Sorry this is sort of off topic, I was wondering if anyone knows how much I can get for a ps2 for game stop? also i have a few ps2 games (not sure exactly which ones - they're in a box somewhere hence why I'd like to sell them), what does an average game go for there? We also have a ps2 modem if that is worth anything. I just want to get a game or two for the wii instead. if anyone knows anything about it that'd be great! Thanks!

you will get squat for your stuff. i would try selling on craigslist or something similar.

i had gone to our local gamestop to trade in some games, they offered $00.50 for each game. at best you might get a couple of dollars for each game. you could call ahead and ask them what your particular games and system are worth.

.50ct / game!

I'm surprised, i traded them a really crappy nintendo DS game and got 7 dollars back. i figured if I could get about that per game and then a bit more for the console I'd be set for one wii game or two ds games. I don't really want to do craigslist because I don't want anyone coming to the house to pick up the games or anything.

thanks

ps2 have no resale value. old ds games sell for a minimum of $19.99 for garbage games. I just sold gamestop a bunch of ps2 games for a whopping total of $13 for like 10 games.

i hear ya on teh craigslistthing. i personally don't sell anything via want ads or CL. i have no interest in strangers coming to my home. a friend of mine meets his buyers in parking lots at public places.
