This was our first cruise since 2019. My kids used to love the club/lab and it was hard to drag them out. We just got off the Dream and during our cruise the kids didn’t really like the club/lab because of a lack of activities. In 2019, they would have frequent events in the club/lab during the day. However, on the Dream this week it was a lot of open house time and few activities scheduled on the navigator. This was disappointing since the draw for us on DCL is the kids clubs. I was wondering if it was a Dream thing or if it’s happening across all ships, or if it’s a cruise director thing? We had Carly as the cruise director.

I don't sail until September, but I've been watching recent video scrolls of the app activities offerings on the Magic and seems like there are quite a few things still being offered, such as the Marvel stuff, making slime, Pluto's pajama party, etc. Maybe it looks like more than it is, though. Sorry that your kids didn't enjoy the clubs as much as you all hoped they would.

We just got off of the dream. I noticed less activities too, but the pillow making with Pluto (which ended up being with Stitch) was a favorite that my 10 year olds repeated a few different days. I wish they would have had lunch and food activities back, but it was more video game time in there this time around. They were happy though as we went in November and time was limited for them to enter. So, it seems to be coming back to normal slowly but surely.

When we were on the Dream in January and you had to schedule times, everything was very structured and there were lots of planned activities. When we were on the Wonder in June with no more scheduling, there didn't seem to be as much going on, although DS only went a few times. I'll be curious how things are next week on the Fantasy.

Yes, it was mostly video games and my daughter wasn’t interested in video games. She went to the Pluto pajama party the last night but didn’t get a pillow case. The other Pluto pajama parties were during the evening show which I couldn’t understand why they would schedule it that way. The story time with Belle and stitches goo were during open house and we saw those three activities just repeated. We never saw the frozen activities or other character activities she loved.
