :grouphug:

Could anyone give me some info on pirate night? When is it and should everyone dress up? (Kids,etc..)

Mdavison- Pirate night pirate:

I believe it is Tuesday night after Castaway Cay It is a party and evening buffet. It is after dinner not instead of so I hear that many are too full to eat. Do you have early or late seating? Not everyone dresses up but many do and all of us here on this thread will be

Most of us have never cruised before except Jules and Ian. So they are our experts.

Jane, we are good at scouting out the new people, I hope we get joined soon, Linda will be really pleased at all the new friends for Ellie. Had a look at the way to get to our ressie like you told me last night and you will be pleased to hear theat I have authorised all your payments to Ian :rotfl2: Get going on those coctails people :drinking1

I wonder where Kelly is, although i suppose she did have a very busy week ahead of her, I am looking forward to hearing about the bridal shower :Pinkbounc

We are not experts on the cruise, though I suppose Ian is pretty good, to be honest the cruise is his baby, I am the Disney World girl !! although I love the cruise Ian knows lots more than I do. The Pirates night party last year was on nassau day, but this year I think you are right and it will be Tuesday night, last year we were in Parrots Cay for it, and our waiters gave us all red bandannas, I think they are now black, to  be honest not many people were dressed up, I think more people make an effort on the four night cruise (we did three nights last year), after dinner there was a party on deck with the characters and a disco and character dancing. Mickey was then on the top deck in his pirate outfit and there were fireworks. As I think I have told you before we were quite disappointed as we felt it rude to leave the table before our dinner companions and we missed quite a bit of the party. This year can't wait to dress up with you all and enjoy all of the party - we will have a blast :cheer2: hope this helps !

CHANGE

Here I am! woohoo more fellow cruisers. hope they find us. Linda will be so thrilled as will Elouise.

Tonight we had the meetings with the new florist and our cake baker. The florist was excellant I'm so pleased with her I know she will do a beautiful job. The cake was a different story. I came with the design Jacob and I decided on and the flavors we were considering and I got told "No" to nearly everything - even the design :( - it's nothing that complicated either as far as cakes go..... I wasn't very impressed to say the least. It was a lot of "can't do" rather than "can do" spirit coming from them. Sooooo...we're shopping around again for someone else.

We also stopped into the tux rental place and picked out some styles. We're going to go to the larger store next weekend to see some styles in person before making final decisions but I was relieved that they had a green to match our color :thumbsup2

It was a busy day and i'm tired! But I have work to do as tomorrow I go for the wedding hair trial, I hope it goes well!

spare

Hi everyone,
Everything has been so busy, but my DD starts school on Monday and things will be getting into more of a routine. Now I can start planning!! YEAH!!!
I paid our final payment, so it's official.

It sounds like ya'll have gotten to know each other very well. Here's a little bio on me.
Mom of 12 yr DD and married for 15yrs. I stay pretty busy with my daughter, her school activities, volunteering at my church and I am a Girl Scout leader. Can you tell I like to volunteer!?! I live in South Georgia. I have a pet yorkie terrier, Abbey, who owns my heart . That's about it...

We just got back from a trip to Hilton Head Island, which was very hot; too hot to enjoy. It has been over 100 degrees here in GA for several days. My pool feels like bathwater- too hot to swim in. It sounds like it is hot where everyone on this feed lives.

From what I can gather about the feed, there are some regular posters. Tell me if this is right...

Kelly, who is getting married- bless your heart! Congratulations!!
Sarasota, who lives in England with no kids
MJ, from FL with DD and sis Sue
and others who are in and out. Is that about right??

I have been reading DC passport, so I hope to start making plans soon. I may need some advise, so keep an "ear" ::MinnieMo out for me! lol

Hi Tink it is great to hear a bit more about you, you like your volunteering, there is one more regular, who is camping at the moment, her name is Linda, DH Wayne and DD Elouise who is 4, they are from Swindon in England...

Lid

Tink, Great to get to know you. Looks like you are catching up quick. You are even in on our word game :thumbsup2

Saratogagirls name is Jules. We switched to real names because we felt like we were all getting to know each other and knew we would want to use our names on the cruise.

You sound alot like me only me 5 or 6 years ago. I do work full time but I have always said that if I didn't need the $ I'd be a full time volunteer. I am very active in my kids lives, was a GS and a Boy Scout leader. (I have a DS 20 in the Navy) Did all of the sports and school stuff they got involved in. Co-captain of my relay for life team at work, and very active in my church. I also take night classes at college.

What about your cruise bio? :confused3 Are you doing any parks before or after your cruise? Early or late seating? Are you dressing up for pirate night? What Catagory room did you get? What are you most looking forward to? Are you going to try Palo? Well I'll shut up now.

 Hi Kelly, Glad the florist worked out. Don't give up on finding the right cake decorator. Its your day, you should have it your way :dance3:

We miss you Linda

I totally agree with Jane - Kelly make sure you get exactly what you want, this is your special day !!

Does anyone else know what room number they have ??

Cruise

We have a room on the 2nd deck, won't know the number until I get home this evening.

:dancer: :rockband: Thanks Kelly thats all we needed to know - :cool1: :banana:let the party begin

Only teasing Kelly, you should know us well enough bu now to know that we wouldn't do anything bad to you and Jake

LINDA - I know you are not home yet, but I need some info, what size feet does Ellie have, they have mega sweet slippers in our local Asda - they are fluffy red welsh dragons, I need to get her some, they are so cute, let me know her size !! :Pinkbounc
