O'bama here at BWV

Lots of hoopla today. Ambulance,Fire fighters with holstered guns.Sheriff parked at entrance to Valet. Police officer on Segway. Police presence everywhere starting very early this morning. Went to get hair done and when I came back you could see someone had or was going to give a speech on lawn by bus stop. I asked Valet what was going on and he said President O'bama was there. About an hour latter someone else told my older son that Mrs. O'bama was staying here. I am guessing if she is she is staying here its on the BWI side. I see what looks like police patroling the water way around the boat docks. We were also told the Studio's would be closing at 4pm for a private event. The traffic was really bad coming into the BW after coming from getting my hair done. Its kinda funny because earlier today when we first saw all the serious goings on my DS said probably the President. I said nooooooo and laughed. Well guess who's laughing at the mom now...

I am at BW now, I caught the bus to MK around 10:00. The bus driver said Mrs. Obama would be arriving around 11:00-11:45 and during that time the busses would be rerouted to the main entrance of the resort rather than entering by the Convention Center. She was giving a speech, not staying here.

As far as I know, she was only here to give the speech and leave. I came back to the hotel through Epcot, so I don't know if the busses are back to normal. Nothing was going on out on the Boardwalk when I came back around 3:30-4:00.

The President was not here.

I am hoping that the first family's annual Christmas....oops, Holiday....trip to Hawaii is done before we get there in January.

Cheeses me off that coincidentally the Studios closed early for a "private event". Same thing happened to a family member in August....had preplanned everything....suddenly H.S. was closing early for a "special event". Also there was a parkwide power outage....this was when the Syria "attack" was being put out there. People were scared and left in droves before the early closing. Never did find out what was really going on that day.

It's been posted for months that tonight's early close was due to a CM awards party.
