Could someone please point me in the right direction. I am looking for a up to date schedule for the Oceaneer Lab for my 8 year old.

Thanks

Frank

BUMP, This is important for us. I would like to know when to book a Rasul for my wife and I.

You don't mention which cruise you're doing but I found one some recent Navigators (April/May) on the Castwayclub site. When you click on Navigators there are links to lab activities from April on both 7 day Eastern and Western and from May for the 4 day Wonder. Hope this helps.

In terms of "schedule" if you mean when is it open, the answer is from 9:am to midnight each day. The activities change and there may be some your 8 yo likes better than others but it's OPEN and available pretty much any time you would be able to schedule a spa treatment.

I appreciate the help. I'm sorry I didn't mention which cruise I was on. It's a seven night cruise on the Magic in November. I was looking for a schedule of activities. Just to get an idea, so I can figure out when to book the Rasul. I am not a member of the Castaway Club yet, unfortunately.

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

You can be assured that there will be some activity he can do in the Lab at almost any time (9:00-midnight.) However, which activities will happen when--that can change. I'd pick a time of day when he is most likely to feel ok being away from you and try and schedule it then. Perhaps in the morning while he's rested and fresh? In the afternoon, after he's been with you all day?

Hope that helps. I know what you're going through.

On my year old Navigators for the 8-9s I notice that "stormin the Lab" which is essentially free time for computers, games, etc is from 9-10 each sea day morning that lunch and stormin the lab are again from 11:30 - 1:15 on the first two sea days so you might prefer to schedule Rasul at a time when there is a more structured activity.

Looks like the most fun activities such as Captain's corner (get to talk to the Captain) and Regatta racers (design racers made out of soap) are in the 1:15 - 4:30 afternoon timeslot 10-11 in the morning.

But I wouldn't be too concerned. If you're first time cruisers, you may not have as much choice so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

By the way does anybody know why when I put in the site address that it was blanked out?
Maybe you need to click the "Insert Hyperlink" icon rather than just typing it in? :confused3 Don't know for sure, just a guess...
