As to the rest I don't have a problem with your concerns, but when has McCain ever discussed what he would do to solve them. I'm concerned about oil also but we cannot drill our way out of this because EVENTUALLY we will run out, petroleum is a non renewable energy source. America is 6% of the worlds population but we consume 27% of the energy. we cannot drill our way out with those types of numbers. What does MCcain plan to do? WHO KNOWS, because all we ever get is Obama, Obama, Obama

Barack who claims 'We are our brothers Keeper" yet again proves that he is a Hypocrite. Rather then him taking care of his beloved Aunt, he rather the Government take care of her.

Sounds to me that Obama is a big fat cheapskate when it comes to himself actually opening a wallet, and helping his own.

Sure it was supported because our fearless leader (Bush) gave everyone the death and destructions song and dance. Our world would come to an end if it didn't pass. So is that really a choice or support. And I found it amazing how suddenly we were facing armeggedon when a week before El Capitan was on national TV saying our economy was sound.

As for as I know Mccain and the republicans voted for it as well even with all its pork.

This all fits very well with the McCain/Palin campaign's efforts to show overt intolerance for the perspectives of others, as a foundation for their intention to impose their own beliefs and values on the laws of the land, despite the fact that many Americans explicitly object to those perspectives.

Rhetorical disrespect for roughly half of America is no way to demonstrate leadership. It is okay to disagree, but to do so using innuendo, insinuation, and finger gestures just shows how much the person projecting those perspectives realizes how inappropriate such perspectives are.

I think you're confusing disagreement with "intolerance".

An aunt I meant once? How would I even be aware she was in dire straights?

Their is no divorce or spearation in my side of the family and we are all very close. I cannot pretend to know how I would feel if I was estranged from a large part of my family. However, I have many friends who do not speak to over half their family. I would not expect any of them to be held responsible for the actions of that side of their family, nor would I expect them to be knowledgable about those actions or provide resolution to them.

My IL's are rich and we are not estranged from them, but we are not close to them. They have never given us a dime (including times we were in financial hardship). I would not ever expect them to or ask, or accept their help. I take that back... I might for kids, in the direst of situations if there was no other way. But just for me NEVER.

Both situations are about an extended family member doing something wrong. In one case the right is saying not to judge the candidate by the others actions. In another they are saying we should. Seems related to me.

No one on the right defended McCain's brother... but they all said it shouldn't affect anyones opion of McCain. How is that different, then this affecting anyones opinion of Obama. Do you have any proof Obama even had an ongoing relationship with his aunt to be aware of her situation?
