Anyone have any suggestions on renting a condo on or close to the boardwalk here?

Can you no longer search on the dis? I can't seem to find the option at the top.

Go look around on the Vacation Rentals By Owner site (www.vrbo.com) for Ocean City, MD. They have a lot of good stuff there with great pictures.

I've used realtors before and don't overly care for that. I prefer to use VRBO or rent from an owner.

I LOVE OC, MD!!!! :thumbsup2

I usually go to http://www.cbvacations.com However currently it says it is down cause of the storm they are having, but it is a really good website.

Personally we love Golden Sands though that isn't close to the boardwalk, you would have to drive there or take the bus (I believe it's $2 pp all day.) I know my husband stayed at Castle in the Sand when he was younger. But I think that one is pricey.

Hope this helps!

Ooooooo thrasher fries, dough rollers, dumsters, COME ON SUMMER lol

I agree with you about www. vrbo.com for great vacation rentals.

I love OC, Md but we have also rented in Rehobeth Beach, Delaware which was lovely and right down the street from OC, Md.

Well, to be fair, Rehobeth is closer to a 45 minute ride from OC (heck it took me an hour once on a rainy day). Fenwick is the next beach that is VERY close to OC. Then Bethany, then Rehobeth.

Thanks for the replies. we have checked out cbvacations.com. I will have to check out the other site.

We are trying to decide if we want to spend the extra $$ on a deck/patio that overlooks the water.

We will be a family of 3 with a 15 month old come time for the trip. The other family joining us will have 2 children. An 8 month old and a 3 year old.
We plan to spend some time at the beach each day, but not all day.

Is the deck/balcony worth the extra?

This one is great. My friend and her family rent it every year. I was in it this past June, what a huge place, if that is what you need!!! It is catty corner to the Howard Johnson's which is on 12th street and is on the boardwalk. Wonderful area!!!
