Obsessive planner Maingate questions

Replying now because it was night here... now I'm in the office again. :surfweb:
All this is really helpful information! You guys are the best!

Really, don't miss Indy. It is not a coaster. It is a car on hydraulics that bumps you around as if you were in an off road vehicle. My DS will not ride coasters, and he LOVES Indy. And I would not waste time eating at a sit-down place at all... I would probably get snacky type things all day. Like the beef/chicken skewers at Bengal Barbeque. Eat on the go, while watching a parade, or waiting in an outdoor line. And be sure to see Soarin' over California. It is a smooth ride/show that simulates hang gliding over some of California's beautiful scenery. It is not at all scary. My DS loves it too. And he also loves POTC, and the flume is ok for him. And remember, he is a big chicken when it comes to coasters!:scared1:

DangerMouse...Just wanted to let you know...When we were in the parks last week, I noticed that the entertainment guide you get along with the map of the park now tells you what rides will, and will not, have FPs for a certain range of days for both parks. For instance, the entertainment guide we picked up on Wed. at DCA was for Tuesday - Thursday and it told us that there would be no FP for Tower of Terror or Grizzly Rapids on Tuesday - Thursday and no FP for BTMR at DL. The guide we picked up at DL on Friday told us that there would be FP for TOT, Grizzly, Soarin', etc...

Maybe this is something new, but it sure came in handy while we were there. We didn't waste our time sending runners to collect FPs for those rides.

Bouncy, do you recall if Autopia was open for FP mid-week?

Thank you scanmom, it really seems that Indy could be our kind of thing! :cool1:

I've given up the idea of a sitting breakfast, after all the advice I got here, probably we'll go to IHOP before park opening. But maybe, after a few hours of commando-style riding, we'll be exhausted and we'll need a break, and a sitting lunch could be useful, not requiring to leave the park.

DangerMouse, looking at the guide for Mon 11/12 to Thurs 11/15, it shows that Autopia would only have FP on Monday the 12th. Not sure if that was because of the holiday or not.
