ive been MIA again..only for about 4 weeks this time.

It was DF's brother's (ie..my future BIL) wedding last Saturday, so we've been all wrapped up in those events. I missed you guys!!!!

I'm going to try to catch up with some of the PJs around here There are some BIG weddings creeping up!! (LYNN!!!)

I'll also do an update here by tomorrow night. I've got some cute stuff to show you guys! and some plans have changed. (not with the wedding...with the bachelorette party!! hehe)

I actually got that dress at JCPenney about a year ago. I wore it on the cruise he proposed on (aww..lol). Its just a simple floral dress, but I did have to buy a black tube-bra to wear under it, it was a little too low cut for family gatherings lol!

Just wanted to let you know that I checked out JCPenney's website and I ordered a sundress - not the same as yours - but similar. Black and white also - hopefully I will have DF wear either a white, black or red polo shirt. I am planning on red shoes.

Wow..so I have a lot to update you on! First off...I'm so excited we are within 8 months!! Hitting that 8 month mark was huge! So we're ready to get down to business and start on all these little things for the wedding! It was just too early to start doing them before.

***BTW*** Due to a lot of concerns on the boards recently, I'm keeping some of the when/where details out of my PJ. Not for any particular reason, just general caution. Most of you know those details already anyways.

Ok..so on to the updates. First of all, BIG news. Unfortunately I had to ask one of my BM's to step down, my MOH actually. It is a very long story, but in short, our friendship just fell apart. So I had to step up and ask her to step down. She was very upset, and I found out she was planning to ditch her duties anyways at a later date. (Nice to know.. ) So thats that. My sister is my MatronOH anyways, so that role won't need to be filled, but I am short one bridesmaid. However I am planning to ask DF's SIL, as we have grown pretty close over the last year and I always wanted her to be in it, I just didn't have room. Now I need advice on how to ask her to do it!! LoL

Next thing, the bachelorette party has been set!! We're going on a cruise in the fall!! So far its me and my sister and 2 friends that are already bridesmaids. I'm hoping DF's SIL will go as well. Its going to be a short little 3 night cruise, but we are all SO excited!! A Girls Only cruise!!

Hmm..what else to update you on...well I do have some pics so lets get those started.

First off..I have some of the items for the kids goody bags I'm going to give out at the reception. (only making 12..have about 8-9 kids coming)

Our wedding is Mickey-themed (no princesses here! lol)
So we have all mickey & friends themed goodies..
Stamps
Coloring books & crayons
Stickers
(all from Ebay by the way!)
I'm also going to put autograph books & pens in there. Since we're having a mouse-y suprise at the reception, I think it would be cool to have them start their autograph books at our wedding!!

I also found this at the craft store for $1 for the FG.

I thought it would be cute for her to hold either in the wedding or just play with at the reception. I've also decided to get her a parasol from France as her gift. I still have mine from when I was a little girl!

I also picked up some stuff for our favors. We're wrapping 10 of our golf tees in this ribbon and tying on the little tag that says "To Love And To Cherish"
Two of my BM's and I are getting together sometime in the next 3 weeks for a girls night of Disney movies and favor making! I can't wait!

OOH!! And I found my earrings for the wedding!! They fit with the Mickey theme perfectly!! (I'm not wearing a necklace)

I also managed to complete the BM's gifts. Here is what I have..
These bags I got off of DisneyShopping.com. (This is the bag for the MOH I had to 'fire')
Oh...and my dog Gizzy couldn't help but get a shot in on the DIS lol

I also found these initialed stationary sets for $1 each at the craft store..

Then I found these earrings at Disney when we were there last week.. (they kind of match mine!)

And finally these frames at a local craft store. (I got one for me too lol) I'm going to put in a "Thank you for being my Bridesmaid" poem and also a little note saying that I will buy them a copy of a picture from the wedding day of all of us girls to put in the frame.

and lastly, I've been working on the welcome folders. I picked up maps of all the parks, a Mickey Disney Dollar for each folder, and yesterday I made CD's of all of our favorite Disney songs to give to our guests. It has our names, "Our Favorite Disney Songs!" (in Disney font of course!) and the list of songs. I'm really proud of them! lol Here are some pics (Our wedding date is blacked out on the CD cover..)

Ok..so thats it for me! I'm all updated now! lol. I'm sure there will be more soon..I've been very busy with everything..trying to get it all done ahead of time. Ooh..and don't forget..our PS is in about 2 weeks!!

Thanks!!! I know its been a long time coming lol. I actually went up to the BW concierge desk about a month ago and just asked for them. I explained what they were for and the girl was like "Oh sure!" I wasn't even staying at the resort lol. Then I asked what Disney Dollars they had (yes...you get them at Disney..and NO..it doesnt sound stupid They aren't as popular now as they used to be..but they're still fun!) and she said they only had Ariel ones at the desk but she thought they had just received a shipment of the new Mickey $1s and she went and checked in the back for me..and they had them!! I bought all 28 they had at the desk, so now I just need 2 more lol. (We're having 30 groups/families..so we need 30 welcome folders!)

Just caught up on your PJ! Everything sounds great so far! I love the pics of you in your dress, too cute!

Your girls cruise sounds wonderful!! My mom, sister, aunt and SIL do a girls cruise every year for the past 6 yrs. It is WONDERFUL!!! more fun than any vacation i've ever been on. One funny thing, the last cruise we went on was a 4 night cruise, and we had 42 pairs of shoes!! we needed another cabin just for all the shoes!!!

Whew...had a day off today so I tackled a bunch of wedding stuff. I managed to finish our Blurb book for the guest book (thanks carrie!!), finished the "Will you be my bridesmaid" cards, and printed out the labels for the welcome folders. They're really cute. It doesn't sound like a lot, but it was!! lol I also sent off some emails to STVS & our planner I've been meaning to send forever. Oh, and faxed all our info for the PS & a payment to DFTW. (We're doing monthly payments to lessen the blow at the end lol)

Now..its off to bed!!

OMG!!! thats a lot of shoes!! I usually bring one pair of white heels to go with every dress and a pair or two of flip flops. I live in FL and am originally from Key Largo, so I'm used to flip flops only

I had someone on the creative boards make an autograph page of Mickey in formal attire with our names and dates so each kid could get in autographed and it will be a cute keepsake of the wedding--I couldnt afford to buy them all autograph books. I can post it if you want to see it!

haha..thats too funny about your DF. maybe him and my DF would get along. Speaking of which, there is currently a large box at the door from UPS that I'm assuming is yet another piece of monorail stuff. Anytime there is a shipment and DF won't tell me what it is, it ends up being monorail junk. Its his crazy obsession..but it is really neat to have

ok..so literally 1 minute after i posted that last one DF called and said I could open the box....and i was right..IT WAS MONORAIL STUFF!! lol

But its SO cool!!! Its the "Walt Disney World" sign you drive under on World Drive with the big Mickey & Minnie too. And signs for the 3 monorail resorts!! Pretty cool
