I use my primary doctor for check ups. There shouldn't be a problem with that.

Just an update:

My primary doctor saw me. Doesn't look like anything serious, maybe a cyst. The pain actually went away by the time I saw him. Having my mammogram next week just in case. It is time anyway.

He did tell me that I should find a new GYN.

Did some research and found a woman GYN in my network near home. Got a new patient appointment to see her on 9/1/11 for my wellness exam. Her office is actually really convenient and I will be swinging by for my morning appointment on my way to work.

Thanks for all the good advice and anecdotes. They really helped me make sound decisions and just get off my tush and do what I need to do.
