I haven't that pointless, round headed guy around here lately? I hope he didn't get banished to the pointless forest again.
wasn't he going to China or Tibet or somewhere equally exotic for a while? although i think he posted about going to dl sometime on a thread not long ago...hmm,a man of mystery![]()
I see he's back.....
i live on the NorthShore. there are squillions of places around to take great photographs. we have nice old architecture, great beaches, gorgeous landscapes, bizarre animals, many sporting events, dozens of different ethnic and cultural areas, great contrasts, and plentiful beautiful women (uh... and men). they're all within a short journey of each other.
I guess one advantage to taking pictures in Australia is that your images aren't upside down on your sensors.
I'm excited.![]()
e) 'Zee' - we are all out of Zees, here. they die out with the last Tasmanian tiger. we are now using the new government approved Zed. the downside is Zeds aren't as universally accepted, so we've had to substitute 'S' in the place of Zee in words like centralised and organised.
Nice to see you back 0bli0. Can't wait to see your pics. That certainly is one beautiful area you visited.
I don't recall seeing CarolC around recently. Any word on her. Tell her we were asking about her.
As for letters of the alphabet,,, we here in the North East US, most specifically SouthEastern New England (ie: Boston, Cape Cod, Rhode Island) we don't know how to use our "R's". We add them when they are not supposed to be there... ie: soder (aka tonic, soda, pop), idear (aka, idea, thought) and take them off were they do belong... ie: cah (car), pahk, (park), Hahvid (Harvard University). Funny thing is, people always want us to say "Pahk ya cah in Hahvid Yahd". Problem with that sentance is that there is no parking allowed in Harvard Yard. Its a walk way. No cars allowed. And if you do pahk ya cah theah, they'll tow it to Meffid (aka, Medford).
