O/T Has E.T. ever been on DVD?

I have never seen the movie E.T. on DVD. I was hoping to get it to show to our girls. Has anyone ever seen it? I tried at the video store but no luck. My parents have it on VHS, but neither they nor I have a VHS machine. Welcome to 2010

We have a copy that was released in 2002. Not sure where we got it.

I got a copy of it two months ago from Shoppers drug Mart so I am sure you should be able to find it places. I haven't even opened mine yet.

You should check future shop or a video store that sells older movies. Like Jumbo if you have one.

I got mine at Shoppers Drug Mart as well for $10 this past spring.

It was released on DVD in 2002 for the 20th anniversary. Check out used CD/movie stores. I've seen in many times 2nd hand.. and much cheaper than new.

I got an great collecters box with the 2002 DVD, the original Theatrical DVD, bonus material DVD and CD soundtrack. It also came with a Hardbound Book and an exclusive senitype. I found it about 2 yrs ago on or after boxing day at Walmart. I paid either $10 or $5 for the whole gift set.

PS the film was originally going to be called A Boy's Life.

Woah.. congrats! What a deal! I paid $70 for that box set back in '02.

Future shop has 2 versions. Normal and 20th annaversary. Oh and we have a copy too. Love the movie.

If you don't want to buy it, just see it, just get it from the Library. Mississauga has 5 copies.
