Oatmeal cookies?

I know I may sound a little obsessed, asking a question when my cruise is 247 days away, but this question has been on my mind often.

When we were on our last cruise, we took the galley tour, and at the end of the tour we were served these incredibly delicious oatmeal cookies. I never found them again.

Does anybody know where or if you can get these on the Magic?

Silly question, I know, :jester: but I love oatmeal cookies! lol

Thanks,

Linda :D

Linda--

I don't know if you can actually get those cookies anywhere else on the ship. However, I do know that our servers on our last cruise (Magic) told us about the galley tour and told us they would be serving those cookies at the end.

You may just have to do the tour again! :)

Thanks for the reply, threecircles.

I wonder how many galley tours I can sign up for on one cruise!:teeth:

They had sure better still have those oatmeal raisin cookies when we go back on the Magic!! :) Every night, our midnight snack was milk and chocolate chip cookies for DS, oatmeal raisin for me from room service. And lots of days, Scoops had big plates of them out in the afternoons. After last time, I swore I was bringing an extra suitcase just to smuggle cookies back next time!! :) :)

Thanks Gina!

So its galley tours, room service, Scoops and an extra suitcase:) . I'll be ready.

I think I must have been so busy gobbling papaya at Scoops, I never noticed any cookies. So much to do, so little time. (sigh)

Ok - I am a little upset. We went on the galley tour and had those excellent oatmeal cookies. That night I was craving them and called room service - they did not have the oatmeal cookies only the chocolate chip. Gina - did you have to beg and plead with room service to get those oatmeal cookies? lol

We were served the oatmeal cookies with our tea at Tea with Wendy. I don't remember seeing them anywhere else but remember them being really good.

No, I didn't have to beg and plead! :) After picking some up at Scoops, I was craving them. So I looked at the room service menu, but only saw chocolate chip cookies. I decided to call and ask, and they said "Oh, sure, we have the oatmeal raisin." So then it became a steady habit. They got used to me, and started just sending big plates of them instead of one or two. :) I would put several in a plastic baggie and bring them to bingo with me for a snack. :)

It's been a very long time since my last cruise but I still love those Giant Island Chocolate Chip Cookies...yummmmy. I might have to book again to get the Oatmeal cookie....

Oh no!!

Do you think we can start some sort of campaign to get the oatmeal cookies served along with the chocolate chip? :D

Thanks Gina - I could really use an Oatmeal cookie right now. :bounce:

- lol - What a thread to start about Oatmeal cookies? But they are soooo good.

I actually found room service to be very accomodating. MY DD wanted pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and black olives and they whipped it up for us without hesitation. It's not listed as a choice.
