Is there anything special to do here during the winter months? Or is everything pretty much closed down at this time of year?

It's becoming a year around event place there's always something going on.

Had winter lights up they are nice

My aunt, uncle, grandparents, and cousins were there over Christmas. They said that most of it was closed. The estimated about +90% of all the shops/restaurants were closed.

It pretty much shuts down, although they are trying hard to make it a year round place. My cousin owns a condo there and goes up every weekend, but it is like her second home. She basically hibernates. There are restaurants open (not all) and that's about it.
