I'm a little late in joining the party, but we are sailing with you all! There are 9 of us altogether, 5 adults (Marcy, Dustin, Jill, Tim and Janet) and 4 kiddos (Drew-10, Taylor-9, Nicholas-8 and Brendan-7). We would have loved to join the FE but missed the deadline. We will still have our extenders hanging though! See you there!

Shadowryter would you mind making the bubble fill letters for me too? I'd love ones that say: Liza and Mikaiyah's Fantasy Trip. My only request is that there are lots of Princesses in Mikaiyah's name. Overall we love all Disney characters.

We just got an update through our TA (Costco).

I got them to call and inquire about our cabin number which we kind of expected 14-21 days prior on a GTY booking. Well...we booked under a VGT which is special pricing, and we will not get assigned a cabin number until one week prior!


So....Everyone exchanging FE's with us....just be aware. I guess there will be others in the same boat, so to speak.

Wow, I guess that gives you something to look forward to. On the FE list there is only one other family without a cabin number (wanderluster25). If it's one week prior that will give some preparation time to post it. Of course there's always the dry erase boards (5052 & 7690) - once you get on board

If you guys do the t-shirt thing - make sure to have someone post it on the Facebook Group - I know a lot of us over there don't get the time to come by here so regularly.

We also booked guarantee. I just checked and still no cabin assignment. Our TA said we'll be assigned one 2 weeks before sailing.

idea..... take the red mm ear that has pirate mickey in it (fantasyswashbucklers: as in shadowryter's signature) , wrap the text from the white ear that has the destinations (dclnameoutline) & wrap the text along the edge of the red ear, slide down "of the caribbean" below (instead of on top of ear).

Just playing around with this. Still working on the idea with the ship.

Can you do the Minnie Mouse like you did for Peggy using Tara. Can you do the same type of design using Mickey Mouse for Bill.

Then can you do a "male" and "female" pirate (whatever you think are appropriate) for Bill and Tara.

Linda, is there a problem with my request or did you just miss it? I hate to be a pest but watched to see if anyone after my request had gotten theirs. I know you have a lot going by looking at your DISthread. I also feel like a whiny baby because someone else go theirs and I didn't get mine. Guess I am a whiny baby. My original post was 1528. I think it will make it easier to see what I am requesting.

I like the t-shirt with itinerary idea. My family ordered shirts with the cruise ship in the backround and characters dressed like pirates which we plan to wear when we board the ship. If you guys make something else with the itinerary we would be interested in that too!!

I used one of shadowryter's designs (many of which I have also made into magnets ) for the front of a t-shirt, then added the ports to the back, with our stateroom and celebration info. I *just* got an email from Zazzle's content team cancelling the order due to alleged copyright violations, however, so I don't know if I will actually be able to get them to print it for me! It is using this Fantasy Swashbuckler design for the front of the shirt

I was wondering about the copyright issue. I had order shirts from a vendor for a trip to WDW from a different vendor. THey were very nice but called me to let me know they couldn't do it because of the copyright issues.

I ended up ordering transfers http://amymickey.com/ I made the shirts myself and was very happy with the end result. Even though I have ZERO talent when it comes to "arts and crafts."

This is exactly why I make my own. I love Amy's transfers and my shirts always come out great. Too many copyright issues..after all Disney owns everything Disney and companys are afraid of lawsuits.

I love all your designs but due to possible copyright issues,,can you just do a picture of the ship, the date of the cruise under it, and the itin.somewhr in there..then I will call he company and get this started before its too late.

I didn't mean to be a pest. I'm addicted to this thread and sometimes it's so quiet and other times there's all kinds of activity. My original post ended up in the middle of an active time and I was afraid you missed it.

I didn't join the facebook group because I don't want Bill to know anything about the fish extender. I really wish I could have because I'm so sick of all the political comments on facebook. It would have been nice to have fun activity there for a change.
