Hi Doug, Stacy and Family!!

We are kind of neighbors. We live in Clearwater. We only have seasonal passes and can't wait to get back into the parks. We love getting to be big kids!!
Stacy

Our daughter has recommended we sign into the DIS board before our upcoming cruise. We would love to participate in the Fish Extender exchange if it is still open. This will be our first Disney Cruise and look forward to being

Welcome aboard. And greetings from Iowa.
Thanks. Can you tell me how we will know if we get accepted onto the Fish Extender list? So far our name has not been added.

You are on both posts. You are #34 on the 3rd post page one
AND I also made reference to you at the top of that page so all would realize I was adding more names.
On the 1st post go to GTY 05E - about the 12th one listed.
In addition if you go to post #1024 you will see you were added on 24 July at 7:33 am.
I especially remember doing that post because of your special Disney name ;)

so hoping we can split up the FE group now. or did i miss a post where we already have? if not, can we make a decision on how to do it? if more people come on board (pun intended), we can just add them to a group. our sign up day is monday, can't wait!

Although no decision has been made for splitting the FE - if you take a look at the following - I have split the names in half by cabin number. So far there are 18 in one group and 18 in the other group. The 3rd group hasn't signed into the FE as participating.

As new people sign up or get room numbers I will continue to put them in cabin number order. So perhaps a number in each group can be decided and names added later. Whatever is decided please let us know so - if you would like - I can adjust post # 3 on the first page accordingly.

I need help!!!!

First this is kind of funny. I'm planning a family cruise for next May on NCL. My family has always cruised NCL and loved. It is so difficult to adjust to differences. Planning an NCL cruise is so easy because I know everything there is to know. I guess I was too laid back with my planning. I booked us on a cruise for May 17 and my son is graduating from college on May 18. What an idiot. So right now I'm waiting for a call from NCL so I can rebook.

Anyway, I'm still having problems understanding the check-in procedure on Disney. Is there anything for me to do before that 3AM check in time? I don't plan on waking at 3 but I would like to complete it before I go to work. How long does it typically take to complete the process? Should get Bill's passport info and check both of us in? I just wish I could see the info needed before it's actually time to do the check in.

Thanks everyone. My mind is clearly fried. :)

Hi there fellow Baystater....I'm not sure what you mean by 3am??? You usually sit at your computer around midnight, enter your login info and when that little hand sweeps to 12 you enter and get cracking.:lmao:I don't recall how long it takes and I admit that I was a bit lost as the site was different than last year. Then after 7am you can get your port arrival info. Yes, have your passport info ready. You'll need it. Maybe your cc number also unless your using a cash account. It's simple, just take a breath and relax. I wish you the best of luck getting everything that you want.:thumbsup2

Thanks Linda,

I had read that the port arrival info was available after 3. Now whether what was written and what I read were the same thing is a whole other issue.

I would imagine we won't get much being newbies but we'll see.

When our Booking time came on us at Silver it was 12am U.S time for booking Excursions/Spa etc and then the actual Check in for Ship Arrival time was 3am.

The Check in process didn't open up till 3am only the Excursions etc are 12am. :)

i think the split on the FE looks good. hopefully others will come along and agree. i'm going with that for now so i can get my gifts made. there will be enough things to accomplish that last month without having to hurry through making something. onward!

Just wondering if we could get in on the FE.... Our information is DH - Kyle DW - Jennifer DS - Zachary (14) DS Scout (11) and DS Maxwell (9). Our cabin number is 8669. Thanks so much!

I didn't know that the check in started so early.:confused3I was so excited that I got everything I wanted at midnight, including Palo brunch, that I completely forgot about it.:rolleyes1 I managed to get my port time even at 2:30 in the afternoon.:woohoo:

The FE lists also look fine, I'm looking forward to getting my list Qty decided.:)

18 all for the Moment !

I've mentioned before that I am (well really used to be) very active on cruise critic. There were often meet and greats that many people signed up for but in the end didn't attend.

Does the same type of thing happen with the FE's. I notice there are some people who signed up but really havent' been back since - not that there is a reason to. Typically do people sign up and then don't participate at all OR hang an FE but not contribute or does it seem everyone that signs up participates.

I was wondering the same thing.

The cruises I have been on before we didn't have that problem. However, there wasn't nearly as many signed up.

Good question by the way :thumbsup2

thank you, until a cutoff date is posted I will continue to separate it in two.

The split looks good to me. Lizanb and Farnmor wanted to be on both lists.

I am surprised at all of the recent newcomers! Everyone is getting in cruise mode now!
