I suspect that the losing side in the election will probably go through something close to the traditional "mourning" period that the losing side in the election typically goes through, extended and escalated a bit, since that has been the trend in recent elections. We'll have the standard litany of claims of election irregularity that has accompanied every recent Presidential election; the standard exposition of sour grapes; the standard set of "told you so" silliness, etc.
