Obamacare success stories please

Everyone who registered ready to go back and create a new password?

Seems that there was a glitch and they all had to be reset.

But all in all it is a great program. No problem. :goodvibes

I have one.

My dear friend was laid off from her job in June. She priced out private care and it was less than Cobra so she took that. Then, she got a job as a temp so she at least had money coming in.

She then went to California Care (it is what the Affordable Care act is called here) and she found coverage for her and her son for even less.

What makes me even happier is that she is a die-hard Republican who actually admitted she was surprised that this worked in her favor.

ObamaCare will increase our healthcare costs $1,168 per year.
Not a happy camper...

No no no! No complaining about your rise in healthcare costs.:sad2:

It ALWAYS goes up. We cannot complain about any rise in costs.

We must all happily accept that we are all one big family and we are all in this together. :thumbsup2

We are, after all, our brother's keeper, don't you know?

Nope sorry already bought my allotted craziness for this tax season

Still cannot even create an account. Let alone find any information. I'd label this venture an EPIC FAIL!

Epic Fail before you even get to use new insurance.

I would lol, if I wasn't morning the death of great insurance policy that has been profitable for 10 plus years for the insurance company and given me peace over the possible financial lost if we become "unlucky".

Rest in pieces my friend 1/1/2014

On the radio, they stated the cost of this epic fail software was $634,000,000.

Nice, got to love government spending on broken. Stuff.

In all fairness it's really not broken just overwhelmed, cannt wait till we get to the medical care part of this plan hope they don't get overwhelmed too.

Which radio show. Because a lot of them are political bias and slant thing to their approved parties point of view.

It is a sports radio station that broadcasts CBS news too. I listen because they do traffic every 10 minutes. I have never heard any bias from them. It is not a talk radio show. They do news and weather interspersed with the sports show during the hour. So basically 5-10 minutes of news, 2-3 minutes of weather, 6-8 minutes of traffic and the rest is sports.

I've seen multiple articles that only 51,000 have been able to sign up. At that rate, everyone should be signed up in about 7.5 years.

$634,000,000 would cover the payments for 126,800 people with $5000 policies. Think how many more screw ups and ridiculous grants there are and how many more people would be covered by that money.

Yep I deleted it but you quoted it first. But the way I look at it, yep it was political but I didn't take sides. except to say they all stink. Pretty much told the truth. So if that happens oh well, so sad. Life goes on doesn't it. I do enjoy your posts though.

Feel like ranting crazy person lol. Thank you. Deleted post dont want you to lose your name.

Well, it's been close to 2 weeks. Any more success stories?:confused3

I hope you have a good story. :goodvibes We need some.

lol... me tooo............. right now i pay 1300/month for my family insurance........ if it goes up...... i may be uninsured for the first time in my 48years ......... so send pickie dust.......vibes........... good wishes....... a working website .. MY WAY...........

I just went on the website and clicked "See Plans Now." I'm single, 28 year old male in Florida. There are a total of 89 plans to choose from with premiums ranging from $91.93 to $356.47, before any subsidy.

I have coverage through my employer, but was curious to see the cost of the plans on the exchange.

I have read a lot of people are saying that they will go uninsured and pay the fine. I have to wonder what their plans are if they should need healthcare.

Will their credit be impacted if they can't pay their portion of the bills?
