Obsession within your Obsession?

Hey guys,

The editorial in this month's Scrapbook Inspirations mag was talking about how many scrappers have an obsession within their obsession. The editor, for example, was crazy over brightly coloured rick-rack ribbon. Talking to some fellow scrappers, many of us seem to suffer from these mini obsessions. My mum has trouble leaving a rubber stamp behind and has dozens and dozens of them, I'm nuts over rub on sentiments and pictures with sheets I don't know how I'll ever use (I have a sheet of American patriotic sayings - I'm British!!!!)

So do you guys find yourself collecting and loving a certain type of item, ribbon, eyelets, Jolees?

Well, shopping seems to be my addiction, but I sure wouldn't call it a "mini" addiciton!

I'd have to say that eyelets & brads are my biggest "mini" addiction though. (Is that an oxymoron? LOL) I just love all those little shapes & often place an order when they get new stuff in....even though they rarely seem to make it out of their containers!

My obsession is those big slabs of patterned paper. I cannot leave one behind if it is on sale, even though I have tons of paper! When Michaels or JoAnns has them on sale, I can't resist!

I would say that paper is my "mini" addiction.

There was a scrapbook store in my area that recently went out of business so all of their stuff was 75% off. I was in there buying paper like a crazy lady! If I saw a pattern I liked, I bought EVERY SHEET THEY HAD!!! As a result, I now have about 30 sheets of the same Harley-Davidson patterned paper and about 50 sheets of NASCAR paper to add to the thousands of sheets I already had.

right now it is Prima flowers
(and ALWAYS paper!)

MIne would be Disney products... I think, I have a ton! Enough to do 10 albums. Its sad because when I actually do scrap a page about Disney sometimes I don't even use the stuff...

Mrs Grossman stickers. I have been buying her stickers since I was 8 years old. I'm just glad I started scrapping so I could really use them.

Hmmm...I'd have to say that my obsession within the addiction is keeping up with/getting DS "done" (and then of course it will be DD)

I tend to buy alot of brads and disney products. I like buying lots and lots of paper that I probably won't use but I like to look at it anyways....lol

mine has got to be stickers!!!! i feel like i can't get enough of them!!!
